#opticalcommsstocksrallyover3% Coherent and Marvell gained over 3%, putting AI’s networking needs back in focus. Both stocks rose more than 3% in early U.S. trading on September 11, as optical communications and memory shares joined a broader market advance. These were opening-session moves. The underlying connection is straightforward: larger AI systems need to move more data between servers and data centers. Optical links help deliver the bandwidth those systems need while managing power consumption and delays. Marvell’s portfolio includes technology supporting 800G and 1.6T connections. My view: the networking opportunity is compelling, but suppliers still need to turn demand into profitable shipments. I’m watching whether faster products bring repeat orders, stronger margins and better cash generation. Revenue growth becomes more convincing when companies can deliver reliably without expansion costs absorbing most of the benefit. There’s also a timing risk. Suppliers may add capacity before customers are ready to deploy it. If projects slip, inventory and costs can build even while the longer-term demand story remains intact. My confidence would improve with consistent deliveries and earnings upgrades. It would weaken if inventories rise faster than sales or customer spending slows. 🚨 The broader market is falling
But optical communications suddenly gets hyped!
Some leading stocks surged over 3%

On September 11
China’s A-share market faced overall pressure
Yet the optical communications sector is clearly different
Junction Microsystems (China) surged 4.03%
NeoPhotonics rose 2.94%
Some optical module stocks even hit the daily limit

Behind this, there’s really one sentence
AI is still wildly consuming compute power
And the bigger the compute demand
the more it can’t afford any hiccups in data transmission

Now 800G is seeing volume expansion
1.6T is starting to enter large-scale deployment
The industry is still racing toward even higher speeds
At the same time
orders in the optical module industry chain continue to be released
Key equipment and chips even begin to show supply shortages

What’s even more interesting is
this time, the U.S. FCC restriction risks the market previously worried about
did not directly put the optical module industry chain onto the restriction list
Instead, it eased some funding concerns

So you’ll find
AI chips handle the computation
Optical modules ensure these data can run

NVIDIA stacks compute to the sky
Then discovers the network speed isn’t enough
That would be a waste 😂

The AI compute industrial chain is tightly linked to sentiment in the crypto market
When compute-related stocks strengthen
it means the market’s risk appetite is recovering
and capital is willing to bet on technology growth assets
That’s also good news for the “big pie”

BTC and ETH rising
are also benefiting from the macro sentiment rebound brought by the AI narrative

However
Optical communications is a high-valuation growth stock
and is very sensitive to U.S. Treasury yields
If next week the Fed sounds more hawkish
pullbacks in this kind of tech sector could be significant too

#opticalcommsstocksrallyover3% 📈 Optical Communications Stocks Rally >3%: Implications for Crypto’s AI & DePIN Sectors Traditional markets are signaling a massive infrastructure upgrade. Here’s how the surge in optical communications could ripple into the crypto ecosystem. 🌐 📰 Core News Optical communications stocks have recently rallied over 3%, driven by surging institutional demand for high-speed data transfer and advanced AI data center infrastructure. This traditional market movement highlights the critical and growing role of high-bandwidth networking in supporting the global AI expansion. 📊 Market Impact While this is a traditional finance event, the ripple effects on the crypto market are worth monitoring: • AI & DePIN Correlation Crypto projects focused on decentralized compute and Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks (DePIN) often mirror sentiment and capital flows from traditional AI hardware markets. • Narrative Validation As traditional capital flows into optical and semiconductor infrastructure, it validates the broader "AI infrastructure" macro trend. This can drive increased investor attention toward crypto protocols building decentralized alternatives for compute, data routing, and storage. • Ecosystem Growth The enhanced focus on high-speed data transfer underscores the long-term need for scalable infrastructure, which is a core challenge that next-generation blockchain and DePIN networks are actively working to solve. 💬 Engagement Do you think the AI infrastructure rally in traditional markets will drive the next wave of capital into Crypto AI and DePIN projects? #opticalcommsstocksrallyover3% If you invest in optics, you need to understand OCS $APT $BULLA $SNXX OCS stands for Optical circuit switching. Very simplified, you are steering light paths. The benefit it that traffic can stay optical longer which means fewer light to electronics to light conversions. Which leads to lower power and lower latency. Lumentum's path is MEMS mirrors which are esentailly tiny mirrors steering beams. Their named use cases include spine / scale-out, optical scale-up, protection, and in-rack OCS to route around failed or overloaded GPUs / TPUs. Hurlston was at Deutsche Bank on Aug 27 for a fireside and gave some nice insight here. He said the largest OCS customer took orders up "very significantly" since the Aug 11 earnings call. "We've seen a huge uptick in our order book and the order rate." Aug print already had the first triple-digit OCS quarter in the FQ1 guide, "meaningfully above the 3-digit mark," tracking ~$400M in 2H. The Deutsche Bank take-up is the increment after all that. Kathy's OFC TAM was $8B. Hurlston said that TAM now looks significantly under called, with new numbers at the next OFC. The opportunity also extends beyond google and they are very happy with the customer breadth. OCS growth over the next few years is definitely something to watch!

$TUT {future}(TUTUSDT) TUT is around $0.020, with a recent 7-day decline and a 24-hour range of roughly $0.0191–$0.0213.  Short-term: Bearish/weak — recent candles show selling pressure after the bounce. Support: $0.019–$0.020 is the key near-term zone. Holding it could produce another rebound. Resistance: $0.0213 first; above that, the $0.029–$0.030 area becomes important.
