🇺🇸 The US has authorized trading in perpetual futures on individual stocks to begin.
On November 3, CFTC Chair Michael Selig said that these contracts may be traded on exchanges registered with both the CFTC and SEC. The regulator previously opened the door to perpetual futures on Bitcoin; now it has done the same for individual stocks.
Important: this is approval for the instrument to be traded on eligible platforms, not confirmation that it is already available through every broker. Oversight remains shared between the CFTC and SEC.

⚠️ Lisk shut down the Lisk Chain network on November 2. The portal and Lisk Bridge are no longer operational.
If you have assets remaining on the closed network, their recovery is not currently guaranteed. The team plans to launch a manual claims process in January 2027, but no detailed terms are available yet.
The Lisk project itself has not shut down: the LSK token continues to exist on the Ethereum network. This is a blockchain shutdown, not a token cancellation.
🔐 Liquid has fully restored bitcoin backing for LBTC following the September incident.
Liquid Federation reported that reserves once again cover the issued LBTC at a 1:1 ratio. In September, an error in Elements led to around 4,000 BTC being withdrawn from the network; 3,400 BTC were later returned. Restoring the reserve does not mean that all the withdrawn coins were recovered.
BTC and LBTC swaps through participating providers are now available, while direct withdrawals through the federation are still subject to tighter restrictions.
🏦 Consensys introduced Sovereign Network Interoperability — tools for settlements between separate banking blockchains.
The system coordinates settlements in tokenized securities, currency payments, and collateral transactions without transferring assets through bridges: they remain on their original networks.
Connections to EVM networks are currently available; support for Canton is only planned. No real client settlements using the new product have been reported yet.
📰 The Ethereum Foundation has launched a website about using Ethereum in government and public services.
One example is digital identity in Bhutan: credentials remain in users’ wallets, while the Ethereum network helps verify their authenticity without publishing personal data on the blockchain.
This is not the launch of a new government product, but a collection of real-world use cases and resources for organizations.
🚨 BTCPay Server confirmed BTC and LTC thefts from hot wallets on installations running version 2.4.1 or older.
For owners of these servers, simply updating is not enough. The project recommends transferring the remaining funds to a new wallet, deploying a clean server, and replacing access keys. No such attacks were detected on installations already running version 2.4.2 or newer by November 1.
💳 Solana: crypto card payments hit a record $141 million
In October 2026, tracked crypto card payments made with stablecoins over the Solana network totaled approximately $141 million—a new monthly high. In September, the figure was $113.9 million, according to Paymentscan data.
This reflects the real-world use of stablecoins for purchases, but it is not the total volume of all card payments on the network. An increase in transactions does not, by itself, mean that the price of SOL is rising.
📰 Binance expands cryptocurrency withdrawals after hack
On November 3, Binance announced the next phase of restoring withdrawals. According to Reuters, withdrawals for additional assets on the BSC, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, and Sui networks are expected to resume at 04:00 UTC. Some tokens on Arbitrum, Optimism, Tron, and Base are also included in this phase.
Important: Withdrawal availability depends on the specific asset and network. Check the latest status on Binance before transferring.
📰 SEC clarifies rules for decentralized crypto projects
On November 2, SEC staff added three questions to their guidance about who actually controls a blockchain. Participants in an open DAO vote are generally not considered a single controlling party unless they are connected by separate agreements. But the ability to unilaterally change the code, voting rules, or network access indicates centralized control.
An important caveat: this is the position of SEC staff, not a new law or binding regulatory decision. The actual authority of participants remains important when evaluating a specific token.
In an SEC filing dated November 2, Strive disclosed that it purchased 124 $BTC during the period from October 24–30. The average price, including expenses, was $80,526 per coin, for a total of about $10 million.
Strive now holds 43,124 BTC. This is not a new issuance of bitcoins or a price forecast: it is a purchase for the company’s corporate reserve. Meanwhile, Strive had $490.4 million in cash as of October 30.

📰 North Korea rejects FBI allegations over Binance hack
On November 3, North Korean news agency KCNA published a statement by Kim Yo Jong: Pyongyang denies involvement in the theft of more than $6 billion in cryptocurrency and calls the U.S. allegations a political provocation.
The FBI previously linked the attack to the TraderTraitor group, which it attributes to North Korea. The denial itself does not disprove the investigation’s findings—the parties’ accounts remain diametrically opposed.

📰 Nvidia, Nike, and Costco object to trading tokenized versions of their shares on OKXICE
In an official notice dated October 30, OKXICE, a platform created by OKX and ICE, the owner of the NYSE, listed 50 companies that had filed objections. Of the 62 companies on the original list, 43 (about 69%) opposed the initiative. New additions to the list include Nvidia, Nike, Costco, Micron, and Reddit.
This is not a ban on stock tokenization in general: the objections concern the issuance of tokens by independent third parties for trading on a specific platform. The OKXICE launch date has not yet been announced.
📰 tZERO prepares to go public through a $350 million deal
On November 2, tZERO, which develops infrastructure for tokenized securities, announced a merger agreement with FG Imperii (FGII). tZERO’s pre-money valuation is $350 million, including up to $25 million contingent on meeting certain conditions.
After the deal closes, the shares are expected to trade on the NYSE American under the ticker TZRO. The potential $231 million in SPAC funds is not guaranteed: the amount depends on investor redemptions. The deal is expected to close in early 2027, following the required approvals. This is an agreement, not a completed listing.
📰 Standard Chartered launches tokenized deposits in Hong Kong
On November 2, the bank announced the launch of a service for corporate clients: deposits can be transferred between participating banks around the clock via EnsembleTX, while interbank settlements are made in central bank money.
This is not a new stablecoin, but a digital form of a bank deposit. According to Standard Chartered, China AMC, Finloop, and PantherTrade have already conducted live transactions, including settlements for tokenized money market funds.
📰 Animoca Brands receives final approval to manage funds in Abu Dhabi
On November 2, the company announced that its subsidiary, Animoca Asset Management, had received FSRA authorization in the ADGM financial center. Unlike the preliminary approval granted in 2025, this is now an active license to manage collective investment funds.
An important caveat: according to the regulator’s register, the company is not permitted to serve retail clients or hold their assets. This is a fund manager’s license, not permission to open a crypto exchange or launch a fund for the general public.
⚠️ Blast is shutting down its network: withdrawing assets is now more difficult
Coinbase Prime’s official status page marked the “Blast Network Shutdown” incident as resolved on October 31. The exchange had warned in advance that BLAST tokens not withdrawn from Coinbase by October 26 could become inaccessible on its platform after the network shut down.
Blast’s team separately said that assets remaining directly on the network could be withdrawn through the bridge contracts to Ethereum L1 after the regular interface closed on October 26. This does not mean that tokens held on Coinbase can be recovered in the same way. Check instructions only in official sources, and don’t trust “recovery services.”
📰 Strategy bought an additional 811 BTC for $65.5 million
On November 2, Strategy disclosed its purchases from October 26 to November 1: 811 BTC at an average price of $80,846. The company now holds 849,327 BTC, purchased for a total of approximately $64.08 billion.
At the same time, Strategy allocated $208.2 million to repurchase STRC preferred shares. The company used some of the proceeds from the sale of MSTR common stock to buy bitcoin.

📰 Binance opens independent reserve verification for 10 crypto assets
On November 2, the exchange announced the completion of a ZK proof for the snapshot dated October 31. Holders of BTC, ETH, USDT, BNB, SOL, USDC, XRP, USD1, RLUSD, and ZEC can now independently verify that their balances are backed at least 1:1 using the official Proof of Reserves tool.
An important detail: the verification applies to a specific snapshot and does not guarantee that there will be no risks in the future. Binance reports that it has recovered approximately 95% of the assets affected by the hack. The next snapshot, featuring an expanded list of tokens, is scheduled for November 4.

📰 NYSE prepares shareholder vote for tokenized shares
On November 2, Broadridge announced that it will handle shareholder records and voting on the New York Stock Exchange’s future blockchain platform. Shareholders will be able to participate through compatible wallets, brokerage interfaces, or ProxyVote.
The point is not just to trade shares as tokens: investors are promised that they will retain their voting rights and proof of ownership. But the platform itself has not yet launched—it requires regulatory approval.
🚨 Possible $106M+ cryptocurrency theft under investigation in the EU
On November 2, on-chain investigator ZachXBT reported that more than $106 million may have been stolen on November 1 from accounts at several centralized exchanges belonging to an unnamed European organization. The funds were withdrawn in USDC and USDT.
According to ZachXBT, the suspect exchanged the stablecoins for ETH and transferred the funds through exchangers, XMR, and cross-chain bridges. ZachXBT considers a link to the Lazarus Group unlikely.
⚠️ The name of the affected organization and the exchanges have not been disclosed. The amount and the theft itself have not yet been officially confirmed.
