$OM holders, mark December 2 in your calendar ⏰ MANTRA has opened the eighth claim batch for the OM token upgrade. According to Odaily: • Token vesting from the upgrade continues through December 2 • If you haven't made any claim since June 3, you must complete at least one claim by December 2 • Miss it, and you may lose eligibility for future distributions Why this matters: token migrations and upgrades often pay out in batches over months. Many holders claim once and forget, then miss later rounds. Deadlines like this one are easy to overlook. How to stay safe while claiming: • Only use links from MANTRA's official website or official social accounts • Never share your seed phrase. A real claim never asks for it • Be careful with "claim" links in DMs or comments. Fake claim pages are one of the most common scams around token upgrades • If you hold through an exchange, check its announcements, since exchanges often handle migrations for users Have you claimed your latest $OM batch yet? 👇 #MANTRA #RWA #CryptoNews

$BTC vs "anyone can make a coin": Michael Saylor's answer is worth thinking about 💬 The argument critics make: anyone can launch a new cryptocurrency in minutes, so why should Bitcoin be worth anything special? Saylor's reply: that's like saying there's no reason to learn English because anyone can invent a new language. The point behind it: a language is valuable because of how many people already use it, not because it's hard to create one. Bitcoin works the same way: • Millions of holders and years of liquidity • The largest mining network securing it • ETFs, banks and public companies building on it • A fixed supply of 21 million that no one can change A new coin can copy the code, but not the network around it. The other side: critics say network effects can fade, and that Bitcoin still has to prove itself as money, not just as an asset to hold. Saylor's company Strategy holds about 848,500 Bitcoin, and you can follow it through its tokenized stock $MSTRB Does the language analogy convince you? 👇 #Bitcoin #Saylor #CryptoDebate

$USDC and other stablecoins can now pay for street food in Thailand 🇹🇭 Thailand has launched WORPT, a wallet app for foreign visitors: • Tourists convert stablecoins into Thai baht inside the app • They pay local shops by scanning PromptPay QR codes, the same system Thai people use every day • Merchants receive normal baht through standard payment systems, so they never have to touch crypto • It was built by Waan Exchange and Wipay under the Thai SEC's Tourist Digipay regulatory sandbox Why it matters: this is a practical, regulated use of stablecoins in everyday life. Thailand welcomes tens of millions of visitors a year, and many already hold crypto. Letting them spend it directly, without exchange counters or card fees, is a real convenience. It also shows the pattern we're seeing worldwide: regulators are less interested in banning crypto payments and more interested in controlling them through licensed apps and sandboxes. $ENS just announced a big update to how .eth names work 🌐 Ethereum Name Service turns long wallet addresses into readable names like yourname.eth. According to Foresight News, the new update brings: • Hierarchical registries: each domain can work as its own on-chain registry • Permission groups: communities and companies can set custom rules for who gets subdomains and who can manage them • Changes to how names resolve, plus support for sharing record links Why it matters: this makes ENS more useful for organizations, not just individuals. A DAO, a game or a company could hand out names like alice.project.eth to its members, with its own rules, all on-chain. The bigger picture: readable names make sending crypto safer. Copying a name is much harder to mess up than copying a 42-character address, which is exactly what address poisoning scams exploit. Is on-chain identity the next big use case for $ETH ? $BTC traders are focused on the Fed, but Thursday could matter even more 📅 Thursday, Oct 29 (UTC): • 12:30: US September PCE inflation, the Fed's preferred inflation gauge • 12:30: First estimate of Q3 GDP • After the US close: Amazon and Intel earnings Why PCE matters: the Fed raised rates in September because inflation stayed sticky. If PCE comes in hot, talk of another hike in December will grow, and that's usually bad for risk assets. A soft reading would take pressure off. Why GDP matters: strong growth plus high inflation is the combination that keeps rates high. Weak growth could revive hopes of cuts next year. The earnings angle: Intel's tokenized stock $INTCB is already up 2.7% to about 94 going into its report, and Amazon $AMZNB will show how much AI demand is reaching its cloud business. So the week stacks up like this: Fed on Wednesday, inflation and growth data on Thursday morning, then more big tech earnings Thursday night. Volatility may not peak until Thursday. $OSMO jumped about 16% after a plan to burn 100 million tokens 🔥 What's happening: • Osmosis plans to burn 100 million tokens from its community pool • That's roughly 12.6% of the circulating supply, according to Odaily • Price hit 0.067 in the last 24 hours and is now around 0.058 Why burns matter: burning permanently removes tokens from supply. If demand stays the same and supply shrinks, each remaining token represents a bigger share of the network. A 12.6% cut is large compared to most burn programs. What to keep in mind: • A plan isn't the same as a completed burn. Watch for the governance vote and the on-chain transaction • Tokens in a community pool often weren't circulating actively anyway, so the real supply impact may be smaller than the headline • Price already pulled back from the high. Chasing a headline pump is risky Do token burns change how you value a project like $OSMO ? 👇 #Osmosis #Altcoins #CryptoNews

Market Cap, FDV and Token Unlocks: How to Read a Token Before You BuyA token's price on its own tells you almost nothing. A coin at 0.05 dollars isn't necessarily cheap, and a coin at 500 dollars isn't necessarily expensive. To understand what you're really buying, you need to look at supply. Three numbers do most of the work: market cap, fully diluted valuation and the unlock schedule. Market cap: what the market values today Market cap = price × circulating supply. Circulating supply is the number of tokens that can actually be traded right now. Market cap lets you compare projects fairly. A token at 0.05 dollars with 100 billion tokens in circulation is worth 5 billion dollars, which is far from cheap. FDV: what it would be worth with every token out Fully diluted valuation (FDV) = price × maximum supply. Many newer tokens launch with only a small share of their supply in circulation. The rest belongs to the team, early investors and the treasury, and is released over time. FDV shows what the project would be worth at today's price if every token were already out. Example: Token A trades at 1 dollar with 100 million tokens circulating and a maximum supply of 1 billion. Its market cap is 100 million dollars, but its FDV is 1 billion. For the price to simply hold steady as supply grows tenfold, the market would need to absorb a lot of new tokens. Token unlocks: when new supply arrives Locked tokens are released on a schedule called vesting. Two terms are worth knowing: • Cliff: a period where nothing unlocks, followed by a large release all at once. • Linear vesting: tokens unlock gradually, for example every month for two years. Large unlocks can create selling pressure, especially when early investors bought at much lower prices and are sitting on big profits. That's why traders often watch unlock calendars closely in the days before a big release. Supply models of the big coins • $BTC has a hard cap of 21 million coins, and most of them are already mined. New supply is small and falls by half roughly every four years. • $ETH has no fixed maximum supply. New Ether is issued to validators, while part of every transaction fee is burned, so the net supply depends on network activity. • $BNB uses regular burns that permanently remove tokens from circulation, with the goal of gradually reducing total supply over time. For these large coins, market cap and FDV are close together, so there's little hidden supply waiting to hit the market. For many newer tokens, the gap can be huge. A quick checklist before you buy Step 1: Compare market cap and FDV. If FDV is many times larger, a lot of supply is still locked. Step 2: Check the unlock calendar. Are big releases coming in the next few weeks or months? Step 3: See who holds the locked tokens. Team and investor unlocks usually carry more selling risk than community rewards. Step 4: Look at daily trading volume. Can the market realistically absorb new supply? Step 5: Read the project's official token documentation instead of relying on social media summaries. The takeaway A low price per token doesn't mean a bargain, and a strong chart can be undone by a big unlock. Spending five minutes on supply data before you buy is one of the easiest ways to avoid unpleasant surprises. Do you check unlock schedules before buying a new token? Tell us in the comments. This article is for educational purposes only and is not financial advice. Always do your own research.

Market Cap, FDV and Token Unlocks: How to Read a Token Before You Buy

A token's price on its own tells you almost nothing. A coin at 0.05 dollars isn't necessarily cheap, and a coin at 500 dollars isn't necessarily expensive. To understand what you're really buying, you need to look at supply. Three numbers do most of the work: market cap, fully diluted valuation and the unlock schedule.
Market cap: what the market values today

Circulating supply is the number of tokens that can actually be traded right now. Market cap lets you compare projects fairly. A token at 0.05 dollars with 100 billion tokens in circulation is worth 5 billion dollars, which is far from cheap.
FDV: what it would be worth with every token out
Fully diluted valuation (FDV) = price × maximum supply.
Token unlocks: when new supply arrives
Locked tokens are released on a schedule called vesting. Two terms are worth knowing:

Large unlocks can create selling pressure, especially when early investors bought at much lower prices and are sitting on big profits. That's why traders often watch unlock calendars closely in the days before a big release.
Supply models of the big coins

• $ETH has no fixed maximum supply. New Ether is issued to validators, while part of every transaction fee is burned, so the net supply depends on network activity.
• $BNB uses regular burns that permanently remove tokens from circulation, with the goal of gradually reducing total supply over time.
For these large coins, market cap and FDV are close together, so there's little hidden supply waiting to hit the market. For many newer tokens, the gap can be huge.
A quick checklist before you buy
Step 1: Compare market cap and FDV.
The takeaway
A low price per token doesn't mean a bargain, and a strong chart can be undone by a big unlock. Spending five minutes on supply data before you buy is one of the easiest ways to avoid unpleasant surprises.

Dollar-Cost Averaging: A Simple Way to Handle Volatile MarketsTrying to buy at the exact bottom is one of the hardest things in crypto. Even professionals rarely manage it. Dollar-cost averaging, or DCA, is a strategy that removes that pressure. Instead of trying to time the market, you invest a fixed amount on a regular schedule. Here's how it works, with real numbers. How DCA works You choose three things: how much to invest, how often, and for how long. For example, 100 dollars into $BTC on the first day of every month. You buy no matter what the price is doing. When prices are high, your 100 dollars buys less. When prices are low, it buys more. A simple example Imagine investing 100 dollars a month for four months while Bitcoin moves around: • Month one, price 80,000: you get 0.00125 Bitcoin • Month two, price 64,000: you get 0.0015625 Bitcoin • Month three, price 100,000: you get 0.001 Bitcoin • Month four, price 80,000: you get 0.00125 Bitcoin Total invested: 400 dollars. Total bought: 0.0050625 Bitcoin. Your average cost is about 79,000 per coin, even though the average of the four prices was 81,000. That's the key benefit. Because you automatically buy more when prices are low, your average cost tends to land below the simple average price. Why people use DCA • It removes emotion. You don't need to decide whether today is the right day. • It reduces timing risk. One bad entry doesn't define your whole position. • It's easy to stick with. A small, regular amount fits into a monthly budget. • It turns dips into opportunities instead of panic. The limits of DCA DCA isn't magic, and it's worth being honest about the downsides: • It doesn't prevent losses. If an asset falls for years, DCA means buying more of something that keeps dropping. • In a steady uptrend, a single early purchase would usually have done better. • It works best with assets you believe in for the long term. Spreading purchases over time on a weak project just spreads out the mistake. • Fees add up. Very small, very frequent buys can lose a meaningful share to trading fees. How to set up a DCA plan Step 1: Pick an amount you won't need for daily life and could leave invested for years. Step 2: Choose a schedule: weekly or monthly is common. Many people match it to payday. Step 3: Choose your assets. Many people DCA into large, established coins like Bitcoin and $ETH rather than small, highly volatile tokens. Step 4: Automate it. Recurring buy features on exchanges like Binance can place the purchases for you, so you don't have to remember. Step 5: Review it a few times a year, not every day. Checking prices constantly is the fastest way to abandon the plan. The takeaway DCA won't make you rich overnight, and it won't protect you from a bad investment. What it does well is help you build a position steadily, stay calm in volatile markets and avoid the trap of waiting for the perfect moment that never comes. Market, Limit and Stop Orders Explained: How to Trade With a PlanMany new traders only ever press the "buy" button at whatever price is showing. That works, but it often means paying more than you need to and having no plan for when things go wrong. Knowing the main order types gives you control over your price, your fees and your risk. Here's a simple guide using spot trading as the example. Market order: speed first A market order buys or sells immediately at the best price available. • Good for: getting in or out fast when speed matters more than price. • Watch out for: slippage. In fast markets or on small coins with thin order books, you can get filled at a worse price than the one you saw. Limit order: price first A limit order lets you choose the exact price you want. A buy limit only fills at your price or lower, and a sell limit only fills at your price or higher. Example: $BTC is trading at 80,800 and you'd like to buy closer to support. You can place a buy limit at 79,500. If price dips there, your order fills. If it doesn't, you simply don't buy. • Good for: buying dips, selling into strength and controlling your exact price. • Watch out for: price may never reach your level, so you can miss a move. Stop-limit order: your safety net A stop-limit order stays hidden until price hits a trigger level, called the stop price. Once triggered, it places a limit order at the price you chose. Example: you bought at 80,000 and don't want to lose more than about 5%. You can set a stop price at 76,100 and a limit price at 76,000. If price falls to 76,100, your sell order is placed automatically. • Good for: protecting a position while you're asleep or away from the screen. • Watch out for: in a very fast drop, price can skip past your limit and the order may not fill. Leave a small gap from the stop price to the limit price. OCO order: two orders, one outcome OCO stands for "one cancels the other." It combines a take-profit limit order and a stop-limit order. When one fills, the other is cancelled automatically. Example: you hold a coin bought at 80,000. You set a sell limit at 88,000 to take profit and a stop at 76,000 to limit losses. Whichever level is hit first decides the outcome, and you don't need to watch the chart all day. Maker vs taker: how order type affects fees When your order fills instantly against existing orders, you are a taker. When your order sits on the order book and waits to be filled, you are a maker. Market orders are always taker orders. Limit orders placed away from the current price are usually maker orders. On many exchanges, maker fees are lower than taker fees, so patient limit orders can save money over time. On Binance, paying fees with $BNB can also give you a fee discount. Check the current rates on the fee page for your account level. Which order should you use? Step 1: Need to act right now? Use a market order, but avoid it on illiquid coins. Step 2: Have a target price? Use a limit order and let the market come to you. Step 3: Holding a position? Add a stop-limit so a bad move can't take more than you planned. Step 4: Want both a target and protection? Use an OCO order. The takeaway Order types are some of the simplest risk tools you have. How to Read Candlestick Charts: A Beginner's Guide to Price ActionOpen any chart for $BTC or any other coin and you'll see rows of green and red bars. These are candlesticks, and they're the most popular way to show price movement. Once you can read them, a chart stops looking like noise and starts telling a story about buyers and sellers. What one candle shows Each candle covers a fixed period of time, such as 1 hour, 4 hours or 1 day. It shows four prices: • Open: the price at the start of the period • Close: the price at the end of the period • High: the highest price reached • Low: the lowest price reached The thick part is the body, which runs from the open to the close. A green body means price closed higher than it opened. A red body means it closed lower. The thin lines above and below are called wicks or shadows, and they show how far price traveled before pulling back. What the shape tells you • Big body, small wicks: one side was clearly in control for that whole period. • Small body, long wicks: buyers and sellers fought hard, and nobody won. This often signals indecision. • Long lower wick: sellers pushed price down, but buyers stepped in and pushed it back up. • Long upper wick: buyers pushed price up, but sellers rejected the move. Four patterns worth knowing • Doji: open and close are almost the same, forming a cross shape. It shows indecision, especially after a strong trend. • Hammer: a small body at the top with a long lower wick, appearing after a drop. It suggests buyers are starting to defend a level. • Shooting star: a small body at the bottom with a long upper wick, appearing after a rise. It suggests sellers are pushing back. • Engulfing: a candle whose body completely covers the previous candle's body in the opposite color. A green engulfing candle after a decline can hint at a reversal, and a red one after a rally can hint at weakness. Context matters more than the pattern A single candle means very little on its own. What gives it weight is where it appears: • At support or resistance: a hammer at a level where price bounced before is far more meaningful than one in the middle of nowhere. • With volume: a reversal candle on high volume shows real participation. On low volume, it can be easily ignored. • On higher timeframes: a daily candle carries more weight than a 5-minute candle, because more money and time went into forming it. A simple way to practice Step 1: Open a daily chart of $ETH or Bitcoin and mark the obvious highs and lows from the past few months. Step 2: Look at the candles that formed at those levels. Notice the wicks, the body sizes and the volume. Step 3: Scroll forward one candle at a time and guess what happens next before you look. Step 4: Write down what worked and what didn't. Patterns become useful only after you've seen them play out many times. Common beginner mistakes • Acting on a candle before it closes. A candle that looks like a hammer halfway through can look completely different at the close. • Seeing patterns everywhere. If you search hard enough, you'll find one on every chart. • Ignoring the bigger trend. A bullish candle inside a strong downtrend is often just a pause. • Trading without a plan. How to Read Candlestick Charts: A Beginner's Guide to Price Action

Open any chart for $BTC or any other coin and you'll see rows of green and red bars. These are candlesticks, and they're the most popular way to show price movement. Once you can read them, a chart stops looking like noise and starts telling a story about buyers and sellers.

Stablecoins Explained: How Digital Dollars Keep Their ValueStablecoins are the quiet engine of crypto. Most trades on exchanges are priced in them, and hundreds of billions of dollars in payments move through them every year. But what actually keeps a stablecoin worth one dollar, and what can go wrong? Here is a simple guide. What is a stablecoin? A stablecoin is a token designed to hold a steady value, usually one US dollar. It gives traders a stable unit inside crypto, so they can step out of volatile coins without leaving the blockchain or waiting for a bank transfer. The three main types • Fiat-backed: each token is backed by cash and short-term government bonds held by the issuer. $USDC is a well-known example. This is the most widely used model. • Crypto-backed: users lock up more crypto than the stablecoins they create. For example, 150 dollars of Ether might be locked to mint 100 dollars of stablecoins. The extra cushion protects the peg if prices fall. • Algorithmic: these try to hold the peg with code and incentives instead of full reserves. History shows this is the most fragile model, and several have collapsed. How the peg holds Fiat-backed stablecoins rely on redemption. If a token trades at 0.99, large holders can buy it cheaply and redeem it with the issuer for a full dollar, which pushes the price back up. If it trades at 1.01, they can create new tokens for one dollar and sell them, which pushes it back down. This constant arbitrage keeps the price very close to one dollar. What can go wrong • Reserve risk: if the backing assets are low quality or not fully there, confidence can break quickly. • Bank risk: reserves are held at banks, and a problem at one bank can affect the token for a while. • Depegs: during market stress, a stablecoin can trade below one dollar for hours or even days. • Freezes: issuers of centralized stablecoins can freeze tokens linked to crime or court orders. Why regulation matters now Clear rules are arriving fast. In the US, the GENIUS Act sets standards for reserves and redemptions, and the OCC has finalized issuer rules that take effect in January 2027. Canada has published draft rules requiring 1:1 reserves and redemption within three business days. Clear rules make it easier for banks and payment companies to use stablecoins, which is why more traditional banks are now launching their own digital money products. How people use stablecoins Step 1: Park profits during volatile periods without cashing out to a bank. Step 2: Trade pairs like $BTC against a dollar-pegged token, so profits and losses are easy to track. Step 3: Send money across borders in minutes, often for a fraction of a traditional transfer fee. Step 4: Pay merchants. Countries like Thailand are now testing apps that let visitors pay local shops with stablecoins. Quick checklist before holding a stablecoin • Who issues it, and where is the issuer regulated? • Does the issuer publish regular reserve reports or audits? • How deep is its liquidity on major exchanges? • Has it held its peg during past market stress? The takeaway Stablecoins are simple on the surface but only as strong as what stands behind them. Stablecoins Explained: How Digital Dollars Keep Their Value

Stablecoins are the quiet engine of crypto.
The three main types
• Fiat-backed: each token is backed by cash and short-term government bonds held by the issuer.
How the peg holds
Fiat-backed stablecoins rely on redemption.
What can go wrong
• Reserve risk: if the backing assets are low quality or not fully there, confidence can break quickly.
Why regulation matters now
Clear rules are arriving fast. In the US, the GENIUS Act sets standards for reserves and redemptions, and the OCC has finalized issuer rules that take effect in January 2027. Canada has published draft rules requiring 1:1 reserves and redemption within three business days.
Quick checklist before holding a stablecoin
• Who issues it, and where is the issuer regulated?
• Does the issuer publish regular reserve reports or audits?
• How deep is its liquidity on major exchanges?
• Has it held its peg during past market stress?

Stablecoins are simple on the surface but only as strong as what stands behind them. Understanding reserves, redemption and regulation helps you choose the ones you trust with your money.
