Strive just dropped a statement quarter — and the Bitcoin treasury race has a new challenger closing in on No. 2.
🔹 THE NUMBERS Strive (Nasdaq: ASST) bought 15,124 BTC in October alone, lifting its treasury to 43,124 BTC, worth roughly $3.25B. That includes a single $511M buy of 6,182 BTC on Oct 26. Q3 net income hit $509M, powered by $533.7M in unrealized Bitcoin gains.
🔹 WHY IT MATTERS Strive is now the 4th-largest public corporate Bitcoin holder — just 390 BTC behind Twenty One Capital and only 877 BTC short of Metaplanet at No. 2. The race for the No. 2 spot is now a matter of weeks, not quarters. The buying was funded largely by a $609M raise via 15% SATS preferred stock — aggressive, expensive capital chasing Bitcoin exposure.
🔹 THE RISK That $509M profit is paper gains. If BTC rolls over, it reverses just as fast — and 15% preferred dividends are a heavy price to pay for leverage. Treasury momentum is real, but it cuts both ways.
Corporate treasuries keep stacking while BTC holds ~$76K. The question is who blinks first — the buyers, or the market? 🐂 or 🐻 — drop your take below.

🔑 CRYPTO IS KNOCKING ON AMERICA'S $10.8 TRILLION RETIREMENT DOOR
The US Department of Labor has sent its final rule opening 401(k) plans to crypto and other alternative assets to the White House for final review. The Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs logged the package on November 5 under RIN 1210-AC38, "Fiduciary Duties In Selecting Designated Investment Alternatives". OIRA review is the last checkpoint before publication in the Federal Register.
🔹 WHAT IT DOES The rule gives plan fiduciaries a legal safe harbor for adding actively managed vehicles holding digital assets, private equity and real estate to 401(k) menus, through a documented six-factor process covering performance, fees, liquidity, valuation, benchmarks and complexity. It follows President Trump's August 7, 2025 executive order and the DOL's March proposal, which rescinded the 2022 guidance that told fiduciaries to exercise "extreme care" before touching crypto.
🔹 WHY IT MATTERS Americans hold $10.8 trillion in 401(k) plans. Even a 2% allocation would mean roughly $216 billion of potential fresh inflows. Retirement money moves slowly, but once it moves, it stays. This is structural demand, not a headline pump.
⚠️ HONEST RISKS The final text is not public yet, OIRA has no deadline, and review can take weeks. No plan is forced to offer crypto, and no dollar flows until the rule is published and employers actually adopt it. Do not price this in as done.
The door to America's retirement savings is opening. Slowly, but it is opening.
🐂 or 🐻: does 401(k) money change Bitcoin's game, or is this priced in already?

Wall Street just suffered one of its worst sessions since April 2025. The Nasdaq plunged more than 5%, the S&P 500 fell over 3%, and the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index crashed as much as 11%, its worst day since March 2020.
The trigger: fears the new Democratic Congress will slow AI data-center construction, weak Qualcomm results, and fresh Fed hike expectations. Nvidia fell ~7%, AMD and Micron double digits, Tesla nearly 10%.
Crypto did not escape. $BTC broke below $77,000 to around $75,500, a seven-week low, erasing Wednesday's entire post-election rally. Around $370M in leveraged longs were liquidated in a single hour.
This is the other side of the trade: the election rally was fast, and reversals are faster. The $75K zone is now the line in the sand, a daily close below it opens $72K-$73K.

The Bank of England just raised rates to 4.00%, up from 3.75% — its first hike since August 2023.
The vote was 8-1, and the dissent was not dovish: one member wanted a bigger 50bps hike to 4.25%. The message is clear — inflation is the priority again.
🔹 WHY IT MATTERS The BoE now sees UK inflation hitting ~5% by mid-2027, more than double its 2% target, driven by the Middle East energy shock. It warned more hikes are likely if the US-Iran conflict continues. Inflation is not forecast back to 2% until Q3 2028.
🔹 WHAT IT MEANS FOR CRYPTO Central banks are turning hawkish again while risk assets are already bleeding — Nasdaq just entered correction territory and $BTC slipped under $76K. Higher-for-longer rates in a major economy drain liquidity and punish leverage first. The BoE is not the Fed, so the direct impact is limited, but the direction of travel is global: if the Fed follows this hawkish tone, risk assets face a harder winter.
⚠️ Risk: this is a UK move, not a Fed move. Don't over-trade a London headline — watch the Fed and oil next.

🔐 CHAINALYSIS BREACH ESCALATES — ALL USERS EXPOSED
The firm that tracks crypto hackers just got hacked — and the damage is far worse than first admitted.
Chainalysis confirmed on Nov 4 that names, usernames, password hashes and LIVE session tokens for ALL users were exposed to a malicious actor. An "on-path attack" also exposed a subset of customer passwords. After detecting abnormal activity, the firm took its KYT screening tools, address screening products and login page offline.
This is bigger than one company. Chainalysis is the compliance backbone for exchanges, banks and law enforcement worldwide. With live tokens exposed and screening tools down, the industry's front line against dirty money is blind while service is restored.
The firm says no investigation data was accessed and no attribution data was manipulated — but that assurance now sits next to an Oct 30 statement that said no credentials were touched at all. Chainalysis stresses the incident is unrelated to the Binance theft.
⚠️ If you hold a Chainalysis account, reset your password and rotate API keys now. Exposed tokens plus offline screening is exactly the window launderers exploit.

South Korea just handed its traders two more tax-free years. Finance Minister Lee Hyoung-il announced today the government will push the 22% tax on crypto gains from January 2027 to 2029 — the FOURTH delay since the tax was legislated in 2020.
Why it matters: Korea is one of the world's biggest retail crypto markets. A 22% tax on gains above 2.5M won (~$1,870) was due to hit in just two months. That overhang is now gone, and the government is even proposing a 3-year loss carryforward for investors.
The official reason: aligning with the US-Korea crypto tax information exchange (CARF) starting in 2029.
⚠️ The catch: this still needs National Assembly approval — it is a proposal, not law yet. And the government flipped barely a month after insisting the January start would hold, so policy credibility is a fair question.
Still, for Korean traders and $BTC flows out of Seoul, this is a clear near-term tailwind. 🐂 or 🐻 — does a tax delay change anything for you?
