Partly True
Many people think that BTC-native assets lack liquidity, but the real issue is that there hasn’t been a decent order book that brings people together. This week, Unisat pushed Hexa forward by a big step: All the pre-application addresses are fully whitelisted—three Runes were opened for trading first, then BRC-20 follows, and the ORDI official has also responded with “coming soon.” At the same time, they started calling in market makers, and also dropped a 4-week light task campaign starting September 22, with rewards on FB—limited spots. This set of moves is very much like their usual style: first get whatever can run running, then build liquidity by stacking campaigns and assets. For retail users, it means two things: (1) you finally don’t have to keep buying and selling across a pile of fragmented markets; (2) early active addresses may be able to catch the first-week tasks, and the whitelist afterward is still worth keeping an eye on. Non-custodial, real trading on the mainnet, Runes first then BRC-20—Unisat wallet’s user flow can connect directly too. If you brothers want to play, first follow UniHexa and go check the order book on the beta yourself.$ORDI #unihexa #BRC20

I just finished reviewing UniHexa’s trading data the other day—the trading volume is indeed still in the early stage. Now the official team is starting to get to work. Starting September 22nd, for four consecutive weeks, tasks will be available from Tuesday to Saturday each week. After completing them, you can receive FB rewards. The first week will be for early active users, and later the activity will open to a whitelist. The official team is also recruiting market makers, which clearly suggests they want to pull both users and the buy/sell order books together. This approach is fine. FB rewards can help bring people into UniHexa—but whether they stay will depend on order-book depth, trading volume, and the overall trading experience. I’ll keep an eye on whether there are any significant changes in the trading data once the activities begin. #unihexa #FB #Bitcoin

UniHexa rewards campaign is about to begin. The event starts on September 22 at 14:00 and runs for 4 weeks. Tasks will be posted every Tuesday through Saturday each week. Complete the tasks and submit them before the daily quota is filled to receive FB rewards. The first week is for active addresses from the Early Access snapshot taken before the announcement. Weeks two through four are for users on the event whitelist; the specific method to obtain the whitelist will be announced later. This time, UniHexa also directly invites market makers and community partners to participate—the goal is very clear: to increase users, trading activity, and liquidity. I’m particularly concerned about whether the tasks are related to real order placements and executed trades. Only if the number of orders and trade volume can keep increasing during the event will these 4 weeks truly have an impact. #unihexa #UniSat #FB #bitcoin

UniHexa has been expanding the whitelist for almost 3 days now. I took a look at the current data. Here’s the conclusion straight away: Trading is enabled, but the market hasn’t really taken off yet. At the moment, there are only 3 Runes trading pairs. $DOG’s 24-hour trading volume is 0.00649642 BTC, about $492, and the page shows a market cap close to $95M. MIM and UNCOMMON•GOODS both have a 24-hour trading volume of 0. In the screenshot, the most recent few trades of $DOG are only around $7 to $10. This indicates that the product workflow really has been running and genuine trades are starting to appear. But the problem is equally clear. For an asset with a market cap close to $95M, there are only a few hundred dollars worth of trades in a day. With this level of liquidity, retail investors can buy in easily, but when they want to sell, there may not be someone to take the other side. UniHexa can only be said to have completed the first step for now—it’s not fair to say the market has already been built. The limited number of whitelisted users and the small number of trading pairs are objective reasons. Next, it still needs to continue opening up users and adding assets, and then bring in the project team and market-making funds. If you’re in the whitelist, you can test with a small amount—there’s no need to go heavy. Going forward, I’ll only watch three data points: When BRC-20 goes live, how many trading pairs can be added, and whether the 24-hour trading volume can keep increasing continuously. #unihexa #UniSat #bitcoin #runes

UniHexa has started letting people in this time. Users who previously applied through the website or official channels have now all been added to the whitelist. Currently, it supports 3 types of Runes: UNCOMMON•GOODS, $DOG, and $MIM. BRC-20 will be added later as well. What UniHexa does is native Bitcoin asset trading. It supports multiple protocols, and the assets are controlled by users themselves. We’re still in the early stage. If you’re on the whitelist, you can try running the process with a small amount first to see whether order placement, execution, and withdrawals are smooth. What I’m most concerned about is when BRC-20 will go live, and which coins the first batch will support. #unihexa #UniSat #bitcoin #Runes

There are many projects in the Bitcoin ecosystem—during the Mint, a bunch of people rush to get in. After the Mint ends, once the coins are in hand, many people haven’t figured out how to proceed with many projects. In the end, there are no takers for the limit orders, the hype gradually dies down, and the projects also lose momentum. So issuance is only about producing the coins—the subsequent trading is what determines how long this coin can stay relevant and playable. That’s exactly the segment UniHexa wants to tackle. By using the order book and on-chain settlement, it provides a place to continue trading Bitcoin assets after the Mint ends. The project team can maintain its own market, and holders also get an additional entry point to buy and sell. This direction is quite practical. The Bitcoin ecosystem isn’t short of token/coin issuance—what it lacks is people who are still willing to keep buying and selling after the coin is issued. #unihexa #UniSat #bitcoin

Where will the next bull run on Bitcoin come from? Could it be in the Bitcoin ecosystem—who will be the one to really take off? It might be BRC-20 coming back again, or it could be Runes. Whether a new protocol will appear next—no one really knows. That’s also why I’m paying attention to UniHexa. Projects can chase the latest trends, but the trading entry needs to be prepared in advance. As long as there are still new assets coming out on the Bitcoin on-chain, and there are people buying and selling them, the market will need a more convenient place to trade. UniHexa is aiming at order-book matching and on-chain settlement. What they’re doing now is a bit like building a road ahead of time. You don’t know when the market will heat up, but you can pave the road first. When the next wave of Bitcoin asset momentum returns, whether UniHexa can capture these trading users. #unihexa #unisat的swap #Bitcoin

To trade with UniHexa, you need to first transfer assets such as BTC and Runes to a dedicated Trading Address. This address preserves the path for users to transfer assets out individually; the system handles order matching and on-chain settlement. Available assets can be withdrawn back to the original wallet at any time. I’m particularly interested in this design. Leave the trading experience to the platform, and users also keep themselves an exit route. #unihexa #unisat的swap #Bitcoin

UniHexa uses an order-book trading model, and its operation is fairly similar to the exchanges most of us use. After users connect their wallet, the system generates a dedicated Trading Address. Transfer assets such as BTC and Runes to this address, then submit a signed limit buy order or sell order. Orders are matched by price priority first, then time priority. The order only gets filled if someone is willing to trade at your price. For retail users, the benefits are that you can set your own price and also see how many buy orders and sell orders are in the market. Whether the order book is deep or whether this coin is easy to sell seems more direct. #unihexa #bitcoin #Runes $BTC {spot}(BTCUSDT)

Go back to UniSat’s tweet introducing Hexa for the first time in February 2025—the route was already pretty clear back then. On Bitcoin there’s BRC20, Runes, Taproot Assets, and native stablecoins; everyone plays their own game, and the trading entry points are also quite scattered. UniHexa plans to put these assets into a single marketplace, letting users manage their assets themselves, with a buy/sell experience as close to an exchange as possible. Retail traders don’t care as much about how much technology is involved—what matters is that it’s easy to buy, easy to sell, and that there are people ready to take the other side. This early tweet is about UniHexa. What I saw was UniSat’s strategy: the wallet brings users in, the marketplace provides the assets, and UniHexa handles the trading. They said they’d start small and scale up. Looking at it now, it really isn’t just talk. #unihexa #UniSat #bitcoin #BRC20

In February 2025, UniSat first unveiled Hexa. At the time, it said: “Start small, then build bigger.” It wants to bring the quick, convenient order-experience from exchanges over to Bitcoin assets—while still letting users retain control of their assets. BRC20, Runes, Taproot Assets, and native stablecoins are all being set up to plug into the same trading market. When I re-read this tweet, it became clear that what UniSat is targeting is the fact that Bitcoin asset liquidity is too fragmented. Each protocol does its own thing, and users and funds are separated. UniHexa wants to bring these assets together into a single order book. If this gets done, UniSat will hold the wallet, the market, and the trading entry point for Bitcoin assets all at once. “Start small” is true—and so is the ambition. #unihexa #UniSat #bitcoin #BRC20

I recently looked into UniHexa. From my understanding, this is meant to make token trading on Bitcoin feel more like using a normal exchange. Assets like BRC-20, Runes, Alkanes, and Ordinals used to be pretty cumbersome to trade. You had to search for markets everywhere, place orders, wait for fills—when the market got active, it really was a hassle. UniHexa uses an order book model. You set the price and whether you’re buying or selling, and the system handles matching. Orders that haven’t filled yet will remain on the market, and you can view and modify them at any time. What the official calls “CEX-level performance + DEX-style self-custody” simply means that the matching speed is as fast as possible, and the assets remain under your control. Here you need to be clear: after an order shows as filled, the assets still have to wait for on-chain confirmation before they arrive. UniHexa is still in the invitation-only testing stage. For now it’s running on Fractal; later it plans to move to the Bitcoin mainnet. #unihexa #UniSat #Bitcoin
