Privy is expanding support for TRON, making it even easier for users to enter Web3 ๐ป
@TRON DAO announced that Privy is deepening its integration with the TRON network, giving developers a more complete toolkit to build wallets, payments, and financial applications on TRON, including transaction creation and broadcasting, monitoring, policy controls, and transfer APIs.
What stands out to me is that Privy provides infrastructure for embedded wallets and lets apps offer login experiences through familiar methods like email or social accounts.
That means new users do not have to begin with the usual crypto-native steps such as installing a wallet, writing down a seed phrase, or learning the full wallet flow before they can start using apps on TRON.
If developers apply this kind of infrastructure to payments, stablecoins, or consumer apps, it could significantly reduce one of the biggest barriers to bringing mainstream users into the TRON ecosystem.
This isn't only about easier login. This expanded integration also supports use cases like stablecoin payments and treasury operations, with companies such as Onafriq and Paystack already using Privy + TRON for wallet and treasury solutions.
Privy also mentioned that more capabilities are planned in the future, including gas sponsorship, unified digital asset accounts, swaps, and x402 payments.
TRON already has a large user base. What it is doing now is making it easier for the next wave of users to come on-chain ๐ป
