Hyperliquid gets its own Layer 2 tomorrow — and the gas token is $HYPE, not a new airdrop coin. Kinetiq's Elysium mainnet is scheduled for November 9. It is a general-purpose L2 for the Hyperliquid ecosystem: it settles to HyperEVM, uses HYPE bridged 1:1 as gas, and targets 100-millisecond blocks. Two details matter more than the date. - 25% of sequencer revenue goes to builders whose apps use the blockspace. That pays people to ship products, not just announce them. - The full HyperCore market-data and order hooks are slated for about four weeks after launch. Day one is the chain going live, not the complete trading stack. $HYPE is not pricing this like a pre-launch melt-up. It last traded around $77.31 on Binance, down about 2.4% over 24 hours, between $76.84 and $79.27. $BTC is similarly quiet near $75,866, down about 0.2%. My take: a mainnet with empty blockspace is just another announcement. The real test is whether apps keep using HYPE as gas after the first 48 hours — and again when those HyperCore hooks actually ship. Would you rather hold $HYPE through November 9, or wait for real usage first? $HYPE $BTC #BinanceSquare #Hyperliquid #Elysium #HYPE #Layer2 Not financial advice.

The Whale Short Build That’s Reaching Multi-Month Extremes🤞 Glassnode data shows Hyperliquid whales’ Bitcoin short positions have climbed to their highest level since October 2025. The buildup points to elevated bearish conviction among large traders on the platform. Heavy short concentration can amplify short-term volatility. If price moves higher, the crowded positioning raises the potential for a squeeze; if downward pressure continues, the shorts may remain profitable. Either way, the reading adds another layer to current Bitcoin sentiment as traders watch for the next directional catalyst. $BTC $HYPE #CoinVahini #Bitcoin #Hyperliquid #WhaleWatching

$HYPE unlock day came. Everyone waited for the dump. It never came. 180,000 HYPE unlocked to core contributors on Nov 6. Price held $77, bounced to $79.60, now sitting near $78. Look at the 30-day chart: this coin already swung from $76.25 (Oct 26) to $89.90 (Oct 31) and back down to ~$78. The market priced in a fear that was bigger than the event. The real overhang is still out there — Paradigm's 2.55M HYPE unstake, ~$200M, with no confirmed sale. That's the one to watch, not the unlock that already happened. I'm running a spot grid $77–87. Range-bound play, not a moon bet. If $77 breaks properly, I'm wrong and I stop. Are you buying the fear, or waiting for $77 to break?#hype #Hyperliquid #Write2Earn #Crypto

$HYPE is in focus because Hyperliquid Strategies, the biggest public HYPE treasury firm, just applied to become a US futures broker, which could open permissioned perps to American traders. HYPE dipped about 7% from near $82 to $76 and sits around $78, down about 13% on the week. 📉 I'm neutral for now. The access story is real, but their $620.6M quarterly profit is mostly paper gains on their own HYPE bag, and approval has no timeline. Support for me is $76, where price bounced. Resistance is $82. If $76 holds and we reclaim $82, $85 is the next level I'd watch. If $76 breaks, that idea is off the table and $75 is next. Does a US futures license really bring fresh volume, or is it already priced in? #HYPE #Hyperliquid #Binance The pump is easy to see. The reason and the next move are not. 🔍 $HYPE : THE FOUNDATION IS REAL. $HYPE is trading around $77.60, down roughly 1.1% on the day. But the bigger picture is worth watching: HYPE perpetuals carry around $1.73B in open interest on Hyperliquid, placing it third behind only $BTC and ETH. That's a meaningful level of activity. However, there's a bigger challenge ahead: can other apps do more than integrate with the ecosystem? Can they actually route value back to it? Real usage matters. But sustainable value capture matters just as much. That's the part I'm watching most closely. #HYPE #Hyperliquid

Locked HYPE is not trading at a discount. That is the story. Consensus: nine days of shut withdrawals, coins trapped, unlock day the supply bomb. Then why is the trapped coin bid? $HYPE last traded 77.73 on Binance versus a 77.65 cross-venue reference — above, not below, nine days into a sell-only valve. Because Binance is not where HYPE prices. Its HYPE book turned 20.0M dollars in 24 hours against 559M across venues — 3.6% of the flow — and its turnover runs 52% under its own week average while $BTC's runs 67% under. The frozen book held up better than the free one. I am waiting, not for the unlock: reopening moves 3.6% of the flow, not the price. $XRP is down 7.3% on the week, $HYPE 11.7% — beta, not a trapped queue. I am wrong if, 48 hours after withdrawals reopen, Binance's HYPE share doubles past 7% while price prints a lower low. Data as of today. Not financial advice. The landscape of decentralized perpetual trading is shifting rapidly, and Hyperliquid is currently taking center stage. If you have been following on-chain metrics recently, you likely noticed the massive surge in volume and user migration toward this novel platform. But what is driving all the momentum? Unlike traditional DEXs that rely on Automated Market Makers or run as smart contracts on general-purpose Layer 2s, Hyperliquid is a custom-built Layer 1 application chain optimized specifically for a fully on-chain orderbook. Powered by a custom consensus mechanism, it delivers sub-second block finality and can handle up to 100,000 transactions per second. The result is a trading experience that feels as fast and responsive as a top-tier centralized exchange, while allowing users to maintain full self-custody. One of the biggest recent catalysts for the ecosystem is the introduction of HyperEVM. By integrating Ethereum Virtual Machine compatibility directly into its high-performance L1, Hyperliquid is expanding beyond a perpetual trading venue into a full-fledged financial hub. Developers can now build decentralized applications that interact directly with the platform's native liquidity and orderbook, opening the door for automated vault strategies, structured products, and novel financial primitives. Additionally, Hyperliquid has built a loyal user base by prioritizing product performance over aggressive marketing. Its architecture eliminates gas fees for standard execution and offers deep liquidity across dozens of pairs, allowing it to regularly process billions in daily trading volume. As the market continues to demand high-throughput, low-latency decentralized infrastructure, Hyperliquid serves as a compelling case study for app-specific blockchains. Whether you are a trader looking for minimal execution drag or a developer building next-generation DeFi products, this project is definitely one to watch closely. #Hyperliquid #DeFi #CryptoTrends

Everyone keeps calling Hyperliquid the future of regulated perps — so why is $HYPE the one sliding? It's near $77.31, down about 1.2% today and roughly 12% below the $88 area it held a week ago, on $547M in volume. The news flow hasn't slowed: the CFTC cleared equity perps on Nov 3, Hyperliquid Strategies filed to register as an FCM, and Kraken's parent Payward is set to be the first CFTC-regulated HIP-3 deployer. Even the Nov 6 unlock scare was smaller than feared — only 180,000 tokens actually went out, not the 9.92M on the trackers. $BTC is flat near $75,708 meanwhile, so this isn't the market dragging it down. I'm watching $75: hold it and the regulated-perps story gets a second look; lose it and this slide likely has further to go. Reclaim $80 and the tone flips fast. Which side are you on — is this a dip to watch or a warning to respect? #Hyperliquid #CryptoMarket #CryptoContent

$HYPE is down 12% in 7 days. Would you put $500 in at 77, or is it too early? None of the 7 majors I track is green on the week. HYPE took the biggest hit: from 88.10 a week ago to 77.47 now, with the 7d low at 76.25 printed in the Nov 5 flush. Since then it's been going sideways in a tight 77–80 box. The case for buying: price is sitting just above the weekly low, sellers look tired, and 24h volume (~$20M) is about half the 7-day daily average. Quiet bleeding into support is often where swing entries get built. The case for waiting: every bounce this week was sold, it hasn't reclaimed 80, and low volume can just as easily mean nobody wants it yet. Losing 76.25 would open more downside, and HYPE moves fast in both directions. What would you do: buy here, wait for a reclaim of 80, or wait for a break below 76? Not financial advice. #Hyperliquid #CryptoTrading #Altcoins

21,000 HYPE Burned in a Day, Price Still Down 12%: What Perp DEX Traders Are MissingHyperliquid bought back and burned 21,040 HYPE over the last 24 hours, roughly $1.66M at an average of $78.90 (Onchain Lens data, reported by ChainCatcher this morning). Yet $HYPE is still sitting near $77, down 12.2% over seven days. Meanwhile $BTC lost only 2.5% over the same window. So what's going on with the flagship perp DEX token? The tape first (Binance spot, this hour) HYPE trades at $77.27, -2.1% on the day, with a 24h range of $77.23–$79.68. In other words, it's printing near the session low. The 7-day range is $76.25–$89.08, and the 90-day low on Binance is $74.45. Spot volume is about $22M over 24h, around 40% below its 30-day daily average of ~$38M. The selling isn't loud. Buyers just aren't stepping up either. The bigger divergence is on the 90-day view. BTC is up 18.4% over 90 days. HYPE is down 16.1%. On a 30-day view the two are almost level (HYPE -8.3%, BTC -7.4%), so most of this week's damage is HYPE-specific underperformance on top of a soft market. Why buybacks are a brake, not an engine Hyperliquid routes protocol revenue to its Assistance Fund, which buys HYPE on the open market. According to CryptoTicker (citing DefiLlama), protocol revenue was about $17M over the last 7 days and about $69M over 30 days. The fund holds roughly 48.7M HYPE. That's real, steady demand. But at today's prices, a day of revenue only buys around 30–35k HYPE. When leveraged traders unwind, that flow gets swamped fast. Buybacks set a slow floor under the price over months, not an hourly bounce. Expecting the burn to "save" the chart this week misreads how the mechanism works. The leverage angle CryptoTicker also reported HYPE perp open interest of about $1.71B, with funding positive in every hour of the past week. Positive funding through a 12% drop means longs kept paying to stay in while price fell. That's exactly the setup that turns a support break into a cascade if $76 gives way. On the flip side, if price holds and those longs get shaken out slowly, positioning gets cleaner for the next move. What perp DEX traders should watch 1. $76.25, this week's low. A clean 4h close below it opens the 90-day low near $74.45. 2. Volume. A bounce on spot volume back above the ~$38M daily average would mean real buyers. A bounce on thin volume is just short covering. 3. Funding. A flip to negative while price holds support would be the first sign the crowd has finally capitulated. 4. BTC. HYPE has been a high-beta follower this week. If BTC loses $74.9k (its 7-day low), don't expect HYPE to be the exception. The bigger picture The perp DEX thesis hasn't broken. Hyperliquid still generates meaningful revenue and recycles it into its own token, which few projects can say. But fundamentals and price run on different clocks. Right now the market is pricing leverage risk, not revenue. HYPE is volatile and can move 10%+ in days in either direction. Size accordingly. Are you treating $76 as a level to defend or a level to wait below? Not financial advice. #Hyperliquid #PerpDEX #CryptoAnalysis

21,000 HYPE Burned in a Day, Price Still Down 12%: What Perp DEX Traders Are Missing

Hyperliquid bought back and burned 21,040 HYPE over the last 24 hours, roughly $1.66M at an average of $78.90 (Onchain Lens data, reported by ChainCatcher this morning). Yet $HYPE is still sitting near $77, down 12.2% over seven days. Meanwhile $BTC lost only 2.5% over the same window. So what's going on with the flagship perp DEX token?
The tape first (Binance spot, this hour)
HYPE trades at $77.27, -2.1% on the day, with a 24h range of $77.23–$79.68.
Why buybacks are a brake, not an engine
Hyperliquid routes protocol revenue to its Assistance Fund, which buys HYPE on the open market.
The leverage angle
CryptoTicker also reported HYPE perp open interest of about $1.71B, with funding positive in every hour of the past week. Positive funding through a 12% drop means longs kept paying to stay in while price fell. That's exactly the setup that turns a support break into a cascade if $76 gives way. On the flip side, if price holds and those longs get shaken out slowly, positioning gets cleaner for the next move.
