We kicked our most active traders. Profit went up.

Seven wallets did 100–1,300 fills per day. On our size, each fill hits the $5 minimum order and pays taker fees. Net effect for the copier: −$87 with $24 in fees, while the masters themselves were positive. Speed is not copyable.

Gate we added: median fill size ≥ 0.2 % of the master's capital, and ≤ 50 % of episodes shorter than one hour.

Account: $5,000 → $4,992.78 (-0.14 %). Max drawdown -0.25 %.
Closed legs: 2 winners / 1 losers, realized +0.71, fees $5.19, funding +0.02.
Orders: 27 executed, 78 skipped by the rules (never join a master's existing position, per-pair and account caps, minimum size).

Two weeks of copy-trading Hyperliquid swing traders on Binance Futures. Honest numbers, no cherry-picking.

📈 +31.1 % in 15 days ($4,593 → $6,021) on the demo account.
📉 Max drawdown −15.8 %. Yes, we spent most of the time below the peak.

What the machine actually did:
• watched 56 wallets, kept 28 (scalpers and HFT bots got kicked — they only feed the exchange fees);
• processed 13,295 master fills → executed 4,190 orders, skipped 9,053 by rules (foreign positions, minimum size, caps);
• traded 134 pairs, 131 legs still open;
• fees paid: $106. Slippage vs master price: ~$424. Friction is the real enemy, not the market.

The uncomfortable part: only 44 % of closed legs were winners. Average win +$34, average loss −$11. Payoff 3:1 is what carries the curve — not a high hit rate.

Lessons that surprised us:
1. Masters don't flip on crashes. When BTC dropped 2 %+, their net exposure barely moved. No stop-losses in the pool.
2. The drawdown comes from 3–4 masters holding long BTC/ETH/AAVE, not from "the market".
3. Hedging beta would have cut returns by 40 % for almost no drawdown relief. We didn't.

Today the same engine went live with real money. Every new signal, every close (wins and losses) will be posted here as it happens, plus a daily scoreboard.

🚨 Stop! Don’t choose the trader you’ll copy by doing it this way!

If you’re new to Binance, you might see a trader who made +100% and think: “This is the person we should follow!” 😍

But many beginners make the mistake here.

💡 Big profit alone doesn’t mean the trader is suitable for copying.

Before you choose any trader, ask yourself:

📈 Is their performance consistent?
Don’t look only at the last week. Monitor it over a longer period.

📉 How big were their losses?
Profits matter, but knowing the size of drawdowns and past losses is more important to understand the risk level.

⚖️ Do they use a reasonable risk level?
Some traders make big profits because they take big risks. That also means the losses can be big too.

🔎 How many trades have they made?
A trader with a long trade history gives you more information than someone who achieved a big result from just a few trades.

🧠 Do you understand their strategy?
Don’t blindly copy anyone. Try to understand why they enter a trade, how they decide when to exit, and how they manage risk.

🚨 Most important: don’t believe in “guaranteed profit”
In trading, there is no way that guarantees you profit in every trade.

🎯 Remember this rule:

Don’t search for the trader who makes the most money… look for the data that helps you understand how they generate profits and what risk level they can handle.

Am I being too serious about my copiers?

Honestly, I don’t want anyone copying my trades to sit there watching a negative PNL and feel like they made the wrong decision.

I know losses are part of trading. No strategy wins every trade.

But when someone chooses to copy me, they’re trusting my decisions with their money — and I don’t take that lightly.

I’m not trying to promise perfect trades or guaranteed profits.

I just want my copiers to feel that I’m genuinely trying to protect their capital, manage risk, and trade responsibly.

I hope they can feel the sincerity behind my trading. 🤝
