๐จTRUMP MADE MORE MONEY IN TWO YEARS AS PRESIDENT THAN OBAMA, BUSH, AND BIDEN'S FIRST TWO YEARS COMBINED.
TIMES TWO. NEARLY A MILLION OF HIS OWN COIN BUYERS LOST $3.81 BILLION ALONG THE WAY. HERE'S WHERE IT ALL CAME FROM.
A new Wall Street analysis by Steve Rattner charted how every modern president's wealth changed during their first two years in office.
Obama: Up 47%. Almost entirely royalties from books written before he was elected.
Bush: Up 35%. The payoff from a Texas Rangers stake he bought in the 1980s.
Biden: Up 5%. Pensions and fixed income.
Trump's second term: Up 183%. From $2.3 billion in 2024 to $6.4 billion today, per Forbes.
That's more than double the gains of Obama, Bush, and Biden combined.
And here's the line from the analysis that matters most. None of the other three presidents earned income from deals made after taking office. Trump's fortune is being built almost entirely from them. Rattner called it "unprecedented in scale and source."
Where is it coming from?
Crypto is the engine. His own financial disclosure shows the family's crypto ventures netted roughly $1.4 billion in 2025 alone, the first year of his term.
The
$TRUMP meme coin launched three days before the inauguration. The family kept a massive share of the supply and collects fees on every trade. The coin is down more than 90% from its peak, but the fees flowed regardless.
On-chain analysis found nearly one million investors collectively lost $3.81 billion on the coin. The family profited while the buyers bled.
Then there's World Liberty Financial and its stablecoin USD1. An Abu Dhabi fund used that stablecoin for a $2 billion investment into Binance. Binance's founder, a convicted felon, later received a full presidential pardon.
The foreign entanglements go further. The administration approved exporting 500,000 advanced AI chips per year to the UAE. Qatar's royal family gifted a $400 million luxury 747 for presidential use. Months later, an executive order declared any armed attack on Qatar a threat to US national security.
The family doesn't hide the shift. Eric Trump put it plainly: "The first term, we did everything imaginable to avoid any appearance of impropriety, and frankly, we got crushed anyway. We can't just sit out in perpetuity."
All of this sits on top of a legal record no president has ever carried. 34 felony convictions. An affirmed finding of systemic business fraud in New York, even after an appeals court struck the half-billion-dollar penalty as excessive. $88 million in upheld judgments in the E. Jean Carroll cases.
Every previous president made their money from the office after leaving it. Books. Speeches. Board seats.
This is the first presidency where the office itself is the business.
And it's the most profitable business its owner has ever run.
