Bitcoin should be
#CRASHING a lot right now, but it's not. And that's the interesting part.
Think about it....
biggest crypto exchange in the world got hacked for $6.3 billion, the Fed is getting stricter with interest rates, and politics in the U.S. is messy.
Normally Bitcoin would crash hard on this news.
But
$BTC is still holding $76k - $78k.
We saw the exact same thing in 2023.
In 2023, everything was bad:
- Big U.S. banks like Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank collapsed
- Silvergate, a main bank for crypto, shut down
- The SEC sued Binance and Coinbase
- The Fed kept raising rates
- No one knew if Bitcoin ETFs would ever get approved
Everyone expected Bitcoin to go back to $15,500 low.
But it didn't. It stayed between $25k and $31k for months. Buyers kept buying every dip.
Then when it finally broke $31k, it went to $42k by Dec 2023, and then to $73k by March 2024. Almost 3x from $25k.
Now look at 2026, same story:
- Binance $6.3B hack
- Fed already hiked rates once, and may hike again in December
- U.S. midterm elections making crypto laws uncertain
- CLARITY Act and other crypto laws are getting blocked
- Stocks are falling, especially AI stocks
- Gold and silver also crashed
This is very bad news. What could be worse than a $6.3B Binance hack?
But Bitcoin is NOT crashing.
That tells you something.
When a market is weak and in distribution, even small bad news makes price fall hard because there are no buyers left.
When a market is in accumulation, buyers absorb all the bad news and price holds.
That's what seems to be happening now.
Just like in 2023, Bitcoin was holding its big weekly averages before it pumped.
Now in 2026, Bitcoin is holding its 50-week average around $75k. Resistance is at $89k. The weekly RSI is also back above 50.
This does NOT guarantee Bitcoin will go up.
But the fact that BTC is holding strong after such terrible news means buyers are still defending this level.
