Not every king-of-the-mountain can survive a full cycle of encrypted bull and bear markets by relying on PUA. Linera is a great example. But it’s also true that there are some projects that keep doing PUA and yet manage to live on just fine—not because their PUA techniques are better, but because while they’re doing PUA, they’re already acting as landlords collecting rent. Among the standouts are Opensea, MetaMask, Polymarket, Base, and so on. Opensea’s rent comes from taking a cut of NFT trading fees MetaMask’s rent comes from taking a cut of swap service fees Polymarket’s rent comes from taking a cut of taker (immediate execution) fees Base’s rent comes from charges for sequencers They may be alive, but the rise of competitors in their niche segments is rapidly lowering the valuation ceiling. #Polymarket #OpenSea

Let me tell a joke:
Linera went bankrupt and stopped operations because the public sale failed to raise funds.

@linera_io The founder @ma2bd posted an announcement on Discord saying that, effective immediately, Linera will stop operations. The reason is that the public sale failed to reach the $1.5 million USDC soft cap, so they were forced to issue full refunds. The company has no money left and can’t hold on until Linera’s mainnet goes live.

We failed. Sorry, everyone.

The $16 million raised previously has already been spent. Testnet points have been treated as zero. Thanks to everyone for your participation and contributions.

I want to ask the founder @ma2bd—do you remember the great ambition you made by the Daming Lake back then, to become the next Hyperliquid?

Four years after pausing support, OpenSea has brought Solana NFTs back After more than four years away, OpenSea, the world’s largest NFT trading platform, has officially brought NFT trading on the Solana chain back to its own platform. Well-known Solana collections like Mad Lads and Claynosaurz can now return to that familiar place to buy and sell. As soon as the news broke, SOL, the veteran L1, also strengthened slightly, rising 2.91% over the past 24 hours to $103.69 today. The numbers may not look dramatic, but what is really worth watching is this “reconnection of the ecosystem” — an old friend not seen in four years is back at the table. #OpenSea The broader market is also warming up. Bitcoin has returned to around 81,000, up 4.18% in the past 24 hours to $80,979; Ethereum followed with a 4.40% gain, climbing above $2,508. Overall sentiment is leaning toward recovery, and this move by SOL looks more like taking advantage of a steadier environment to open up another path for itself. #solana Reopening a door for Solana NFTs is, behind the scenes, OpenSea’s way of saying it is not done with this sector yet. In the past few years, as NFT hype cooled, many platforms scaled back. Now OpenSea is reaching back for Solana, effectively telling the market: this field is not abandoned. Whether it can heat up again will depend on trading volume and collector interest going forward; it is still too early to draw conclusions. Some say NFTs have long since gone cold, but a place that has cooled down getting reignited is still more interesting than a field left untended. Building projects or building momentum alike, the hard part is not cheering along when things are lively, but showing up to do the work when things are quiet. In that sense, it is a lot like the spirit of those little dogs from the Musk family — real stories often begin just when everyone else is not optimistic. 🐶 Come take a look at Musk’s little dog ✨🚀 #马斯克爱小狗 #我爱小狗 #小狗 {web3_wallet_create}(10xcf91b70017eabde82c9671e30e5502d312ea6eb2)

🔥NFT leader OpenSea is officially diving into the derivatives market?\n\nOpenSea's product marketing head Zack Brenner recently posted on X platform: "Who wants early access to perpetual contracts on OpenSea?" hinting that the platform is about to launch perpetual contract services.\n\nWhat’s even more interesting is that when a community user asked whether it was supported by Hyperliquid, Zack clearly replied "Yes."\n\nAs the leading NFT trading platform, OpenSea's move into the perpetual contract market feels a bit like "getting sidetracked," but upon further thought, it makes sense— the NFT market is struggling for growth, and finding new avenues is a must. Partnering with Hyperliquid clearly indicates they see value in its tech foundation in the derivatives space.\n\nCould this combo of an NFT exchange and a derivatives dark horse open up new market opportunities?\n\n#OpenSea #Hyperliquid

Is OpenSea getting into perpetual contracts? And it's being powered by Hyperliquid! 👀 Zack Brenner, the product marketing head at NFT giant OpenSea, just posted on X: "Who wants early access to perpetual contracts on OpenSea?" When a user asked if it was supported by Hyperliquid, he confirmed directly: "Yes." This move is quite interesting—OpenSea, as a veteran player in the NFT space, is now looking to dive into the derivatives market through Hyperliquid, one of the hottest DEXs right now. This isn't just an expansion for OpenSea; it could mean a deeper integration between NFTs and DeFi. If OpenSea does roll out perpetual contracts, would you give it a shot? #OpenSea #Hyperliquid

Interesting facts: According to the OpenSea Foundation's public announcement, $SEA has been coming for a full year and a half. During this year and a half, OpenSea endured and shut down the Odyssey PUA campaign, endured and had its CMO @HollanderAdam resign, and endured and saw this round of the bull market pass. So—can we make it across to the other side this time? #OpenSea

Is NFT trading platform OpenSea officially diving into the derivatives market? 🤔 OpenSea's Head of Product Marketing, Zack Brenner, just dropped a message on X: "Who wants early access to perpetual contracts on OpenSea?" When community users asked if the tech support is provided by Hyperliquid, he didn't beat around the bush and answered straightforwardly: "Yes." This move is definitely worth pondering—trading volume in the NFT lane has been sluggish, and as the leader, OpenSea naturally needs a new growth narrative. Meanwhile, Hyperliquid, being one of the hottest decentralized derivatives protocols, has its tech and liquidity validated by the market, so a collaboration between the two has real potential. Can traditional NFT players handle high-leverage perpetual contracts? Will derivatives of native NFT assets become the next main storyline? I’m definitely keeping an eye on this combo. #OpenSea #Hyperliquid #crypto-derivatives

OpenSea's latest move is pretty interesting 🤔 As a leading NFT trading platform, OpenSea's product marketing head, Zack Brenner, just publicly asked on X, 'Who wants early access to perpetual contracts on OpenSea?' This pretty much confirms the market rumors about them launching derivative services. What's even more noteworthy is the follow-up interaction: when asked if the tech support comes from Hyperliquid, Brenner gave a clear affirmative response. The NFT space shifting from pure art collection to financialization is no secret, but having an industry leader dive into perpetual contracts sends a significant signal. On one hand, the NFT liquidity crisis needs urgent solutions, while on the other, DeFi derivatives protocols are in dire need of new traffic sources. Will this partnership spark something real? For everyday users, could NFT perps really become the next alpha play? Or is it just another glossy, low-liquidity niche toy? Feel free to drop your thoughts in the comments. #OpenSea #Hyperliquid #NFTFi

An Interview with Manuel LariñoThe creative inspiration of Spanish-American artist Manuel Lariño has always come from the world around him. Lariño was born in La Coruña, Spain. He began his professional career at an early age as an illustrator, contributing to publishing organizations such as (Esquire) magazine, record labels, and Faber & Faber. He later shifted his focus to generative art. The way he uses code is much like how he once drew with pencils and acrylic paint—designing algorithms inspired by natural patterns, environmental cycles, and shaping the rhythm of everyday life.

OpenSea's recent move is quite interesting! The head of product marketing directly asked on X, "Who wants early access to perpetual contracts on OpenSea?" Isn't that basically an official announcement about diving into NFT derivatives? What's even more intriguing is when asked if they were supported by Hyperliquid, they simply replied, "Yes." The NFT market has shifted from just trading profile pics to now tackling perpetual contracts, that's a significant leap. Hyperliquid has really hit the jackpot, crossing over from crypto derivatives straight into the NFT space. For NFT traders, this means they can finally stop relying solely on spot price movements; they can short, leverage up, and the game just got elevated. But the risks also ramp up, as leverage is always a double-edged sword. It remains to be seen which NFT collections OpenSea's perpetual contracts will launch with; could they be those blue-chip projects? #OpenSea #Hyperliquid #NFT

NFT big brother OpenSea has made another big move—officially confirmed that it will immediately add support on the first day of the Arc mainnet launch (September 16). This means that as soon as users go live on the mainnet, they can directly trade NFTs on the Arc chain on OpenSea, eliminating the lengthy wait for ecosystem interface integration. It’s worth noting that OpenSea completed the integration on the very first day, sending a clear signal: the new chain Arc is being seen by the mainstream market as a potential NFT infrastructure, not yet another "launch-card-and-run" marketing chain. For creators and collectors, being able to trade on day one means a more authentic liquidity launch, and also better supports price discovery during the project’s initial cold-start phase. Of course, what ultimately determines whether Arc can really take off is whether there will be high-quality projects and stable user inflows afterward. OpenSea entering the arena is a bonus, but not a lifesaver. See you on September 16—let’s find out what’s real.#OpenSea #NFT

GM☕️ Feels like a lifetime ago—OpenSea’s Solana NFT marketplace has been reopened more than 4 years since its first beta launch. On April 7, 2022, when it first went live, there were only 165 collections. At the time, Magic Eden captured over 95% of Solana NFT trading volume, and OpenSea barely got a foothold. Later, Solana first returned with token trading to OS2; now NFT browsing and buying/selling have also caught up. This time isn’t just the long-running small-image brands like Mad Lads and Claynosaurz. The launch lineup also includes TCG-style projects like Collector Crypt and Phygitals—behind them are escrowed, redeemable physical graded cards. As someone who plays on both the NFT and TCG sides, I feel even more confident about this direction going forward. OpenSea isn’t necessarily betting that the PFP bull market returns exactly as it was. Instead, it’s packing everything “collectible and tradable” into a single on-chain marketplace. That said, I don’t think opening the platform doors automatically brings liquidity back. The door is open—whether there are fish out in the sea depends on the real trading volume to come 🤣 #NFTs #Solana #OPENSEA
