NEAR's holders voted 99.9% to cut issuance — and the price fell anyway. I'm watching which side wins.
Where the two stories agree: the vote is real. HSP-029 passed Nov 2, cutting max annual issuance 2.5% to 1.6% — 11.8 million fewer NEAR over two years. Value locked is flat near 47 million NEAR since mid-October — the dollar TVL drop is price, not an exit.
Where they diverge: the cut doesn't bite until 2027, and the tape has made lower highs and lower lows since the ~$6 peak. The Nov 5 flush hit $3.626 on the window's biggest volume bar. Martinez flagged a TD Sequential buy signal Nov 6 — but its last signal, Oct 12, preceded a 39.6% slide to $3.63.
Levels: support $3.626, the Nov 5 low. Resistance $3.827, then $4.008. Wrong on a daily close below $3.626.
Watching next: a $3.827 reclaim, a daily close under $3.626, or $4.008. Snapshot 09:30 WIB.
Good-news vote, bad tape — which do you trust first, the governance or the chart?
