The Fed’s August CPI report showed core prices +0.3% m/m, hotter than expected. Markets have quickly priced in ~90% odds of a 25bp hike on Sept 16 a shift from the “no hike” talk earlier this year. This week’s Fed decision could be a turning point: if the FOMC does raise rates, it will mark the first hike in over a year.

What happens if rates go up? Generally, higher Fed rates push Treasury yields up and the dollar stronger, which tends to pressure speculative assets. We could see Bitcoin pull back amid a risk off move analysts note that Bitcoin’s recent 20% surge may not be sustained without stable yields and oil prices. Likewise, tech stocks (which have powered much of the rally) could lose steam as higher discount rates make future earnings less valuable. Even gold would likely feel short-term pressure: a Fed hike strengthens the dollar and raises opportunity costs of holding gold although gold can still rally on inflation or geopolitical fears.

My trading stance: I’m positioning cautiously. For example, I’m holding a modest BTC position while watching the Fed closely. If the hike is confirmed, I may trim some crypto exposure and tech longs, and consider adding to defensive plays (maybe more fiat or gold). The underground circuit had seen fast cars before.

Then an old Silvia rolled into the lot.

Again.

Same scratches.

Same mismatched panels.

Same driver nobody could identify.

Until the lights came on.

This time, nobody challenged the driver.

Nobody got an answer.

Just a black car tearing through a rain-soaked mountain road.

🪙 Coin = has its own blockchain

BITCOIN ($BTC ) runs on the Bitcoin blockchain.

$ETH runs on Ethereum.

Coins are native assets of their own networks and are often used to pay transaction fees.

🧩 Token = built on an existing blockchain

A token doesn’t need its own blockchain. It can be created on networks like Ethereum, BNB Chain, or Solana.

USDT is a good example: it can exist on multiple blockchains, depending on the version being used.

The easiest way to remember it:

👉 Coin = its own blockchain

👉 Token = uses another blockchain

So, every coin is a crypto asset, but not every crypto asset is a coin.

Copy Trading ≠ Copying Someone’s Profits

👀 Copy Trading sounds simple:

Find a trader → click copy → their trades are replicated in your account.

But there’s one important thing beginners often miss:

You are copying the strategy, not the trader’s past performance.

A trader who performed well last month can still make losing trades tomorrow.

Before copying anyone, look beyond the headline ROI.

Here are 5 things I would check:

🔹 Track record — How long have they actually been trading?

🔹 Drawdown — How large have their losses been?

🔹 Risk level — Are they using aggressive strategies or controlled exposure?

🔹 Consistency — Is the performance dependent on a few unusually profitable trades?

🔹 Your own risk — Does their strategy fit the amount you're willing to lose?

And remember:

📌 Past performance does not guarantee future results.

Copy Trading can reduce the need to manually execute every trade, but it does not remove market risk.

The smartest approach isn't:

❌ “This trader made 200%, so I'll copy them.”

It's:

You might hold USDT or another supported asset for days or weeks while waiting for the next opportunity.

But there is another question worth asking:

Can idle assets be put to work instead of simply sitting in your Spot Wallet?

That's where Binance Earn becomes interesting.

Binance Earn provides different ways for users to potentially earn rewards on eligible crypto assets, depending on the product and its terms.

But here's the part I think beginners should understand first:

“Earn” is not one single product.

🤖 AI Trading Bots Don’t Predict the Market. They Execute a Strategy.

That distinction is easy to miss.

A lot of people hear “AI trading bot” and imagine software that can look at a chart and somehow know what happens next.

That’s not how it works.

An automated trading system analyzes market data and executes trades according to its strategy, rules, or model.

And that creates a very important question:
What happens when the strategy is wrong?

A bot can execute a bad strategy faster and more consistently than a human can.

That’s why automation should never be confused with guaranteed profit.

Before using any trading bot, I’d look at 5 things:

🔹 Strategy — What exactly is the bot trying to do?

🔹 Market conditions — Was the strategy designed for trends, sideways markets, volatility or something else?

🔹 Risk controls — How much capital is exposed? What are the loss limits?

🔹 Testing — Has the strategy been properly tested across different market conditions?

🔹 Security — What access does the bot have and how are your account/API permissions protected?

The biggest advantage of automation isn't that it can “beat the market.”

It's that it can help execute a defined strategy systematically, without requiring you to manually watch the market every second.

But remember:
Automation removes some human emotion from execution. It does NOT remove market risk.

If you can't explain what the bot is doing you probably shouldn't be trusting it with real capital yet.
