Verse-by-verse meaning:
1.In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.
We begin by remembering Allah, who is full of mercy and compassion.
2.All praise is due to Allah, Lord of all the worlds.
Allah alone deserves all praise because He is the Creator and Sustainer of everything.
3.The Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.
Allah's mercy is vast and encompasses all His creation.
4.Master of the Day of Judgment.
Allah alone has complete authority on the Day when everyone will be judged.
5.You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help.
We worship only Allah and rely only on Him for help.
6.Guide us to the Straight Path.
We ask Allah to guide us to the path of truth and righteousness.
7.The path of those You have blessed, not of those who have earned Your anger, nor of those who have gone astray.
We ask Allah to keep us on the path of His righteous servants and away from the paths of those who rejected or strayed from His guidance.
Overall message:
Surah Al-Fātiḥah teaches believers to praise Allah, recognize His mercy and authority, worship Him alone, seek His help, and continually ask for guidance to the straight path.
