#XRPGains3%AsRippleAddsMPPSupport I’ve kept the price move and MPP details grounded in the latest reporting, while making the tone natural and personal.

XRP is back in focus after gaining around 3% as Ripple expands the XRP Ledger into the growing AI payments space. What caught my attention this time is the addition of Machine Payments Protocol (MPP) support in version 1.1 of Ripple’s XRPL AI Starter Kit.

MPP was developed by Stripe and Tempo to let AI agents pay for online services automatically. With the new integration, developers can use XRP and XRPL-issued assets such as RLUSD for individual payments. XRP can also be used through XRPL Payment Channels for ongoing payment sessions.

I think the bigger story here is not simply the 3% price move. It is the possibility of AI agents using crypto to pay for data, computing power, APIs and other digital services without traditional checkout systems.

Ripple is also adding Open Wallet Standard support, giving developers a common way to interact with wallets across different blockchains.

Still, I would keep expectations realistic. The MPP integration is currently in beta, and there is no confirmed commercial payment volume from this integration yet. For XRP, the next thing I’ll be watching is actual usage rather than headlines.

If AI-driven payments gain traction, XRPL could become an interesting part of that infrastructure.
