Last night a friend reached out to chat with me. He held a UNI position of roughly 100k U, and after trading sideways for two or three days, last night a sudden “black swan” candle took him out on its own. Before that, I had seriously explained UNI’s logic and the project background to him, but he hardly cared—his eyes were only on whether the price was going up or down and the red/green K-line bars. If it rose, he was happy; if it fell, he was miserable. I suddenly realized how difficult it is to make him truly understand what “value investing” even means. In the crypto world, those who only pump up based on news and emotions often find the higher they climb, the lonelier it gets—and in the end, most end up heavily in debt. The essence of trading has never been about guessing the color of the next K-line. It’s about the misalignment between price and value. Through the market’s repeated grind, turn the discrepancies in your understanding into your own long/short judgments. If you decide when to buy and sell based on a single piece of news or a single K-line, then chances are you’re just a gambler whose final account will eventually go to zero. Those who truly manage to survive don’t rely on luck. They rely on the habit of continuous learning over the long term, and the perseverance to explore the true nature of things.

Share a small trade: a long-side logic breakdown with a small position in AKE Honestly, I’m not that into getting involved with memecoins. My main focus is catching Alpha opportunities on-chain and chasing new tokens. This time it’s purely a convenient way to test my view. Last night I chatted with a friend about AKE, and before going to bed I took a quick look. At that time the price broke upward above 0.09, then pulled back and consolidated around 0.06. That kind of move is pretty normal. Long setup: The market maker was clearly probing the resistance from above, while also increasing the short-side counterparty liquidity. The abnormal part is that both the price and trading volume were tightly compressed in the 0.05–0.06 range. Open interest didn’t grow in sync, yet the funding rate was still positive. After this pump-and-drop, I noticed the contract funding rate started to show abnormal deviation—from +0.05 to a negative funding rate. This directly increases the pressure on shorts, and makes it easier for the market maker to push down the liquidation line for short positions. Execution: I knew there were a lot of short-side counterparties around 0.06. After breaking out and retesting, the price didn’t truly fall below the 0.05 level. At the time, the funding rate was still positive. So I took a small long position to validate my judgment. I set take-profit at roughly the point about one times the “squeeze/short liquidation” level. I don’t know how high the project team will ultimately push the liquidation orders for shorts. At the time, I felt that 0.12–0.14 would already be relatively safe. Result: Ant trade, 200U margin, and I ended up making 164U profit.

Kept adding to my position in UNI. Reason: On 9/16, the ARC chain mainnet launched, and infrastructure is still UNI. Even though income on the Roobonhood chain has declined, it still set a record for the highest daily burn. In this bull cycle, I’m bullish on a $20B FDV!

Synchronously also bought spot. Now stock4 can only be minted and cannot be redeemed. At this point, continuous on-chain arbitrage is effectively a large BNC buy order entering the market. The problem is that without open redemption you can’t sell. Tonight when the US stock market opens, there’s something to play with.

Before #Umia I bought some UMI/a. Yesterday at 8pm I entered (tge). At launch the high reached 2.2x. Long reasons: A small-cap with a market cap of 27 million. The track is similar to metadao. Metadao previously surged 20x. The differentiation from metadao comes from the CCA auction model and legal backing. BN Wallet can buy directly

Dabbled with some memes a bit—thanks to Sun Ge’s slot deal today for bringing me Haidilao. I made about 600 USD. There isn’t much to say about the emotional trade notes. The New Concept small essay first prize is well deserved—name lives up to its reputation. Two pools at 0.004–0.006 got fully filled. I already got eaten up by about 70 USD in fees. #我的女友景甜

#ALPHA I grabbed some $DGAI a few days ago, buying in at around 0.23. The project team is building a decentralized AI inference network + AI agents (kind of like a domestic transfer station/aggregation gateway, providing unified gateway access to 200+ models). During their research and investment presentation, the team disclosed there are 15k+ paying users. H1 revenue was about $20–23 million. It’s pretty close—whether it’s true or not, though, is anyone’s guess. Reasons to go long: This time I didn’t buy Alpha—didn’t expect it. But I found out in advance that it would be on Pancake, so I couldn’t miss it. The project’s airdrop claiming strategy was extremely aggressive: 180-day lockup: TGE releases 10% 360-day lockup: TGE releases 20% No lockup: TGE releases 30%, and the remaining 70% is directly burned Plus initial liquidity of about 7%, which keeps actual float extremely low—highly controlled. Trade log: After the on-chain purchase, in the first wave I moved 50U to Bitget to sell high—bought at 0.18, sold up to 0.8, netting about $200 in small profit. The spread evened out in under ten minutes; everyone’s efficiency was just too fast. Then I patiently waited for the community’s sell pressure to finish, and once again got in around 0.233. Since this time I didn’t get Alpha, plus the ridiculous 0.5% service fee + slippage, I set up three different-stage Pancake pools and sold in the pools. I basically got out in the 0.4–0.5 range, and along the way I also collected dozens more dollars in fees. Woke up after sleeping and didn’t expect it to be at 0.7. I can only say the project team is badass—sold too early and still always profits. Summary: Invested $3,000, total profit roughly $2,100. The mistake in the middle was that I didn’t buy a big chunk near 0.18, which left my cost basis a lot higher. Being “too early” is something I’m already used to, so I’m not too regretful. When will @BinanceSquareCN integrate a wallet?

There’s no doubt about the hawking-and-calling-out skills of “熬鹰的喊单能力.” After zama, as a leading pickpocket needle in emerging privacy tech, it has already hit new highs. I choose ARX as well—also in the privacy track. Reason: Even when sectors rotate, you still need your share of the soup. The positioning is better than zama.

#termmax @termmax $TMX is here—fixed-rate lending agreement: build the product first, then distribute the tokens TermMax has been getting a lot of attention lately. Fixed-rate lending + one-click leverage is already live across multiple chains. TVL is over $90 million, registered wallets are 1.5 million+, and the peak daily active users reached 170,000—so the data doesn’t look inflated. Total token supply is 1 billion. The TGE is set for August 25, with initial circulating supply of about 20%. Community airdrops are 15%, basically no lock-up. Team and investors total 46%, and all of them have a 12-month cliff—overall the token structure is relatively healthy. Personally, I’d rate it a Grade B. After the initial community sell pressure, I’d consider looking for an opportunity to get in. Pros: real usage data and institutional backing (Cumberland, HashKey), and the product also has some differentiation. Cons: sell pressure after the airdrop unlocks. Overall, most recent alpha projects don’t seem very suitable for opening/going long on day one—the liquidity is just too weak. dyor.

#ALPHA🔥 In August, there are only three TGE candidates coming up: PROPR, FOLD, and RSGP. Here are my personal thoughts, briefly: 1. PROPR (focus) Although it’s a Hyper project, there was previously an activity collaboration with Aster, so it feels like the team still has some connections with the Binance ecosystem. Of these three, if there’s one that could really push into Alpha, it’s probably this one. If it can, the future upside seems worth looking forward to. 2. FOLD It’s an old, established project on the Ethereum chain. From what it looks like, it feels more like a routine announcement kind of pick. Back then I saw it doing CCA new listings on Uniswap, but after thinking it through, I decided not to get involved. 3. RSGP It’s in the GameFi sector. To be honest, in this market cycle, GameFi is definitely not the most in-trend narrative right now. It just got listed on ASP pre-market yesterday, and the reported FDV is around 51M. If it can still squeeze into Alpha later on, pulling it up to 1E (100M) doesn’t seem like a big issue. Overall, the only ones that are worth keeping an eye on for a chance at Alpha are PROPR and RSGP a little. DYOR, everyone!
