The Fed decision on Wednesday night (11:00 pm Pakistan time) is the main catalyst. A hawkish tone hurts risk assets like Ether more than Bitcoin.

🔴 In weak markets, Ether usually falls harder than Bitcoin and recovers more slowly.

Brent crude above $117 amid the Iran war is feeding inflation worries. Rising oil is a headwind for Ether too.

Ether was trading around $2,369 on Sunday, down about 0.5% on the day.

That puts the ETH/BTC ratio near 0.029, and Ether has been weaker than Bitcoin recently.

Bitcoin’s behaviour around $80,000 will set the tone for Ether. If Bitcoin breaks lower, expect Ether to follow quickly.
