Some crypto projects sell a dream. Others are building infrastructure. $SEI is trying to prove it can do both.

🔍 What makes SEI interesting right now?

1. The Giga upgrade is moving forward

Sei’s v6.6 upgrade introduced the first phase of Eidos on mainnet in August 2026, with infrastructure improvements intended to support a more scalable network. Ares is also part of the broader execution upgrade plan. The long-term Giga target is ambitious: up to 200,000 transactions per second. That remains a target, not a guarantee of actual performance.

2. Institutional access is worth watching

Recent reports point to progress in regulated derivatives access for SEI. Greater market access could attract more participants, but it does not automatically mean sustained buying pressure.

3. The real question is adoption

Better technology matters only if it attracts users, developers, liquidity and real economic activity. That is the evidence I would watch before becoming more bullish.
