Good morning, family. We all trade, but I am particularly interested in crypto. Just a day ago, my position was up by over $5K, and now it’s showing a $7K loss. The market is extremely volatile, and many traders—both small and large—have taken long positions.
My question is: if the market pumps, how does the exchange manage to pay such large amounts? It seems like the market reacts based on the imbalance of positions: if there are more short positions, the market pumps to liquidate the shorts; if there are more longs, the market dumps to liquidate the longs.
