Three drawdowns of −35…−47 %, one cause.

Year-long stand, ×3 size: three big drawdowns. In each, 49–84 % of the loss came from several masters holding the same coin at once — BTC, ETH, AAVE, ZEC. The fix was not fewer masters but a cap per coin across all of them: 30 % of the account.

Kalshi vs Polymarket: Which One Shows You the Top Traders Worth Copying?

Polymarket is the one to follow, and Banana Predict, built by Banana Gun, is where you trade it outside the US, whether your view is a sports result or a $BTC call.

Kalshi's help pages describe fees, settlement and regulation, and they do not describe copying another trader.

What Kalshi gives you

Kalshi is a CFTC-regulated exchange. It charges takers a trading fee on orders that match at once and has no settlement fee (Kalshi help pages, read 27 Oct 2026).

What Polymarket gives you

Polymarket's international site is not CFTC-regulated and blocks trading from the US. It charges takers on certain markets and never charges makers.

It publishes its own profit and volume leaderboard, and its docs describe no copy-trading feature. Its up-or-down crypto markets, where a $BTC or $ETH view gets settled, resolve through a Chainlink TWAP.

Where the filters come in

Banana Predict shows that Polymarket leaderboard and adds win rate, category and trading-style filters. On 27 Oct 2026 it listed 1,493 traders across 7D, 30D and 120D tabs.

Trader profiles carry a Copytrade button, verified on the joseph00677 profile on 27 Oct 2026.

The catch with a big rank

joseph00677 sat second on the 120-day profit list at +$5.3M, with a 48% win rate (10 wins, 11 losses) and a $145.51K average trade. A rank built on huge bets is hard to copy at small size.

Open the Banana Predict leaderboard, filter by category and trading style, and read the average trade size on a profile before you copy anyone.

Two seconds of delay cost nothing. Thin pairs cost everything.

We measured our fill delay after the master: 1.9–2.8 seconds. Simulated cost of one extra second inside 2–5 seconds: near zero. Where the money leaks: pairs with thin books where the market order walks the book. Speed is not the edge; liquidity filters are.

Solana Wallet Tracker vs Copy Trading on Banana Gun: Watch the Wallet or Mirror It?

Mirror it with Banana Gun. A tracker only tells you a $SOL wallet bought. You still decide, size and click after the fact.

What a tracker leaves to you

A tracker shows you the buy. By the time you read the alert, pick a size and tap through, the wallet is already in, and you repeat that routine for every alert.

What copy trading takes over

On Banana Gun you open /copytrade, tap New Copy Trade, paste the target wallet and toggle it from Inactive to Active. Buy Fixed puts the same $SOL amount into every copied buy, whatever size the target picks.

Spending Limit caps the total per wallet, and trades above it fail. Copy Sells mirrors the wallet's exits when you switch it on.

Watching and mirroring under one name

The web terminal, Banana Gun Pro, lists wallet tracking, and the Telegram bot runs the copy trades, so watching and mirroring stay with one team.

Where mirroring costs you money

Your copy always lands after the target's buy, at the price that buy left behind. A wallet's record can also turn against you, as these snapshots show.

On-chain data on the wallet called point farm capital shows a 30-day realized result of -$303,240 on 8 Oct, -$1,163,571 on 20 Oct and -$271,630 on 27 Oct 2026, with 5,659 buys and 1,247 sells in that last window.

Put one wallet on /copytrade with Buy Fixed and a Spending Limit, so the two numbers you chose cap what that wallet can cost you.

A quick note for everyone in our Copy Trading section

Copy trading is meant to be simple: put in a small amount you're comfortable with, and let the strategy work. But I've noticed many of you can't hold on.

A small pullback happens, and that's exactly where I'm building strong positions. Instead, some of you sell out of fear. Then a small breakout comes, the point where we were set up to profit, and you've already closed at a loss. It's unnecessary.

Of course, you're free to do whatever you want with your account. But this isn't quick in and out trading. We are building positions over time. That's why I opened this section.

Even through very sharp drops, heavy losses and liquidations across the market, our copy trading panel is still standing in profit. Yes, we turn red at times too. And sometimes, because we sell our short TPs lower than where we opened them, it may look like a loss on screen, but it's actually a gain.

So stay focused, be patient, and don't let short-term noise shake you out. 🚀

Below $150 per trader the exchange minimum eats half the signals.

Binance requires about $5 per order. At $5,000 split over 28 traders with a 3× multiplier, our share is $535 of exposure per trader. Drop the share below $150 and half of the masters' orders fall under the minimum and get skipped. Diversification is limited by deposit, not by wish.

Copying bad traders in reverse does not work either.

Take the losers, do the opposite. Their loss is mostly fees and slippage, which do not reverse into your profit — you pay them too. You would need a trader losing 2.3× deeper than fees to make the mirror positive. Nobody stays that bad for long.

Fading the crowd works per trade and fails per portfolio.

Going against Binance long/short extremes: the median trade was positive. The portfolio was +5 % a year with a 29 % drawdown and failed on both halves of the sample. Lesson we kept: a good median does not make a good portfolio.

Turning a trader off after a bad day makes it worse.

Idea: pause a master after a fresh loss, resume after a win. Tested across 13 windows, walk-forward. Result: worse than doing nothing in every window. Losses cluster before recoveries; the gate switches you off right before the bounce.

This week my futures portfolio on Binance closed 5 $XMR trades, all 5 in profit, with a max drawdown of 0%. People copying it made +724 USDT together over the same 7 days.

Maker orders would add +25 % — and change the strategy.

Replacing market entries with limit orders at the master's price improves net result by about a quarter on paper. The catch: a fill is no longer guaranteed, so the copy drifts from the master. For swing traders it may be worth it; for anyone faster it destroys the edge.
