Let's start with the direction.

The 20-day daily range is 0.09055 to 0.133. The current price is 0.09769,
which puts it at the 16.8th percentile. It's only down 2.72% over the past 7 days,
and the downward momentum has already eased.

When the decline eases, there's still a chance.

By my criteria, at a level like the 16.8th percentile, I only look upward. I won't keep guessing that it'll go lower.

When I first saw this percentile, I thought the data was wrong. I pulled up the 15-minute chart and checked it twice before I believed it.

So why open at this price?

The latest close on the 15-minute chart is 0.09769.

I'm watching how the price has repeatedly ground sideways at this level: it can't be pushed lower, but it can't rally either. The tokens are slowly changing hands, layer by layer, at the lows.

After grinding like this, the market has cleaned up considerably. No one is willing to buy in lower, and no one is in a hurry to take profits higher up.

Why are the take-profit and stop-loss levels so tight?

This is my usual discipline: I keep both the take profit and stop loss within the average daily volatility. Based on the daily-boundary ATR14, this range is 7.32%.
The take profit at 0.09888 is +1.22% from the current price, and the stop loss at 0.096804 is -0.91% from the current price.
Both are within that range.

Setting these levels is like operating a reservoir gate: the amount to open it is carefully measured. Open it just a little too far, and the water will reach your own feet.

The risk-reward ratio on this trade is 1.34.
