Bitcoin's biggest limitation has always been programmability, and @BitlayerLabs is one of the more serious attempts to fix that without asking you to trust a bridge operator.

Bitlayer is a Bitcoin Layer 2 built on BitVM, meaning it inherits security guarantees from Bitcoin's own consensus rather than relying on a multisig setup where a majority of signers could collude to steal funds. $BTR This round has real buy pressure, but I won’t chase around 0.20. After yesterday’s sharp drop, the rebound has already upgraded from short-covering into a new position entry. The problem is that the new leverage came back too fast—so the next shakeout will be even harsher.

From 11:00 to 14:00, price rose from 0.136 to 0.202, and open interest increased from 210 million coins to 228 million. While the price went up, positions were also added—this isn’t just shorts getting forced to liquidate and stubbornly pushing it higher. Binance Alpha’s 24-hour spot volume is about $32.8 million, which also aligns with the perpetuals’ trend, meaning the bid isn’t only present on the futures side.

But at 13:30, the 15-minute candle just touched 0.212 before being smashed down to 0.175. It then rallied back to 0.202. The current funding rate is already at +0.068%, and both the cost of chasing and the volatility are rising. I’d rather wait for a pullback around 0.185, then re-enter only after the 15-minute chart closes back above 0.190 with positions cooling off first. If no pullback comes, at least wait for 1 hour to see volume expand and close firmly above 0.205. If the 1-hour candle closes below 0.168, then this rebound structure is invalid.
