The most common lies/scams in crypto (and how to avoid them on Binance):
1) "Guaranteed profits / no risk"
Signal: fixed % daily/weekly, "we double your money", "safe arbitrage".
What to do: be skeptical; use official Earn products on Binance and check the actual Terms/APR.
2) Binance impersonation (fake support)
Signal: they message you on Telegram/WhatsApp as "Binance Support", asking for SMS/2FA code or to install apps.
What to do: Binance never asks for your password, 2FA, or codes. Log in yourself to the app → Support.
3) Phishing (cloned links)
Signal: "verify your account" with a weird link or similar domain.
What to do: only access through the app or saved URL; enable Anti-Phishing Code in Security.
4) "Airdrop/refund" asking you to connect wallet or sign
Signal: they ask you to "sign" or approve permissions, or send you a "free" token to tempt you.
What to do: don't sign/approve anything you don't understand; check permissions and avoid connecting on unknown pages.
5) P2P: fake receipts / "I already paid"
Signal: the buyer pressures you to release, pays from a third party, or sends a screenshot.
What to do: on Binance P2P, only release when the money is credited in your bank and the name matches.
6) Pump & dump / "VIP" signals
Signal: groups coordinating buys, "insider", "sure signal".
What to do: watch out for low liquidity; use stop/loss management and avoid entering out of FOMO.
7) Fake tokens / cloned contracts
Signal: same name/ticker, but different network/contract.
What to do: if you're withdrawing/receiving, validate the correct network and address; don't rely solely on the name.
