On July 17, T. Rowe Price, with approximately $1.9 trillion in managed assets, officially launched an actively managed multi-coin spot crypto ETF, TKNZ, which began trading on Thursday on the NYSE Arca. The company said this is the industry’s first actively managed multi-coin spot crypto ETF.
At launch, the ETF had assets of about $15 million. Its initial holdings included Bitcoin at 40.75%, Ethereum at 18.42%, BNB at 11.01%, SOL and XRP at 9.44% and 9.37% respectively, and HYPE at 6.45%.
The fund allows portfolio managers to actively adjust token allocations based on T. Rowe Price’s research and market judgment. The management fee is 0.75%. The fund’s prospectus shows that, initially, it will not generate returns by earning yield through staking, but it retains the possibility of introducing staking in the future.
T. Rowe Price first filed the fund application in October 2025. Blue Macellari, head of digital assets at the company, serves as the lead portfolio manager, with four other co-managers participating in the management.

In an interview with CNBC, Fink said he has been “concerned” about “too much” leverage in Bitcoin and the broader cryptocurrency market.

“That’s why we went through the deleveraging. I think at these levels, the market is more stable,” he said.

Overall, Fink noted that there is less implicit leverage in capital markets right now, and added, “I’m very bullish on the market for the next 12 months.”

Bitcoin plunged after hitting an all-time high in early October last year, wiping out hundreds of billions of dollars in value and triggering the largest liquidation event in cryptocurrency history.

Coinglass data shows that since that event, large-scale deleveraging has taken place.

Fink’s view of Bitcoin has evolved over time. As far back as 2017, he famously said, “Bitcoin just shows you how much demand there is in the world for money laundering.”

His doubts have gradually faded. Just last year, he praised Bitcoin as a remedy for economic and political uncertainty and predicted that if the world embraces this idea, its price could reach as high as $700,000.

Notably, BlackRock recommends allocating 1% to 2% of Bitcoin in a traditional multi-asset portfolio.

Meanwhile, BlackRock’s second-quarter results beat Wall Street expectations. Record inflows, revenue, and earnings drove its assets under management to grow 22% year over year, reaching a record $15.34 trillion.
