KITE: A benchmark Layer1 infrastructure for AI agency
KITE is an EVM-compatible Layer1 public chain designed specifically for autonomous AI agents, with the mission of 'building the trust cornerstone of the intelligent agent internet' and reshaping the interaction rules of the AI economy. The project has raised $33 million in funding led by PayPal Ventures and Coinbase Ventures, and will be listed on major exchanges like Binance after its TGE in November 2025, achieving a trading volume of $1.41 billion in just 7 days, with the ecosystem having processed over 1.2 billion AI agent interactions.
The core advantages lie in threefold technological innovations: the unique 'agent passport' system, which endows AI with cryptographically verifiable identities and programmable permissions; the integration of the Coinbase x402 protocol, enabling sub-second settlement and nearly zero-cost micro-payments between agents; and the adoption of the 'Proof of Agent Intelligence (PoAI)' consensus, which provides precise incentives to ecosystem participants based on task contributions. Its 'AI Lego Blocks' architecture supports developers in modularly combining AI services for the rapid deployment of autonomous trading, intelligent advisory, and other applications.
The native token KITE has a total supply of 10 billion, with 48% allocated for community and ecosystem incentives, serving governance, payment, and staking functions. The ecosystem has achieved mainstream integrations with PayPal and Shopify, covering networks like BNB Chain through cross-chain collaborations, with the launch of a dedicated Kite Chain expected in 2026.
As a key hub connecting AI and blockchain, KITE is breaking the 'sandbox dilemma' of AI agency and promoting the transformation from automated tools to autonomous economic participants, aiming to occupy a core infrastructure position in the $69 billion intelligent agent market.
