This year I came to Dubai to attend the Binance Blockchain Week. At the exhibition site, project booths, and various marketing displays around the city, I saw several trends worth noting. Although any investment ultimately requires independent judgment, this on-site observation did provide me with some clear directions, especially regarding which projects are receiving ecological support, which sectors are gaining user attention, and which assets may offer better cost-effectiveness for early positioning.
1. The Binance Chain ecosystem remains the main focus, with clear on-site enthusiasm leaning towards $BNB ecological projects
In the exhibition area, I particularly paid attention to several projects that were repeatedly mentioned in the Binance Chain (BNB Chain) ecosystem and had significant exposure on-site:
Lista
Venus (XVS)
PancakeSwap (Cake)
ZeroHash
Superfortune $GUA
The common point of these projects is obvious; they are all in important positions within the Binance chain and have the shadow of ecological support in terms of resources and exposure.
Especially in areas like liquidity, lending, derivatives, and Abstract Accounts (AA), these remain the foundational infrastructure for ecosystem focus.
BNB Chain is still in a phase of rapid expansion, and each round of ecosystem support will directly benefit foundational projects. If you observe on-chain data, TVL, and active wallets, you can see they remain at the forefront of mainstream public chains. If these types of projects receive ecosystem resource tilt in the future, market reactions are often very direct.
2. Aster_DEX: one of the most popular projects at the exhibition
What surprised me most at this exhibition was the on-site popularity of Aster_DEX.
Whether it’s a large booth, interactive activities, or crowds, Aster_DEX is one of the most discussed projects in the entire exhibition area.
Although offline crowds do not equal value, this phenomenon usually indicates:
Strong operational capability
Precise strategies for the Asian and Middle Eastern markets
The project party is willing to invest resources to expand influence
Strong community momentum and high user participation
These traits are crucial at the beginning of a bull market, as mainstream funds often prioritize entering projects with 'high awareness + strong user enthusiasm.'
If Aster_DEX continues to maintain its current exposure, it is likely to become one of the focal points for on-chain user attention in the future.
3. Everywhere in Dubai, you can see Cristiano Ronaldo × Binance: fan tokens may usher in the next wave of opportunities.
On the streets, malls, and even airports in Dubai, you can see promotional banners of Cristiano Ronaldo collaborating with Binance.
Such large-scale physical advertising is usually not a short-term behavior but part of Binance's global branding strategy aimed at attracting sports fans and the general market into Web3.
This has led me to rethink the potential value of fan tokens.
The three most noteworthy fan tokens (all past clubs associated with Binance)
Santos
Porto
Lazio
Their advantages include:
1. Binance's strong exposure + sports star traffic support
2. International events like the World Cup and European Championship are likely to create price catalysts.
3. The use cases for fan tokens are gradually maturing (voting, ticketing, events, merchandise)
Fan coins have always been a category with strong narratives and strong cycles, but as sports IP digitization accelerates, they are no longer just simple marketing tokens but are gradually evolving into 'club membership digital assets.'
Dubai's strong offline advertising has further solidified my judgment about the catalysts for related tokens' future market trends.
4. A large number of actively promoted projects at the exhibition do not equal opportunities.
Although many projects participated in speeches, promotions, and shared visions at the exhibition, I believe that:
Projects that come to speak to you do not equate to real value.
Truly worthwhile investment projects often come from your observations rather than the promoters' claims.
No matter how beautifully many teams speak, they cannot replace these key indicators:
Do they have real users?
Is the product landing?
Is there ecosystem support?
Is there funding or exchange resources?
Is there sustained exposure online or offline?
This trip to Dubai has made me more certain:
Investment opportunities come from objective observations, not from official narratives.
5. My observations do not constitute your investment advice.
The above content is merely my observations at the Binance Blockchain Week in Dubai and not explicit investment advice. In the rapidly changing crypto market, any investment requires independent thinking and risk control.
But I believe that the firsthand trends observed on-site often show market direction earlier than online information.
To strategically position for the next round of potential tracks, I think we can continue to pay attention to:
1. Core projects of the Binance Chain ecosystem
2. Projects with high offline exposure and strong community momentum (like Aster_DEX)
3. Fan tokens (Santos / Porto / Lazio)
When the market starts in the future, these sectors are likely to become early beneficiaries.
