In just 2 months of futures trading, I lived through every emotion a trader can imagine:
💥 Started with 1M → grew it to 2M → liquidation.
💥 Second round: 4M capital → down to –2M → climbed to 8M → liquidation again.
💥 Had 100K left → pushed it to 3.6M → liquidated again.
💥 Final attempt: 1M capital → straight to loss.
When you add everything together,
🔻 Net total loss: ~6 million
🔺 Total profit made at peak moments: ~17 million
I tasted both sides of futures — the euphoria and the destruction.
And after losing more than I ever imagined, here’s the truth I finally understood:
🔑 Lessons Futures Taught Me (the hard way):
1️⃣ Big capital helps — but only if you control yourself.
2️⃣ Scalping 2–3 times max per day is enough. More than that = emotional trading.
3️⃣ Revenge trading will destroy even the strongest account.
4️⃣ Greed is the real liquidation button.
5️⃣ In futures, discipline is more important than strategy.
You don’t lose because the market is bad —
you lose because emotions take over.
