💎 $GRAM : Telegram Wallet is getting more serious
While Gram Wallet is being gradually rolled out to users, a fresh beta version of Telegram has found new features for the built-in wallet.

🖼 A new section called Collectibles appears — it will display the user’s NFTs.

💳 Wallet top-ups are being expanded: purchases from a bank card ($GRAM ) and crypto top-ups. In the beta code, they also discovered integration with a payment service for card purchases.

🔐 They continue to develop key protection and a backup recovery option for the wallet.

But there’s another interesting detail.

In the latest beta builds, the built-in wallet is no longer called Wallet — it’s now called Money. That name has appeared both in Telegram settings and in the chat attachment menu.

So the picture is fairly clear:

Telegram → Money → $GRAM → NFT → transfers → dApps

And all of this is being assembled right inside the messenger, step by step.

Gram Wallet is already live for a limited audience, and Durov promised to gradually roll it out to 1+ billion users.

Looks like, before the mass rollout, Telegram is continuing to collect more and more features in one place. 👀

It seems Telegram is preparing the groundwork for the next stage of deploying the Gram Wallet.

Users have started to lose the familiar Wallet tab, which has been in the Telegram menu since 2023.
And this is where it gets really interesting.

The old Wallet is being separated from Telegram and moved under a new brand, Walt. It will continue to exist as a standalone service with trading, multi-chain support, and other crypto tools.

And the freed-up space in the embedded wallet is intended for Telegram’s native Gram Wallet.
The Gram Wallet itself was technically launched back on August 31 and has so far been rolled out gradually to users. At the time, Durov promised to scale it to Telegram’s audience of 1+ billion people.

So, the disappearance of the old Wallet looks like another important step toward mass integration of the new wallet.

In the latest beta version of Telegram, changes were found again related to the built-in Gram Wallet.

Now, you can only import a seed phrase if this wallet was previously created inside Telegram.

Another change: in the money transfer window, a separate field has appeared showing the network commission calculation before confirming the transfer.
