A new scam attempt is exploiting the Binance security incident.

According to a warning shared by co-founder He Yi on 01/11/2026, criminals are sending small amounts of GRAM via Telegram, accompanied by messages impersonating official announcements from the exchange.

⚠️ How does the scam work?

The fake alerts claim that users’ assets are at risk and instruct them to transfer the assets to a supposed “Binance vault.”

The goal is to trick victims into sending cryptocurrency to addresses controlled by scammers.

🔐 How to protect yourself:

• Don’t transfer assets based on instructions received in unsolicited messages.

• Don’t connect your wallet to links sent by strangers.

• Don’t share recovery phrases, passwords, or authentication codes.

• Verify announcements directly through Binance’s official channels.

A message that looks official does not prove that it is authentic.
