Day 5 – Continuing to learn with every commentToday is July 5th. It's been 5 days since I started this journal, and one thing I notice is that I don't always know what to focus on, but a question or a comment from someone changes that. Today, thanks to a comment, I learned something new about moving average crosses. And since I was researching graphs, I also wanted to understand two words that I always read and never had clear: "support" and "resistance." What happens when moving averages cross? A short moving average (like the 7-day one) moves faster than a long one (like the 25 or 99).

#SpotVSFuturesStrategy Both, spot and futures trading, are ways to participate in Crypto market. Following are basic differences one should know about them: Sport Trade: Buying and selling of actual assets one owns. Trade in actual assets. Safe and less risk prone. Profits are time taking, but certain. Futures trade: It involves contracts to buy or sell virtual assets one doesn't own based on future prices. Long goes for buying and short goes for selling. If price moves other way, liquidation can hit. Trade in virtual assets. High profit, but more risky. What you people are doing mention in comments.

#SpotVSFuturesStrategy In trading, spot and futures strategies offer different risk-reward profiles. Spot trading involves buying or selling assets for immediate delivery, ideal for long-term holders who want actual ownership. It’s simple, but lacks leverage. In contrast, futures trading allows traders to speculate on price movements without owning the asset. It provides leverage, enabling higher potential returns—but also greater risks. A combined strategy can hedge risk: buy spot for long-term gains and use futures for short-term speculation or protection against volatility. Futures also offer arbitrage opportunities. Choose your strategy based on risk tolerance, capital, and market outlook. Trade smart, not just fast.

#SpotVSFuturesStrategy Spot trading involves buying or selling assets for immediate delivery, making it ideal for long-term investors seeking direct ownership. It's simple and lower-risk but requires full capital and offers no leverage. Futures trading, by contrast, involves contracts to buy or sell assets at a future date and price. Futures are commonly used for speculation and hedging, offering leverage and the ability to profit in both rising and falling markets. However, they carry higher risk, margin requirements, and expiration dates. Traders choose spot for stability and ownership, while futures suit active traders aiming to capitalize on short-term price movements.

#SpotVSFuturesStrategy I was previously in doubt and it even restricted me in the Spot, but everything I wanted in the market 🛒 was in the Future, not 🚫 because of the leverage but 🙂‍↕️ because of the possibility to Flip (Fall) and Fly 🪁 (Rise) with the market and make 💰.

#SpotVSFuturesStrategy Spot trading and futures trading are two distinct approaches to trading in financial markets. Here's a breakdown of the key differences: *Key Differences* - *Settlement Time*: Spot trading involves immediate settlement, where assets are exchanged for payment within a short timeframe. Futures trading, on the other hand, involves contracts for future delivery at a predetermined date. - *Ownership*: In spot trading, ownership of assets transfers immediately after a buy or sell transaction. In futures trading, ownership is based on a contract for future delivery. - *Risk and Leverage*: Spot trading typically doesn't involve leverage, limiting potential gains and losses. Futures trading allows for substantial leverage, amplifying potential returns but also increasing risk. - *Regulation*: Spot trading is generally less regulated compared to futures trading, which operates on regulated exchanges with standardized contracts. - *Flexibility*: Spot trading offers flexibility as transactions occur in real-time without future obligations. Futures trading involves contracts with fixed terms and expiration dates, limiting flexibility
