A compromised protocol.
A market event nobody predicted.
The real question isn't whether AI can make decisions.
It's who sets the boundaries for those decisions.
Would you give an AI agent unlimited access to your wallet just because it had a good track record?
Most people wouldn't trust a human trader with that much power.
So why would they trust an algorithm?
That's why I think the next phase of AI finance won't be won by the smartest models.

Permissions.
Policies.
Risk limits.
Authorization.
Not exactly the exciting buzzwords people love posting about.
But probably the ones that matter most.
A lot of projects are trying to build better AI.

The idea isn't to stop AI.
It's to make sure AI operates inside rules that users define.
