The Chief Economist of Permata Bank mentioned that the weakening of the rupiah is influenced by market uncertainty regarding the government's plan to establish a new SOE named PT Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia — investors are starting to pay attention to the direction of export governance policies that will centralize the export transactions of several commodities through this SOE.

LPEM FEB UI noted that the rupiah weakened by 2.69% month-on-month and about 7% year-on-year, with domestic factors weighing more heavily than external ones — including a low tax ratio, populist programs that burden fiscal policies, and potential contingent liabilities from Danantara. Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves also dropped by more than USD 10 billion due to interventions aimed at stabilizing the rupiah.

There's a major imbalance happening: 120 whale positions long versus 54 short, pushing the Long/Short ratio up to an extreme 183.53%.


Institutional players have entered at an average price of 0.0178 and are currently bagging raw profits of over $280K. With the funding rate hitting 0.0493%, the cost of maintaining long positions is becoming quite expensive. Conditions like this, known as a "crowded trade", usually lead to a sharp correction to flush out those retail traders who entered late.

I'm keeping an eye on the 0.021 level. If this area can hold, there's potential to push on to 0.025. However, if the 0.020 level breaks, the price will likely retrace back to the whale entry average at 0.0178. I'm opting to wait for a retest confirmation.

Hey fam! Anyone still tracking $CHIP (USD.AI)? For those who haven't done their homework, CHIP has a really strong narrative for 2026, which is AI Infrastructure Financing. Basically, they're focused on funding GPU operators through lending protocols. So, this coin has solid fundamental "fuel" in the AI sector.

Current Chart Watch 📊
If we peek at the chart (check the screenshot above), CHIP is currently chilling around 0.06590. After going absolutely wild right after listing and hitting around 0.14, it seems like the price is now in a consolidation phase, looking for a new foothold.

A few points to keep in mind:
Strong Support: The 0.061 – 0.065 area seems to be the buyers' stronghold right now. As long as the price doesn't dip below that, the chances of a rebound are still very much alive.

Next Target: If buyers manage to push it again, the immediate target is in the range of 0.080 - 0.10. If it breaks through, it's not out of the question that we might see a re-test of the 0.139 area again.

Sentiment: Transactions are still super active (Volume 2.5B CHIP!), which indicates that market interest in the AI narrative is still high and hasn't faded.
