🔎 A winning trade can leave an awkward question: was the decision sound, or did the result merely make it look sound?

⚖️ Profit can make a broken rule feel like an improvement. That is when the rule deserves a closer look.

🎭 Imagine entering before a planned confirmation. The trade finishes green. In the journal, the early entry quietly becomes “good instinct.”

🧠 In that story, the outcome has replaced the reason for acting. The missing condition disappears because nothing painful followed.

📝 Review the entry using only information available at the time. Record whether the condition existed before recording how much the trade made.

🧭 A result belongs in the ledger. It does not get to rewrite the plan.

🕰️ Waiting can feel unproductive when the screen is still moving.

🔎 The awkward part: doing something may create the feeling of progress while moving the decision further from the plan.

💭 Imagine a quiet session with no qualifying setup. After another chart refresh, a marginal entry starts to look reasonable. Nothing about the entry improved; the wait simply became uncomfortable.

⚙️ In that situation, the click has acquired a second job: proving the time at the desk was worthwhile. That is a different problem from finding a trade.

📝 A useful check is to name the missing condition before reconsidering the entry. Time already spent watching cannot supply it.

💡 Waiting is work when the job is selection.
