STOP 🛑 Run this 4-step checklist before opening your next trade!
Before you hit that "Buy" or "Sell" button on futures, make sure you can answer these 4 questions:
1. Why am I entering here? (Is there a clear setup, or am I just bored/FOMOing?)
2. Where is my invalidation point? (If the price hits X, I am wrong, and my Stop-Loss MUST trigger).
3. What is my Risk-to-Reward (R:R) ratio? (Is it at least 1:2 or 1:3? Never risk $100 to make $20).
4. Is my position size correct? (Am I risking only 1-2% of my total account on this trade?)
If you can't answer all four, close the order window and re-analyze. Protect your capital first, profits will follow. 💼
