Bitcoin.com Wallet now supports TRON natively๐ฅ
๏ฝBring USDT-TRC20 closer to everyday use with your wallet๏ฝ
Bitcoin.com Wallet has added native support for the TRON network.
This means users can, right within the app,
hold, send/receive, swap, and buy TRX and USDT-TRC20.
โ
Hold
โ
Send/Receive
โ
Swap
โ
Buy
Youโll be able to do all of that.
I think this is a pretty real-world, demand-driven kind of news.
What matters in crypto isnโt only the performance of the chain.
To actually be used,
it also matters that users can access it directly
from the wallet they use every dayโwithout friction.
Especially for USDT-TRC20,
itโs a network thatโs used a lot for
transfers between exchanges and USD-denominated payments.
But from the userโs perspective,
inserting yet another wallet, bridging,
or switching chains is a hurdle.
Bitcoin.com Walletโs CEO also commented that
users arenโt really looking at the chain nameโtheyโre looking at
โwho they need to payโ and
โwhat the other party wants.โ
And apparently, many of those cases
were about USDT on TRON.
Thatโs the essence, I think.
TRON is used not only because itโs technically impressive,
but because itโs needed in real payment and transfer scenarios.
And for that demand,
existing wallets are starting to adapt.
Bitcoin.com Wallet explains that within the app,
you can hold, send/receive, swap, and buy TRX and USDT-TRC20,
so you can use TRON without separate wallets or any bridging.
TRON goes from being a chain you use,
to a chain you can access
from your usual wallet.
That may look subtleโbut itโs a pretty big step forward ๐
