Unemployment claims fell to 215,000… a stronger-than-expected number.
That means:
✅ Strong economy
✅ Stronger dollar
✅ Less chance of aggressive rate cuts by the Fed
So what happened with Crypto?
Even though the data is good for the real economy, cryptos felt some initial pressure… but they’re already bouncing back:
BTC +1.87% | ETH +0.67% | XRP +0.86%
My take as a Crypto Accountant:
When employment is strong, the Fed becomes more “hawkish” (tougher) and that usually weighs temporarily on risk assets like Bitcoin and altcoins. But the market is digesting the data and we’re already seeing a rebound.
Key: Don’t fight the trend of a strong dollar. Manage risk and look for opportunities on quality dips.
