📰 CFTC ADVANCES VOLUNTARY REGULATORY FRAMEWORK FOR CARBON MARKETS?

The headline #CFTCAdvancesVoluntaryRegCAMFramework points to a potential regulatory development involving voluntary carbon markets.

Clear, consistent rules for carbon-credit derivatives could affect how these products are listed, traded, and overseen—especially around transparency and market integrity.

⚠️ I couldn’t verify the specific “RegCAM framework” announcement from the headline alone. The CFTC previously withdrew its 2024 voluntary-carbon-cr tedit derivatives guidance in September 2025, saying existing rules already covered these contracts. <Cite refs={["turn455187search0","turn455187search2"]}/>
