At first, I thought a long-biased ratio meant there were more long positions than short positions across the market. It took me a while to understand: the total number of long and short positions across the market is always equal. The account long/short ratio only compares how many accounts hold long positions versus short positions, regardless of position size.
A long-biased ratio doesn’t mean the market is about to rise, just as a short-biased ratio doesn’t mean it’s about to fall. It reflects how positions are distributed, not the direction of the market.
Learning how to read indicators is easy. The hard part is still following the rules when the market gets extremely volatile.

Just now, it plunged 3.98% in the past $AIOT 1 hours, and is currently at 0.08769. But over 24 hours, it’s still up 4.05%—a case of rising sharply and then pulling back. Don’t assume it’s cheap just because it’s fallen a lot; it could get even cheaper. What do you think?

In volatile markets, manage your risk first.

Over the past two weeks, I’ve used my .ai Agent ID wallet to have an Agent automatically claim free mints. My biggest takeaway wasn’t “how to be faster,” but “how to put limits on it.” Before every transaction, I make it simulate first: the value must be 0, there must be no changes to any approvals, and only the expected tokens can come in. The rules are written in my prompt, and it all depends on the Agent following instructions.
It wasn’t until I saw Kite’s Agent Passport that I realized this should be handled at the protocol level: use a passkey to approve a spending session with limits, say, $20 total and $5 per transaction. The Agent can pay through x402 within those limits; anything over is rejected, and the session can be revoked at any time. Establish identity and permissions first, then layer payments on top—instead of handing the Agent a private key and praying it doesn’t make a mistake.

Kite’s mainnet launches at the end of April, and starting in July it will support automatic x402 routing across Base, Tempo, and Solana.
What I’m more interested in seeing is real repeat usage: would ordinary people be willing to let an Agent spend money on its own within set limits every day?
