I've been trading contracts for so long—making small profits and taking big losses—and when I add it all up, I'm still in the red. What's strange is that even after the market beats me up, leaving me bruised, I still can't bring myself to get off the table. This obsession is toxic. Imagine having a 10,000 U position—if it rises by 1%, that's 100 U, basically a normal person's day's wages. If it's 20,000 U, and you catch a 5% swing, that's 1,000 U, easily wiping out the grueling struggle of a whole month as a corporate slave. This isn't trading at all—it's compressing months of blood, sweat, and hardship into a single big bullish candle. One light tap with your fingertips, and adrenaline and dopamine explode instantly. That illusion of “making money is so easy” can make you boil with excitement and fall completely under its spell. Later, I suffered massive losses, and the lesson was brutally clear. Desperate to win it back, I started reading obsessively and studying all kinds of indicators—from MACD to naked candlestick patterns. The deeper I learned, the more I felt like I'd “figured it out” with my own intelligence. But the market's favorite thing is slapping you in the face. You think you've analyzed the move down to the last detail, and then the market maker casually throws in some utterly senseless spike and instantly sends you back to zero. In that moment, I finally understood: indicators can help you see probabilities, but they can't save you from the greed and the luck-chasing inside human nature. I made it through a whole and a half cycle—going from fearless ignorance at the start, to blind arrogance in the middle, and now to the humility and calm that come with experience. I've finally slowed down. These days my mindset is much steadier. I'm no longer chasing the fantasy of “one trade to be free,” and I'm no longer throwing everything into a do-or-die bet. Contracts are never a shortcut for the poor to turn their lives around. They're a slaughterhouse specifically designed to amplify human flaws. This cycle, I'm still on the field. I don't aim to get rich overnight—I just want to live long and move steadily. I hope this time, I can give myself and those crazy years an honorable ending. The market is always cruel. Never overestimate your willpower, and never underestimate the power of black swans. To revere the market, protect your capital—that's the only ace we have to survive in ruthless candlestick charts. $UNI
Amazing, and here we go again! At 9 p.m. it suddenly dumped with increased volume. I was like, is the U.S. stock market open? Wasn’t it 21:30? Could daylight saving time have kicked in? I checked—daylight saving time is 22:30.
But hey, it’s fine as long as we profit. Feels like we can try for 158 again. Go, little rocket, take off! $SPCX
Even though this amount of money would probably disappear in a 4th/5th-tier city for a house, we still have to take it one step at a time—the goal needs to be realistic.
Since I entered the market, I feel like I’ve lost the equivalent of 50-plus (times). The good news is I bought a small car for getting around, and it also lets me subsidize my family, so I’m not completely useless 🥺.
I算了下: my current principal is 38695 U ≈ 257,321.75 CNY. Let’s just treat it as 250k RMB for now; it’s still 4x away from the goal. I don’t have more than 20k RMB in debt, so I won’t count that for the moment. For the next few months, I plan to use my salary for DCA into spot and won’t withdraw. I’ll live off the CMB (China Merchants Bank) Lightning Loan for now. Because it feels like a bull market is coming, I think I should be a bit bolder.
I plan to keep 5000 U to mess around with perps/contracts. Recently I wrote a market-making bot for #StandX Market Maker, and I plan to add another 5000 U to play with it (feels like the odds are pretty good).
My principal is really tight—I don’t have much room left…
It ran, it ran. This trade pulled back 700+U from the high. I originally wanted to wait and see if Monday's trend could break through in one go. But for now, resistance around 1816 is still very strong. No point in holding out anymore; better to take profits while ahead and secure the gains. There are plenty of opportunities. $SNDK
I’ve been in the crypto space for 5 years, and even now I still find myself asking: What coin should I buy now? Which sector should I bet on?
Because the information is relatively closed off and my analytical skills are weak, I end up scrolling a lot. I browse the Binance Plaza, check Twitter, read information like LOK and Deep Tide, and join communities.
But honestly, 80% of the Plaza and Twitter are just that—people running groups, stirring drama and fights, doing referral/commission schemes, or spamming promotions.
Still, I keep looking, because over time you’ll always find some seriously amazing people, and the content they put out is genuinely high quality. The more you scroll, the more you train yourself to take in as many different perspectives as possible, so you can build your own logical framework.
Along the way, I’ve gone in and out of 4–5 paid groups. Roughly, I’ve spent 3000+ U. For me, it’s not a small amount—because later I lost a lot of money too—but when I think about it now, I don’t regret it that much.
Because in this space, it’s actually worth it to pay a small price to step into traps. Also, I really did come across some great “treasure” communities.
You can feel what a good group is like: 1. High-quality people. The threshold itself is a filter. Some communities have thousands of members—if you don’t look for a while, it’s thousands of messages… I’m genuinely too lazy to read those. 2. High-quality logical frameworks. Watching how others break down a narrative, how they evaluate risk, and how they make decisions—these things gradually reshape the way you think. 3. Break the information bubble. 4. Chit-chat In a bull market, we celebrate together. In a bear market, we stick together.
Every time I scroll the marketplace, I see those big-shot figures who make profits in the tens of thousands of U seemingly at the drop of a hat—some even claim profits of more than a hundred thousand U. One deal can be tens of thousands, even a million. But in reality, the token price increase might only be around 1%. It makes me wonder how much capital they have, how high their leverage is, and how fierce their PNL is.
Especially those with names prefixed by the tag “Profit Ranking No. {n}”—they just feel so charming 😂
As for me, earning 100 U makes me really happy! Earning 1,000 U—well, that’s just extremely lucky! When will I ever be able to make 10k U in a single deal? I guess I’d have to go run around naked if that happens!
As long as you are strict with yourself, placing trades at the support level still has a pretty good win rate and value for money. Just place limit orders at the support level; if it doesn’t get filled, then that’s fine—don’t chase. If it does get filled, then thank God. Strictly cut losses. I feel the 4H support level is the most reliable. $SNDK
Looks like I still have a tiny bit of technical skill after all 🤡 $MU $SNDK each made over 1K. After TP, I kept a small core position and let storage run for a bit. But yesterday's drop almost shook me out. Luckily the lower wick closed long, and it feels like the bulls are still strong. (MU was opened on another platform)
Got it for almost a week, and finally fell over right before the breakthrough—it’s so volatile... My principal is small, so I play contracts, but with just a little fluctuation I can’t hold on. But after listening to Yu’s words, I still have some spot holdings. $LDO
