The crypto market is facing a major macro + regulatory test today.
๐บ๐ธ The CLARITY Act failed to advance in the U.S. Senate, with the cloture vote ending 49โ50.
๐ Bitcoin dropped below $76K ๐ธ U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw around $450M in outflows ๐ป XRP fell nearly 10% ๐ป ETH and SOL also moved lower
Meanwhile, the Federal Reserve's policy decision is due today. Markets are widely expecting a 25-basis-point rate hike, making the Fed statement and press conference especially important for crypto.
Another interesting development: Bitcoin's short-term correlation with traditional markets has weakened, suggesting crypto-specific factors are having a larger influence on price action.
Today could bring significant volatility. Keep an eye on BTC, ETF flows, and the Fed's guidance. ๐
Electrum has released version 4.8.2, bringing multiple security fixes and stronger protection across its codebase.
โก The update addresses a critical backup issue affecting some Lightning wallets using non-deterministic keys and anchored channels.
๐ก๏ธ It also includes: โข Stronger Lightning HTLC validation โข Rejection of malformed xpub/xprv keys โข Broader security hardening โข Android QR scanner protection against reading screenshots
โ ๏ธ Important for affected users: Electrum says users will receive a warning when starting the wallet and should export a new backup, because older backups may not correctly restore funds in the affected scenario.
This is Electrum's third security-focused release since July, following versions 4.8.0 and 4.8.1.
๐ฌ Security updates may not look exciting, but in crypto, wallet security is everything.

๐ Bitcoin at $13K? Hereโs Whatโs Actually Behind the Number
A recent report about Strategyโs internal model has caught the crypto marketโs attention.
The model suggests that Bitcoin could fall to around $13,136 before Strategyโs STRC reaches a 1ร BTC Rating.
But donโt misunderstand the headline. ๐
This doesnโt mean Strategy is predicting that Bitcoin will crash 83%.
The 1ร BTC Rating is a financial metric comparing the value of Strategyโs Bitcoin reserves with its debt and preferred-stock claims. Itโs a model threshold, not a BTC price prediction or an external credit rating.
Strategy reportedly holds 845,050 BTC, which makes Bitcoinโs price extremely important to the companyโs overall financial structure.
๐ My takeaway: Numbers like โ83% dropโ can definitely grab attention, but the context matters. This is a scenario from an internal model, not a prediction that BTC will actually reach $13,136.
Crypto markets are already volatile enough without headlines doing extra cardio. ๐
Whatโs your view on Strategyโs massive Bitcoin exposure? Bullish long-term strategy or significant risk?

๐ท๐บ๐บ๐ธ Putin Meets Trump Envoys as Ukraine Peace Talks Resume
Russian President Vladimir Putin met with U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner at the Kremlin on September 5 for more than three hours of talks focused on efforts to end the Russia-Ukraine war.
The meeting was described by the Kremlin as constructive and useful, with discussions reportedly covering possible next steps toward a settlement. Putin also ordered a temporary pause in Russian strikes on Kyiv, beginning at midnight, to support the diplomatic process as the U.S. envoys continued their mission.
Witkoff and Kushner are expected to continue discussions in Kyiv, signaling a renewed U.S. diplomatic push for a possible peace agreement.
๐ Key takeaway: The temporary pause could create space for diplomacy, but major disagreements between Russia and Ukraine remain unresolved.
Assalamualaikum everyone! My name is Shirin Mehak, from Pakistan. I learn crypto every day and share it here.
Today's topic: What is the difference between BTC and Altcoins?
**1. BITCOIN - BTC ๐** This is the "gold" of crypto. - The oldest and biggest coin - Lower risk, so people call it "safe" - The price rises slowly but also falls less - Like keeping an FD in the bank
**2. ALTCOINS - everything except BTC ๐** These are ETH, SOL, BNB, DOGE, ADA, and all the rest. - Higher risk - But they can also give 20-30% profit in 1 day - New projects start from here - Like small-cap stocks in the share market
**So what should we do?** Experts say: "Keep your portfolio balanced" Meaning: some BTC, some Altcoins.
But I am still new. I want to learn from you all โค๏ธ
**Tell me:** How is your portfolio? A) 80% BTC + 20% Altcoins - Safe players B) 50% BTC + 50% Altcoins - Balanced C) 20% BTC + 80% Altcoins - Risk takers
Write A, B, or C in the comments and also tell me the reason ๐ I will reply to everyone!

The US economy added 162K jobs in August, far above the 56K expected. July was also revised higher, while June and July together saw a 55K upward revision.
โ ๏ธ Not everything was positive. Information-sector employment fell by 23K, mainly across computing infrastructure, publishing, and broadcasting.
Overall, the labor market looks stronger than expected. Now the big question is: How will this affect the Fed's next move on interest rates? ๐
#USJobs #JobsReport #Fed #InterestRates #Crypto #Bitcoin ๐บ๐ธ US Jobs Report: The Revision May Matter More Than the Headline
The August jobs number came in strong at 162K, but the bigger story might actually be the revision.
July was previously reported at โ23K, but it has now been revised to +23K. Thatโs a 46K swing, turning July from a contraction into growth.
This also changes the Fed picture.
A second consecutive negative payroll reading could have made a September rate hike much harder to justify. But with July now positive, that concern has largely disappeared.
The revision trend has also turned more positive. June and July were revised up by a combined 55K, reversing the earlier narrative of a rapidly weakening labor market.
๐ Bottom line: The US labor market is showing more resilience than the previous data suggested.
Now the market has a new question: Does stronger employment give the Fed more room to keep rates higher for longer?
Nvidia is reportedly moving to acquire AI platform Hugging Face for nearly $13 billion, with up to $1 billion in stock retention awards for employees who join Nvidia. The deal highlights how aggressively major tech companies are investing in the AI ecosystem. ๐ค
At the same time, the Federal Reserve is watching inflation closely. Governor Christopher Waller said next weekโs August inflation data could heavily influence his next rate decision. If inflation continues moving toward the 2% target, he could support keeping rates unchanged. But if inflation comes in hotter than expected, a rate hike could remain on the table. ๐
Meanwhile, there is also disagreement inside the U.S. government over Anthropic. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said the companyโs issues with the Trump administration have been resolved, while a senior Pentagon official said the Defense Departmentโs supply-chain risk designation remains in effect.
๐ My takeaway: AI investment is getting bigger, while inflation and Fed policy remain key factors for markets. These two themes could have a major impact on tech stocks and broader market sentiment.
๐ญ๐ฐ Hong Kong stocks fell, mainly because tech shares came under pressure. ๐น๐ผ Taiwan dropped 307 points as investors sold several tech-related stocks. ๐จ๐ณ Mainland China stayed almost flat, while ๐ฐ๐ท South Korea managed a small recovery.
For crypto traders, the important thing is simple:
Traditional markets are showing mixed sentiment, not a clear risk-on or risk-off move yet.
Iโll be watching how global markets react next, especially tech stocks and liquidity.
What do you think? ๐ Bullish, bearish, or just normal market volatility?
๐บ๐ธ๐จ๐ฆ U.S.โCanada Trade Talks Break Down
U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick has put the blame largely on Canada after the latest trade negotiations fell apart at the final stage.
According to reports, Lutnick said Canadian negotiators introduced what he called โoutrageous demandsโ just hours before the deadline.
One of the major points reportedly involved medium- and heavy-duty trucks, which came up on Friday as negotiations broke down.
Lutnick even said he asked a Canadian minister:
โAre you trying to blow up the negotiations?โ
The response? They declined to comment.
Lutnick claimed Canada โdestroyed this negotiation for purely political reasons,โ while also acknowledging that the U.S. may have made some temporary demands during the talks.
The bigger issue is the potential impact on trade. If no agreement is reached, the previously threatened 50% U.S. tariff on Canadian goods could become a major economic pressure point. ๐
Now the question is whether both sides return to the table or allow tensions to escalate further.
Trade wars rarely stay limited to politicians. Markets usually have something to say about them too. ๐๐
Are those little Bitcoin dips making you nervous? ๐
Honestly, I donโt think thereโs much to panic about.
Over the last few months, weโve seen the market face heavy selling after almost every consolidation or recovery phase. That made sense because we were still dealing with a bear market, where dumps were stronger and pumps struggled to hold.
But this time, the price action looks different.
Iโve already said that this week could be a real test for BTC. After such a strong pump, the important thing is what happens next. If Bitcoin avoids a major dump and continues holding its ground, that could be a strong sign that the bear market may have already found its bottom and the market is transitioning into a new bullish phase. ๐
And if you look at the chart right now, BTC isnโt really breaking down. Itโs mostly moving sideways and consolidating.
Personally, I wouldnโt be surprised if the next big move is another pump rather than a deep correction. Small pullbacks can still happen, obviously. Nothing in crypto follows a script because apparently chaos needed its own financial market. ๐
