Tonight's CPI will also signal whether the Fed will continue raising rates at its next meetings Markets may be volatile around 20:30 If the data deviates significantly, volatility will continue after 21:30
A new token, $CHOP, has just launched on Robinhood Chain.
This isn’t an ordinary memecoin—it’s a volatility-mining protocol token.
On Robinhood Chain, any asset can participate in volatility farming, allowing users to earn from price swings even in choppy markets.
It’s called Chop (choppy price action), and it’s designed to capitalize on sideways, back-and-forth markets.
It’s only been live for a few days, but it’s already had a rally. Its market cap is still in the hundreds of thousands, it has over 1,000 holders, and liquidity is still there.
The narrative is fairly new, and the on-chain mechanics are a good fit. It’s an early-stage project worth keeping an eye on.
Its current market cap is about $530K, with a target of $3M.
October 14: U.S. CPI data release. If inflation continues to heat up, expectations of further rate hikes could rise again. If the data comes in as expected, markets may at least get some temporary relief.
October 28: Federal Reserve policy meeting. The Fed already raised rates once in September, and markets broadly expect it to hold rates steady in October for now. The main focus will be on whether it raises rates again in December and what signals the Fed sends.
November 3: U.S. midterm elections. The election results and expectations around related policies could also affect market sentiment and capital flows going forward.
For now, don’t rush to bet on a particular direction. Watch and wait, and consider your next move once inflation data, interest rate signals, and market reactions become clearer.
$ZC has fallen from its peak and given back most of its gains. Its market cap is now only around 3m, but liquidity is still there, and the number of holders continues to grow.
What makes this coin interesting is that it has not only a narrative, but also a product that’s actually been built. Remember “Snowmoon,” written by Vitalik? The currency used in Veridia is Zipcoin. The community later turned that concept directly into a product—it’s not just borrowing a name.
Burn tokens to speak: burn ZC to leave a permanent message on-chain (the louder you speak, the more you burn). Sales tax automatically goes into the treasury. It also supports cross-chain access to private notes, private AI chat, and more. Target: 10m.
After that last drop, many people probably thought it was done for. But unexpectedly, Vlad has brought the buzz back. If he keeps mentioning this ticker, there may be another opportunity to speculate.
Its market cap is currently around 3m. First, watch to see if it drops below 2m again, then consider getting in.
Of course, we’ll have to see whether the buzz lasts, so don’t rush in as soon as you see the news.
The unlock-related selling pressure we were concerned about is reportedly being absorbed through institutional OTC deals, with 3.75 million tokens not going directly onto the order books. In addition, the protocol has set aside $1.26 billion for buybacks and locking up tokens.
【Bullish case】Large token amounts are being traded OTC, so the immediate pressure to dump on the market may be lower. On top of that, buybacks and burns funded by protocol revenue could further tighten supply and demand.
If this round of shakeout is over, the next thing to watch is whether HYPE can break back toward its previous highs.
Altcoins have been surging lately, so it’s not as easy for highly volatile coins to attract a large number of short sellers. There are so many promising picks that everyone’s busy going long—who would be willing to short so readily?
Unless a project team is playing games and deliberately creating volatility, it’s hard to build up a large number of short positions.
So lately, I think it’s more reliable to look for projects with solid fundamentals and positive catalysts than to chase volatile coins. The market also feels a bit prone to indiscriminate pumps lately, so stick with the positions you believe in and don’t let the market’s pace drag you along.
On the other hand, once the market as a whole starts to fall, those volatile coins may become active again.
$LINK has returned to 13.5 and is testing the lower boundary of the 4-hour range.
Large on-chain transfers reached 681 in a single day. ETFs have seen net inflows again since September 10, and CCIP has also connected six institutions, including Aave.
【Bullish reasons】ETF inflows have returned, large on-chain transactions are active, and the real-world applications enabled by the CCIP 2.0 upgrade are worth keeping an eye on.
The key thing to watch next is whether it can get back above 14. If it holds there, then 15.5 is the next level to watch.
I think we still need a short-term pullback, ideally with one more retest of the lows. That would make the subsequent rise more stable.
If there is another retest, I personally don’t think the price will fall too far. BTC around 81,500 and ETH around 2,440 could both be worth buying directly.
Of course, the price may not reach those levels all at once, but I think there’s still a chance it will touch both. A bit more shakeout first would make the next rise more stable.
Meme traders are as devoted to Solana as DeFi traders are to Ethereum, and as early OGs are to Bitcoin.
People naturally favor the things they’ve experienced firsthand and been deeply involved in. It’s not just about the money—it’s also about emotion and memories.
But the market won’t keep giving you opportunities just because you once made money in a particular ecosystem.
It’s already difficult to step outside your own frame of reference and reassess a new narrative; making money in a new field is even rarer.
There are only two rules for surviving in crypto: let go of your biases and stay in the game longer.
It’s the weekend, and some small players in the altcoin market are already starting to stir, pumping prices to attract attention.
But I’ve looked around and haven’t found anything worth getting into for now. The real heavy hitters won’t rush in while the broader market’s direction is still unclear; they’ll mostly wait and move with the trend.
Let’s be patient and wait a bit. I think we should see some movement in the broader market by Sunday night at the latest.
My view hasn’t changed: there’s a 30% chance it moves straight up, and a 70% chance it pulls back first.
Let’s see what the broader market does. Don’t rush to chase just because you see altcoins pumping.
Is BTC’s pricing power shifting back from ETFs to “old money”?
BTC ETFs have seen consecutive outflows recently, totaling $729 million over two trading days. But BTC didn’t keep crashing—instead, it rebounded from $80,400 to around $82,500.
ETF funds are pulling out, while BTC is holding its ground. There’s something worth thinking about here.
Data shows that mid-sized whales holding 10–10,000 BTC have accumulated 86,702 BTC over the past three weeks, worth about $8.6 billion.
BlackRock is a notable exception. It made net purchases of $1.57 billion over the past month, and IBIT accounts for 62.3% of total U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF holdings.
Meanwhile, Treasury yields are climbing: the 10-year yield has risen to 5.28%, and the 30-year to 5.63%. In a high-interest-rate environment, momentum-chasing investors are naturally more likely to head for the exits.
So ETF outflows don’t mean every institution is selling, and price resilience doesn’t mean a bottom is confirmed.
The two things to watch next are whether whales keep accumulating and when ETF outflows start to ease.
What really matters isn’t just how much money is leaving, but who’s still buying steadily.
Toncoin changed back to GRAM and also launched new code, but as a result it fell 12% in a week. TVL has not recovered, and the moving averages have been putting pressure on it.
A name change is just surface-level work; TVL is the key. If TVL shows no improvement, there is not much to expect from a rebound. If it breaks below 1.34, don’t buy yet.
Bearish reasons: the positive news has already been priced in, and TVL still hasn’t warmed up.
