#bitcoinshorttermholdersreach4.08mbtc Bitcoin Short-Term Holder (STH) supply has expanded to 4.08 million BTC, marking a fresh four-month high and representing a ~12% increase (422,000 BTC added) since late July. On-chain data highlights accelerated accumulation by new market entrants buying within the $82,000–$86,000 price range. While growing STH balance reflects strong retail and short-term institutional demand, it also increases market sensitivity near the STH aggregate cost basis around $74,900. Market Analysis & Structural Assessment Rapid growth in Short-Term Holder supply increases local volatility risk and narrows profit cushions during market pullbacks. When new market participants aggressively absorb supply near local resistance, the overall market cost basis shifts upward. While this confirms fresh capital inflows, STH entities typically exhibit higher elasticity and lower conviction compared to Long-Term Holders (LTH). If spot prices retest lower demand zones, a larger portion of the STH cohort risks going underwater, making defense of the $80,000 baseline crucial to avoid speculative stop-loss cascades. Lower Timeframe Zone ($BTC ): $80,200–$81,500 functions as the primary structural demand floor. Preserving stability above this base prevents short-term holders from falling underwater and maintains mid-term bullish continuation toward major supply targets. Highlighted Tradeable Assets (On-Chain Dynamics & Market Benchmarks): $BTC (Bitcoin): Benchmark reserve asset; tracking STH realized price ($74,900), spot volume absorption, and market structure defense above $82,000. Current Spot Price: ~$83,100 Target 1 (Immediate Resistance): $85,000 – Primary horizontal supply breakout barrier. Target 2 (Mid-Term Expansion): $87,800 – Structural momentum expansion target. Key Support / Invalidation: $80,200 – Critical lower timeframe demand floor. #bitcoin #onchaindata #cryptotrading #MarketAnalysis
