CK Zheng, former head of Global Valuation Risk at Credit Suisse, is forecasting a new bullish phase for Bitcoin. Zheng notes that the market is healthier now than it was during the 2022 crypto crisis. At the time, the collapse of major players such as Terra, Luna, Celsius, Voyager, and FTX dealt a serious blow to investor confidence. Although the four-year Bitcoin cycle remains relevant, Zheng expects a new bullish phase to begin in late 2026 or early 2027. Further regulatory progress could also support this process. In addition, Zheng points to the U.S. fiscal outlook as an important catalyst. Rising U.S. debt could prompt large institutional investors to seek alternative assets and boost demand for Bitcoin.

Overall, Zheng’s forecast points to a strengthening market, supported by improved regulation, greater institutional participation, and macroeconomic factors. These factors could propel Bitcoin to new highs by 2027.
