I've been keeping a close eye on the market today, and things are looking interesting. After a nice macro-driven bump pushed $BTC past $81,000 earlier this week, we are currently seeing some healthy consolidation right around the $79,600 mark.

What really caught my eye in today's news is that long-term Bitcoin holders (wallets that haven't touched their coins in over 5 years) are suddenly moving data on-chain at double their usual rate.

As a beginner, I used to think “Oh no, are they getting ready to dump?”

But after digging deeper, analysts say this kind of movement during a price consolidation usually just means people are reshuffling their security, updating cold wallets, or taking self-custody—not necessarily selling off their positions.

Meanwhile, #bnb and the broader market are holding steady as we head into the weekend. Instead of stressing over the hourly candles, I’m sticking to my plan: keeping it simple, watching the data, and letting my DCA do the work.

September is officially here, and the classic crypto boogeyman "Red September" is on everyone's mind. Historically, Bitcoin averages a ~4% drop during this month. But is 2026 going to break the curse? 🤔

Let’s look at the facts:
1. The August Squeeze
We just witnessed a major short-squeeze that briefly forced $BTC from the low $60ks up toward $80,000. Currently, we are seeing minor consolidation around $77,300.
2. Key Levels
To confirm a structural bullish reversal, the bulls must accept and hold above $78,340. If we fail, expect a retest of the 200-day EMA support near $72,200.
3. Altcoin Chop
$ETH failed to clear its 50-week moving average at $2,550 and is dragging sideways. Meanwhile, capital rotation is moving heavily into stablecoins and AI-driven narratives.

Keep your eyes locked on mid-September. The upcoming Federal Reserve rate decision and the Senate’s CLARITY Act cloture vote happen almost simultaneously, which will trigger massive volatility.
