After news broke that Brother Sun was accumulating coins, the whale $PEPE finally made a move. Address 0x2da…65e69 has acted on PEPE again after a year, transferring 1.45 trillion tokens to a new address, 0x803…1E213. Between May 2023 and August 2024, the holder had accumulated a total of 4.03 trillion tokens at an average cost as low as $0.000001185. The remaining tokens are currently sitting on unrealized gains of $5.106 million, after those gains briefly peaked at $32.77 million at the end of 2024.

Binance has always wanted to create a decent meme coin, but BSC just hasn’t had a meme coin like SHIB or PEPE that can stand the test of time. So this cycle, Binance really wants to create a meme coin with a market cap in the tens of billions. But a meme coin like that needs support from both overseas and local communities. The strongest thing is when most people believe in it. This year, Binance launched a few tokens and took most of the supply, hoping to get all these overseas users to come and play on BSC. But if a meme coin gets shaken out too aggressively and retail investors all leave, do you think it can still go the distance? Binance always seems to think the token needs to be shaken out to find committed holders. But committed holders need the price to be pushed up and supported. If a meme coin keeps shaking people out until everyone has sold, then what’s the point of getting those overseas users to come and play on BSC? Overseas users will just feel that holding BSC meme coins is a terrible experience, far worse than SOL, Base, and Robinhood. Please give this some thought! @yzilabs2026 @heyi @CZ

On altseason, I think some positive signals are already emerging: 1. Sentiment bottom: The market has given up on the prospect of an altseason, and there are no crowded positions that piled in early. 2. Positioning bottom: Many established altcoins have repeatedly sold off, weak hands have been shaken out, and leverage has been thoroughly flushed. Selling pressure is very weak during sharp drops. 3. Divergence: The sell-offs are mainly hitting assets that had a premium and unrealized gains earlier, such as NEAR, ZEC, and NEA, which I’ve mentioned often lately. There’s no indiscriminate sell-off, suggesting that liquidity isn’t fleeing the entire market—people are just taking profits on earlier speculative plays. 4. Capital flows: Capital in the market is concentrated in BTC; it hasn’t left the crypto market altogether. This leaves room for a potential rotation into altcoins in the future. So, what conditions would actually trigger an altseason? 1. Signs that capital is rotating out of BTC: During BTC’s next rally, investors begin taking profits at higher levels, with some of that capital spilling over into altcoins. 2. TOTAL2 (the total market cap excluding BTC) stabilizes against BTC’s market share and starts rising consistently. 3. A clear, sustainable dominant narrative emerges and drives a sector-wide rally—for example, more altcoin ETFs getting approved, or narratives like RWA + AI agents that can bring traditional financial capital on-chain. 4. Stablecoin supply increases, bringing in new capital rather than just money changing hands within the market. When nobody believes in an altseason anymore, it doesn’t necessarily mean one is about to arrive—but it’s definitely a good time to consider positioning in quality altcoins. Just my personal opinion, not investment advice.

Now let’s make a plan to buy the dip during this bull-market correction. Bitcoin has been trading around 80,000 for a month. I’m sure many people are already feeling miserable, being tossed between euphoria and despair by this choppy market. But we need to stay calm, because opportunities take shape amid pessimism. We’ve said that there are two major buy signals in a bear market: 1. There’s broad consensus that it’s a bear market. 2. Pessimism leads to a consensus around an absurdly low price. We need to use these two signals to guide our upcoming buying plan. Since we’re still in a bull-market correction, even a bottoming phase will be gentler than a bear market. So let’s adapt these signals to better identify a bottom during a bull-market correction: 1. People start to doubt that the bull market is still intact. 2. Pessimism leads to a consensus around an even lower price. Whether the market continues to move sideways or takes a sharp dive, people’s emotions will be the same when it comes to confirming a bottom. When we see ourselves and most other people starting to doubt whether the bull market is still alive, and we keep seeing people tout an even lower price, that’s when we should go all in. At a true bottom, people won’t reject an absurdly low price. If we’re only in the middle of a correction, most people will push back against it, because greed is still there and bullish sentiment remains strong. For example, if you see lots of people starting to say Bitcoin will fall to 70,000, or even below 70,000, don’t just foolishly wait for that price. Be bold and act at that point. 1. If you still have cash left, deploy it all. 2. If you’re already fully invested, consider a coin-margined contract with a 10% position. The essence of a bottom is that selling pressure has been exhausted. To shake out everyone who lacks conviction, most people need to believe that prices will fall further and lower—not doubt that possibility. The best signal for testing whether we’re in that state is “consensus around an even lower price.” Another benefit of this signal is that it gives us an adequate margin of safety. Most people who sell at a loss or get liquidated do so because they bought at the wrong stage—usually by chasing the first major drop. The typical sentiment at that point is FOMO-driven dip-buying and greedy bullishness. When our signal appears, it’s much easier to buy near the bottom. Even if prices fall further, the drop is likely to be small. Most of the time, we stay on the sidelines, waiting for key signals. When they appear, we act decisively. $ETH

Have you noticed a pattern? Before 2021, altcoins acted as cover for Bitcoin. After Bitcoin peaked, it traded sideways at high levels while people sold off, and altcoins were pumped to create the illusion that Bitcoin hadn’t peaked. Now it’s completely the opposite: after altcoins peak, Bitcoin trades sideways at high levels to cover for selling, creating the illusion that altcoins will keep climbing.$BTC

I’m convinced that $BTC has finished its second test of the bottom. It won’t fall any further—the damn market makers won’t let retail investors get in at a lower price than they did. So stay bullish on November. Whether interest rates go up or not doesn’t matter anymore.

Partly True
People beg me for a Bitcoin price prediction, so it's finally time to give it to you: Kiyosaki once pushed me for a number on a 10 to 15 year timeframe, so I said millions of dollars per Bitcoin in the 2030s. People find that unimaginable and crazy. What they don't take into account is the hyperinflation of the US dollar, which is underway right now, as it is with all fiat currencies, all the time. Anyone who's ever opened a history book knows that paper currencies unbacked by commodity money like gold or silver must end in hyperinflation. There's every incentive to print it into worthlessness, and no safeguard against such printing. They're either conquered and replaced, or they hyperinflate. That's literally the only thing that ever happens, without exception. As Charlie Munger says, show me the incentive and I'll show you the outcome. If you create a currency that can be printed ad infinitum with no restrictions, and it rewards the printer for printing it, what do you think is going to happen? They print the thing until it goes to zero. Of course. The dollar is a fiat currency shitcoin. So when you denominate Bitcoin in dollars, Bitcoin trading in the millions and tens of millions is as certain as the dollar being printed into worthlessness. I know that sounds scary if you're used to the dollar working. But you've got to zoom out. As Schopenhauer said, every man takes the limits of his field of vision for the limits of the world. Don't make that mistake. Study the fate of fiat currencies and you'll understand. This could be a multi-decade, multi-generational game. But directionally, I can say with a very high degree of certainty: Bitcoin number go up, US dollar number go down. So my prediction is that the Bitcoin price will go up forever.$BTC {future}(BTCUSDT)

Bitcoin has finally fallen below $80,000. It’ll probably carve out a bottom before the rate-setting meeting at the end of the month. If you’re brave, you can get ready to buy the dip. If you’re more cautious, you can wait until after the meeting. Honestly, though, my advice is still to dollar-cost average. It’s the only way to stay on the winning side. When you’re trading risky assets, how much you make is never the most important thing—managing risk and protecting your principal matter far more. The only thing really weighing on Bitcoin right now is the number of rate hikes. As long as we don’t see the kind of relentless, crazy hikes we had in 2022, they’re just paper tigers. Market fear is a good thing, too. Fear is what shakes out the weak hands and makes the ride lighter; the lighter the ride, the faster Bitcoin can turn around. $BTC
