🚨 Ethereum Falls Below $2,400 After $860M in Long Liquidations — Who’s Next?
Ethereum has dropped below the critical $2,400 level following a massive wave of long liquidations reportedly totaling $860 million. This is a serious warning for leveraged traders because forced selling can accelerate a decline when buyers fail to defend support.
🔥 WHY THIS MATTERS
When traders use leverage to bet on rising prices, even a relatively small drop can trigger liquidations. Those forced closures add selling pressure, potentially pushing prices lower and triggering another round of liquidations.
🎯 THE NEXT LEVELS TO WATCH
📉 Below $2,400: If ETH remains below this level and attempts to reclaim it fail, selling pressure could persist. Traders may then watch the $2,300 area, followed by $2,200, as potential downside zones.
📈 Recovery above $2,400: If buyers reclaim $2,400 and hold it as support, ETH could attempt a recovery toward $2,500. A stronger move above that zone would improve the short-term outlook.
