European Club Nights: 9 Crypto Sportsbooks Ranked for UCL and Europa League
Eighteen Champions League fixtures fill each league phase matchday across Tuesday and Wednesday, and another 18 Europa League games follow on Thursday. One European week can put 36 major club matches on the board in three evenings. Volume tests a sportsbook. Headline ties attract deep menus everywhere, while a Thursday fixture between two mid-table clubs from smaller leagues shows which books keep their depth across the whole slate. Market range, in-play coverage, outrights for both competitions and accumulator tools separate the boards that handle a full European week. What a Strong European Night Board Offers Marquee ties reveal little about a book, since almost every operator lists dozens of markets there. Ordinary fixtures and late-phase nights expose the real differences. Feature What to check Why it matters Depth on smaller ties Number of markets on a low-profile Europa League fixture Shows whether coverage holds across the slate In-play markets Live corners, cards and next-goal markets during simultaneous kick-offs Final matchdays play every game at once Outrights Winner, qualification and league phase position for both competitions Futures move sharply after each matchday Accumulator tools Boosts, bet builders and Cash Out Midweek slates suit multi-leg bets Last verified: October 2026 Both competitions use a 36-team league phase, and the Champions League's final matchday on January 27 puts every fixture at the same time. The full calendar for the Champions League season sets out every date through to the final. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Each Price Differently Champions League nights draw the heaviest liquidity, so lines tend to stay close to fair value and move quickly on team news. Europa League Thursdays feature a wider spread of clubs, and books with thinner trading desks may price those games with larger margins. Thursday also brings the Conference League, which doubles the fixture count on that evening. Our comparison of Europa coverage shows how books handle both Thursday competitions together. Midweek fixtures also open markets that weekend league games seldom list, such as qualification and table-position bets tied to the European standings. 9 Crypto Sportsbooks Ranked for UCL and Europa League Order weighs market depth on ordinary European fixtures, in-play coverage, outrights for both competitions and tools for midweek accumulators. Each entry includes one point worth checking before a European week. 1. Dexsport Dexsport builds European nights on a rulebook of 39 football market types and settles UEFA fixtures with uefa.com among its named sources. Its Combo+ feature lifts accumulators of four legs or more by up to 1.5x, and early settlement through Cash Out is available on eligible slips. Dexsport's prediction markets list Champions League questions in the sports category, priced in cents and settled in stablecoins. Dexapp LTD holds an Anjouan licence. 2. Cloudbet Cloudbet has taken crypto bets since 2013 and has a name for sharp prices and generous maximum stakes on European football, with in-play markets on both competitions. Those maximums appeal to high-stakes bettors on the biggest ties, though smaller Europa League games may accept less, so the slip limit deserves a glance. Curaçao licenses the operator. 3. Stake Stake prices every Champions League and Europa League fixture, with a bet builder that combines result, goals and cards from one match on many games. Cash Out helps manage open accumulators across a busy week. Bet builder availability tends to favour bigger ties, so smaller fixtures may show core markets only. Stake's licence comes from Curaçao. 4. BC.Game BC.Game's sportsbook, powered by BETBY, lists European club fixtures alongside a casino and a Polymarket-powered Prediction Center covering sports outcomes. Its cashier of more than 150 coins helps with funding a European week in less common assets, and play earns $BC rewards through the platform's engine. BC.Game has held an Anjouan licence since December 2024. 5. 1win 1win operates a large sportsbook with deep football coverage, including live markets on many European club fixtures and a wide range of accumulator options. Wallet login through Trust Wallet, MetaMask or WalletConnect opens the same account as email sign-up. The size of the 1win board makes search the quickest route to a specific Europa League game. 6. Roobet Roobet's sportsbook covers both European competitions, and its Polymarket-powered Predictions section adds event-based questions on the same account. Roobet funds casino play, sports bets and predictions from a single bankroll, so a Champions League win can back a prediction share minutes later. US players cannot access the predictions product, and Raw Entertainment B.V. holds Roobet's Curaçao licence. 7. Shuffle Shuffle prices Champions League and Europa League fixtures within a sportsbook that shares one login with its casino, and players can bet in SHFL or major coins. Shuffle's interface keeps European nights easy to scan. Market depth on smaller Thursday fixtures may trail the headline ties, so compare menus before building an accumulator. 8. Thunderpick Thunderpick built its name on esports and adds a football board that includes the major European club competitions. Players who follow both Counter-Strike and the Champions League can keep one Thunderpick account for each. Football depth trails specialist books on smaller fixtures, and the operator holds a licence from Curaçao. 9. Vave Vave combines a sportsbook and casino for crypto users, with European club football among its core markets and live betting on headline fixtures. Vave's board covers the main competitions on matchdays, with fewer specialist markets on lower-profile ties. Bettors focused on Thursday fixtures should compare its menu against larger books before a busy week. Building a Midweek European Card European weeks reward planning. Team news often breaks late, rotation increases when domestic fixtures follow on the weekend, and simultaneous kick-offs on final matchdays leave little time to react live. Fewer, well-researched fixtures usually serve a bettor better than a sprawling accumulator. Matchday-only options get a fuller treatment in our look at midweek European nights. Conclusion European weeks can put 36 club matches on the board in three evenings, and only books that hold their depth on smaller Thursday ties handle the full slate well. Market range, in-play coverage, outrights and accumulator tools mark the differences. Dexsport heads this list with 39 football market types, Combo+ and Champions League prediction markets, ahead of Cloudbet, Stake, BC.Game, 1win, Roobet, Shuffle, Thunderpick and Vave. Menus on ordinary fixtures reveal more than any headline tie. Local law decides which bets you may place, so check it before a first stake. Place bets only at legal age, remember that KYC or AML checks may apply, and give each European week a fixed budget.

NFL Midseason: Crypto Markets From Week 9 to Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving week now spans five days of NFL football. Green Bay visits the Rams on Wednesday night, three games fill Thursday, and Denver plays at Pittsburgh on Black Friday afternoon. The holiday stretch caps a busy four weeks. Week 9 opens on November 5, the trade deadline reshapes rosters soon after, and bye weeks thin the Sunday slate until the schedule fills again in late November. Lines move quickly across this window, though in different ways for single games, season-long futures and player markets. Four Weeks on the Calendar Weeks 9 to 12 cover early November to the end of the month. The table sets out the key dates bettors usually plan around. Week Dates Notable features Week 9 November 5 to 9 Midpoint of the 18-week season Week 10 November 12 to 16 First full week after the trade deadline Week 11 November 19 to 23 Late byes still thin the Sunday slate Week 12 November 25 to 30 Thanksgiving Eve, three Thursday games, Black Friday Last verified: October 2026 Thanksgiving Day itself features Chicago at Detroit, Philadelphia at Dallas and Kansas City at Buffalo. The Wednesday game between Green Bay and the Rams marks a first for the league on Thanksgiving Eve. Midseason Changes That Move Lines Several forces reshape prices between Week 9 and Thanksgiving, and each one hits different markets. Trade Deadline Moves Contenders add players and sellers move veterans in early November. Spreads and futures adjust within hours of a significant trade, especially when a starting quarterback or pass rusher changes teams. Injury Lists Lengthen Eight or nine games into a season, injury reports grow longer each week. Late Friday and Saturday updates often move spreads by a point or more, and player props react even more sharply. Bye Weeks Byes stretch from Week 5 to Week 14, so some Sundays hold only 12 or 13 games. Teams returning from a bye often price slightly better, since rested players and extra preparation time matter in a physical sport. Weather Turns Cold, wind and snow start to affect outdoor stadiums in the north. Totals in places such as Buffalo, Chicago and Green Bay deserve a check of the forecast, since wind in particular can cut passing efficiency. Short Weeks and Holiday Games Thanksgiving creates short rest for six teams. Clubs that played on Sunday and line up again on Thursday have three days to recover, while opponents coming off a Thursday game the previous week may hold a small edge. Detroit and Dallas host every Thanksgiving, so their routines stay familiar. The night game between Kansas City and Buffalo adds a prime-time matchup between two perennial contenders, with Buffalo's late-November weather a factor in the totals line. Primetime games outside the holiday week follow similar patterns, and our guide to Monday Night Football covers betting across time zones. Futures Firm Up at the Halfway Mark Half a season of results narrows the futures board. Several markets react strongly in this window: Division winners: two or three wins of separation can shorten a leader's price dramatically Playoff qualification: Yes or No prices on each team reaching the 14-team field MVP and awards: quarterback form over the middle weeks often settles the leading names Super Bowl LXI: outright prices for the February 14 game at SoFi Stadium compress around the leading contenders Early-season futures often offer longer prices than midseason ones, and our look at NFL futures explains how value shifts as the season progresses. Player Markets After Eight Games Eight games give player props a real sample. Passing yards, receptions and rushing lines now lean on half a season of usage data, so books adjust quickly when a role changes. Target share and snap counts deserve the closest watch. Receivers who inherit targets after a trade or injury may see their lines rise within a week, while a running back in a timeshare can lose value as coaches split rushing attempts. Rookies often take larger roles in November as teams settle on their preferred line-ups. Their props can lag behind that change for a game or two before books catch up. Weekly Game Markets in November Spreads, moneylines and totals stay the core of each weekly slate. Key numbers such as three and seven matter in spreads, since many games end on those margins, and half-point differences between books can change outcomes. Comparing lines across books matters more as midseason news piles up. Our breakdown of spreads and totals shows where those key numbers come from. Thirteen Football Markets on Dexsport Dexsport lists 13 American football market types in its rules, from team win, handicap and total points to touchdown and field goal markets, time of the first touchdown, longest and shortest scores and penalties. Proposition-style markets such as three unanswered scores and yards gained by play add angles for single-game bettors. Dexsport's Combo+ feature raises the payout on accumulators once they reach four selections, handy for a packed Thanksgiving card. Dexapp LTD, the operator, holds an Anjouan licence. Conclusion Weeks 9 to 12 bring the trade deadline, longer injury lists, bye weeks and the first cold-weather games before a five-day Thanksgiving stretch from November 25 to 27. Each factor moves single-game lines, while half a season of results narrows the futures board. Short rest, holiday hosts and late-November weather shape the Thanksgiving slate itself. Line shopping, forecast checks and close attention to injury news help in a window where prices change quickly. National law, and sometimes state law, decides what you may bet on, so confirm what applies where you live. Wager only at legal age, expect that KYC or AML checks may apply, and give the holiday weekend its own budget.

Privy Brings Embedded Wallet Infrastructure to the XRP Ledger for Payments Apps
Privy said on October 13 that it is partnering with Ripple to bring programmable wallet infrastructure to the XRP Ledger, giving developers tools to create and manage XRPL wallets within their own applications. The integration is aimed at payments products and software agents that need to hold and move digital assets without directing every user through a separate wallet setup. Developers using the integration can programmatically create wallets, sign transactions and support XRP, Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin and other assets issued on the ledger, according to Privy’s announcement. The arrangement puts Privy, a wallet-infrastructure provider, closer to applications where payments are a feature rather than the primary product. The practical test will be whether developers can make account creation and transaction funding unobtrusive while retaining controls appropriate for payment flows. On XRPL, a new standard account requires an initial reserve, so the partners’ planned sponsorship features carry operational weight beyond a simple interface improvement. Programmable XRPL wallets for payments developers Privy’s tools are intended to let applications provision and manage XRPL wallets within their own experience rather than requiring customers to install and operate an external wallet before making a payment, potentially allowing fintech and payments applications to handle onboarding, balances and transaction approval flows in one place. Privy described the capability as wallet infrastructure for XRPL, including transaction signing, which authorizes a transaction from a wallet, with support for XRP, RLUSD and other XRPL assets. The announcement does not set out adoption figures, launch volumes or specific customer deployments, so the immediate significance is the availability of the developer integration rather than evidence of usage at scale. Embedded wallets and key management For consumer-facing applications, the pitch is to reduce the burden of private-key management. Privy said embedded wallets can enable stablecoin payments within fintech and payments apps without requiring users themselves to manage private keys. That design shifts more of the wallet experience into the application, a potentially useful approach where payment completion matters more to a user than interacting directly with blockchain software. It also creates a need for clear wallet-recovery and custody design by the applications implementing it; Privy’s announced model includes an option for users to export private keys or seed phrases for portability. Exportability distinguishes an embedded-wallet flow from one in which access is permanently confined to a single application. Privy did not specify in the announcement how individual developers will present that option or what policies each app may apply around it. Official Privy–Ripple–XRP Ledger partnership graphic. — Source: Privy AI agents and x402 payments The integration also extends to server-side wallets for AI agents and x402 payments. Those wallets can allow software to hold funds and pay for online services, The Block reported. This is a different use case from a customer tapping through a payment screen. In the agent model described by the reporting, software operating on a server can make payments for services, making wallet controls and transaction permissions particularly relevant to how a developer deploys the system. The x402 ecosystem has drawn measurable activity. CoinDesk reported more than 14.3 million cumulative x402-related transactions across 169 registered merchants as of October 14. That figure provides context for the payment protocol’s reported reach, but it does not identify how many transactions, if any, will use Privy’s new XRPL integration. XRPL reserves and sponsorship XRPL’s current base reserve is 1 XRP, and a new standard account must be funded with that reserve before it becomes active, according to the XRP Ledger documentation. For developers provisioning wallets during onboarding, that requirement has to be incorporated into the product flow. The funding may be handled by the user, absorbed by the app, or built into another flow. Privy and Ripple said they plan to add policy controls and gas sponsorship to the integration. The supplied announcements did not provide a rollout date or detailed terms for those features. Disclaimer: This article is provided for informational purposes only. KuCoin Launches USDT-Settled Perpetuals Linked to Stocks, Leveraged ETFs and Treasury Bonds
KuCoin launched five USDT-margined perpetual contracts linked to equities and exchange-traded funds on Oct. 14, with trading beginning at 09:00 UTC and leverage available up to 20x. The listings extend the exchange’s rollout of derivatives that reference traditional-market instruments while settling in the dollar-pegged stablecoin. The new contracts track SKDD, VST, SECZ, SMH and PENG, according to KuCoin’s announcement. They arrived two days after a separate batch that included contracts tied to a long-dated U.S. Treasury bond index and a leveraged SK Hynix ETF. Five new contracts span stocks and ETF themes The Oct. 14 products reference GraniteShares 2x Short SK Hynix Daily ETF, Vistra, Securitize, VanEck Semiconductor ETF and Penguin Solutions. The lineup combines individual-company exposure with semiconductor-sector and inverse-ETF themes, rather than concentrating on a single equity category. KuCoin said the contracts are USDT-settled, trade around the clock and apply funding every eight hours. The exchange listed the leverage range as 1x to 20x; an independent syndication of the announcement by MyToken reported the same range and settlement structure. Perpetual contracts do not have an expiry date in the way conventional futures do. In this case, the eight-hour funding mechanism is part of the product design for contracts whose quoted value is intended to follow their reference instruments. Treasury and SK Hynix products preceded the launch KuCoin had added five other stock-index perpetuals on Oct. 12: APPUSDT, TMFUSDT, SKUUUSDT, MRNAUSDT and SOFIUSDT. That batch broadened the range of referenced markets beyond single companies. TMFUSDT tracks the ICE U.S. Treasury 20+ Year Bond Index, according to KuCoin. SKUUUSDT tracks a 2x leveraged SK Hynix ETF, placing leveraged exposure to the South Korean memory-chip company in both the Oct. 12 and Oct. 14 listing groups, though through different referenced ETF products. The closely timed additions mean KuCoin has introduced derivatives referencing a bond index, individual companies, a semiconductor ETF and leveraged or inverse ETFs within the same mid-October window. The contracts nevertheless use a common USDT-margined perpetual format rather than the cash-market structure of the assets they reference. Synthetic price exposure, not security ownership These synthetic derivatives give traders price exposure to the reference instruments without providing ownership of the underlying shares or ETF units. KuCoin says holders receive no ownership, voting rights, dividends or delivery of the referenced securities. That distinction is particularly relevant for the stock and ETF names in the two October batches. A position in a KuCoin perpetual is settled in USDT and governed by the contract’s trading and funding terms, not by the corporate or fund-holder rights attached to an equity or ETF holding. KuCoin also states that access to the products may be restricted depending on jurisdiction. Availability is therefore not uniform across all markets in which the exchange may be accessed. Stock and index contracts lead KuCoin’s 2026 rollout The October listings build on an expansion that was already substantial by late July. CoinGecko Research reported that KuCoin had introduced 198 new perpetual contracts through July 29, 2026, of which 121 were linked to stocks or indexes. That count shows that stock- and index-referenced products accounted for more than half of the new perpetuals covered in CoinGecko’s review. The subsequent Oct. 12 and Oct. 14 batches continue that emphasis, while expanding the referenced universe to include long-duration Treasury exposure and specialized leveraged ETF themes. For KuCoin, the latest five listings provide additional USDT-settled routes to trade moves in Vistra, Securitize, Penguin Solutions and semiconductor-linked products without transferring the underlying securities. The Oct. 12 additions show the exchange is also applying the same framework to bond-index and leveraged-ETF references. Disclaimer: This article is provided for informational purposes only. Sberbank Joins Russia’s Crypto Exchange Register Ahead of Its Planned December Trading Launch
Sberbank has been added to the Bank of Russia’s register of organizations authorized to exchange digital currencies, a regulatory step taken on Oct. 12 ahead of the lender’s planned Dec. 1 launch of initial crypto products. The central bank’s disclosure record confirms the decision. A separate Bank of Russia profile for Sberbank lists a digital-depository authorization dated Oct. 6 as well as the Oct. 12 crypto-exchange authorization. Bank of Russia adds Sberbank to crypto-exchange register The register entry gives Sberbank formal authorization to exchange digital currencies under Russia’s regulated framework. The Bank of Russia, which made the decision, is the authority maintaining the register. The two recorded permissions arrived within six days of each other. Sberbank’s central-bank profile identifies the authorizations by category and date, recording digital-depository authorization on Oct. 6 and crypto-exchange authorization on Oct. 12. The regulatory records place the bank on the exchange register before its stated rollout timetable, but do not describe the precise products or operational arrangements Sberbank will use. Authorization arrives ahead of December crypto launch Sberbank plans to introduce its first crypto products on Dec. 1, initially supporting Bitcoin, Ether and Tether through its existing banking and investment platforms, according to CoinDesk, which cited the bank. That date is the next announced milestone following the registration decision. The planned launch is roughly seven weeks after the Oct. 12 exchange authorization and follows the separately listed depository authorization. For the Dec. 1 offering, the report identifies Bitcoin, Ether and Tether as the initial supported assets and calls it Sberbank’s first crypto-product launch. Beyond that, the supplied reporting specifies neither additional assets nor an expansion timetable. Registered dealers’ operating framework Russia’s regulated framework permits registered crypto dealers to buy and sell digital currencies on their own behalf and outside organized trading venues, according to the Bank of Russia. That provision defines the latitude available to entities operating as registered dealers; it does not by itself set out the specific trading model Sberbank will adopt when its Dec. 1 products are scheduled to begin. Strive Adds 3,311 Bitcoin in Its Largest Treasury Purchase Since January
Strive purchased 3,311 bitcoin between October 5 and October 9 at an average price of about $84,500 per coin, including fees and expenses, according to an October 13 Form 8-K filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The acquisition, which implies a transaction value of roughly $279.8 million at that average price, was the company’s largest increase in Bitcoin holdings since January. The purchase lifted Strive’s reported Bitcoin balance above 32,000 BTC. It also came during a period in which the company reported a higher cash balance, putting attention on the funding behind its accelerated treasury accumulation. The purchase in Strive’s buying history Strive disclosed an acquisition of 3,311 BTC between October 5–9 at an average cost of approximately $84,500 per bitcoin, including fees and expenses. The purchase implies a transaction value of about $279.8 million, as reported by The Block. It was Strive’s largest increase in bitcoin holdings since January, when its acquisition of Semler Scientific brought approximately 5,048 BTC into the company, according to an earlier SEC filing. The January increase was larger because it resulted from a corporate acquisition; the October 5–9 activity was recorded as a bitcoin purchase. Holdings and cash both rose Strive reported holding 29,462 BTC as of October 2. By October 9, that figure had risen to 32,773 BTC, a change equal to the 3,311 BTC purchase disclosed in the 8-K. Its cash and cash equivalents also increased over the same dates, to $310.3 million from $284.7 million. That is a rise of $25.6 million while the company added Bitcoin with an implied cost approaching $280 million. The reported balances show that the company ended the period with a larger Bitcoin treasury and more cash and cash equivalents than a week earlier. But the filing figures themselves do not provide a transaction-by-transaction reconciliation of the cash change or identify, within the disclosed data, which source funded every component of the purchase. Still, the combination is relevant to how the purchase should be read. A treasury addition of this scale did not coincide with a lower reported cash-and-equivalents balance at the two measurement dates supplied by Strive, unlike a simple reading in which cash alone was used to fund the entire acquisition. Funding the accumulation strategy Bitcoin.com reported that the latest transaction was Strive’s third-largest Bitcoin acquisition and identified warrant exercises and preferred-stock financing as mechanisms supporting the company’s accumulation strategy. Although the October 13 filing does not separately detail how the 3,311-BTC purchase was funded, the reported financing context helps explain how the cash balance and Bitcoin holdings could rise at the same time: warrant exercises can provide capital when holders exercise their rights, and preferred-stock financing can raise funds without relying solely on a company’s existing cash balance. Strive’s own disclosure fixes the immediate scale of the latest move: 3,311 BTC acquired over five days at an average cost of about $84,500 per coin, taking holdings to 32,773 BTC as of October 9. The $310.3 million cash-and-equivalents figure reported for that date provides the other side of the balance-sheet snapshot. The purchase follows the much larger 5,048-BTC increase associated with the January Semler Scientific acquisition. Independent reporting’s characterization of the October buy as Strive’s third-largest acquisition places it among the company’s more consequential treasury additions, even as the January transaction remains the bigger benchmark for growth in its Bitcoin holdings. Aptos Activates Encrypted Mempool on Mainnet to Target Front-Running and Sandwich Attacks
On Oct. 12, Aptos activated its opt-in Encrypted Mempool on mainnet, changing what validators can inspect before a block is finalized. Transaction instructions, including function calls and arguments, are encrypted instead of exposed in the mempool; payloads remain concealed until block consensus is finalized. Sender addresses and fees are still visible. Aptos said the feature is intended to limit information available for front-running and sandwich attacks during transaction ordering. It is not a fully private transaction system, because key metadata remains public. Aptos launches an opt-in encrypted mempool on mainnet Aptos announced that the Encrypted Mempool is live on its mainnet and available on an opt-in basis. It hides transaction payloads until consensus has been completed, a design intended to prevent pending trade details from being used before their ordering is settled. Front-running generally involves acting on advance knowledge of a pending transaction, while a sandwich attack places trades before and after a target transaction to exploit its expected market effect. Cointelegraph reported on Oct. 13 that Aptos positioned the optional feature for traders, institutions, AI agents and builders seeking protection from those practices. Validators order encrypted payloads before collective decryption Transaction payloads are encrypted on the client side. Validators can order transactions without seeing their function calls or arguments, Aptos said, and the network collectively decrypts the payloads only after consensus. Withholding those instructions during ordering is designed to reduce the ability of parties monitoring pending activity to identify and react to them before finalization. Official Aptos Encrypted Mempool mainnet announcement graphic — Source: Aptos Network Transaction metadata remains visible Aptos Improvement Proposal 144 specifies that encrypted transactions are decrypted only after consensus and uses threshold stake-weighted validator voting. The proposal states that the approach introduces no additional trust assumption beyond Aptos consensus. The protection nevertheless has defined limits. Sender addresses and transaction fees remain visible, meaning the launch conceals payloads rather than creating full transaction anonymity. Binance Adds Four bStocks Tokens as Margin Collateral, Expanding Tokenized-Equity Utility
Binance added four bStocks tokens as eligible collateral assets across its advanced margin products at 12:00 UTC on October 14, 2026. The tokens are MongoDB (MDBB), BlackBerry (BBB), Penguin Solutions (PENGB) and ProShares Ultra VIX ETF (UVXYB), providing tokenized exposure to those securities. Binance said the assets were added to Cross Margin, Portfolio Margin and Portfolio Margin Pro; users cannot borrow against the four tokens themselves under the rollout. Four bStocks tokens enter margin collateral systems According to Binance’s October 14 announcement, the four assets became eligible collateral at 12:00 UTC. The change applies across three of the platform’s margin frameworks: Cross Margin, Portfolio Margin and Portfolio Margin Pro. Collateral eligibility gives a token a role beyond simply being held or traded. Within the specified margin systems, eligible users may use the assets as collateral when managing margin positions, subject to the terms and availability of the relevant Binance product. The update is a utility expansion for this group of bStocks tokens rather than a broad new borrowing programme. Binance explicitly said borrowing against MDBB, BBB, PENGB and UVXYB is not supported, drawing a distinction between accepting an asset as collateral and making that asset available to borrow. Trading pairs launched alongside collateral change At 12:00 UTC on October 14, BBB/USDT, MDBB/USDT, PENGB/USDT and UVXYB/USDT began trading on Binance, alongside the associated bStocks tokens becoming eligible as margin collateral, TokenPost reported. For eligible users, that put the new markets and collateral treatment in the same margin setup: the designated USDT pairs could be accessed while the tokens were recognized in Cross Margin, Portfolio Margin and Portfolio Margin Pro. The rollout was not available across Binance’s entire user base. TokenPost said restricted-region users were excluded from both the pairs and the collateral options. Collateral utility has defined limits The distinction over borrowing is central to the announcement. Binance has not said that users may borrow MDBB, BBB, PENGB or UVXYB; instead, the four tokens can be contributed as eligible collateral within Cross Margin, Portfolio Margin and Portfolio Margin Pro. That structure gives the listed products a defined role in margin account management without altering the terms of the underlying bStocks exposure. The announcement should therefore not be read as a blanket expansion of every margin feature to every tokenized-equity product on Binance. Availability remains subject to the platform’s regional restrictions. In the supplied announcements, Binance and TokenPost did not set out a broader timetable for additional bStocks collateral additions or further pair launches. bStocks offer market exposure, not equity ownership Binance describes bStocks as tokenized securities, not direct shares in the companies or funds they reference. They provide economic exposure to specified stocks or ETFs, but holders do not receive shareholder ownership or voting rights. That framework covers MDBB, associated with MongoDB; BBB, associated with BlackBerry; PENGB, associated with Penguin Solutions; and UVXYB, associated with the ProShares Ultra VIX ETF. Holding those tokens does not make an investor a shareholder or confer corporate voting privileges. Binance said in an October 15 blog post that bStocks surpassed $1 billion in assets under management roughly four months after launching in June 2026. Ripple and Meritz Securities Explore Crypto Custody and Tokenization for Korea’s Capital Markets
Ripple said on October 14 that it had formed a strategic partnership with Meritz Securities to explore using Ripple Custody and its tokenization infrastructure in South Korea’s capital markets. Ripple characterized the arrangement as its first partnership with a South Korean securities firm, expanding its institutional activity in the country into a regulated capital-markets setting. The companies have not announced a tokenized-security issuance, custody product or other digital-asset service for clients. The initial work will remain within Meritz’s existing business scope and South Korea’s current securities and digital-asset regulations, Ripple said. Broader expansion is tied to changes in the regulatory framework. Meritz and Ripple set an exploratory capital-markets mandate Meritz Securities and Ripple will examine potential applications for Ripple Custody and Ripple’s tokenization infrastructure in South Korea’s capital market, an arrangement Ripple characterized as a strategic partnership focused on institutional custody and tokenization. Ripple said the work will initially remain within Meritz’s existing business scope and South Korea’s current securities and digital-asset regulations, and that expansion may be considered as the regulatory framework develops. It did not present the agreement as authorization for new products. The partnership agreement was signed on October 1 at Meritz Securities’ headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul, with Meritz Chief Executive Jang Won-jae and Ripple President Monica Long attending, according to TokenPost. Meritz’s digital-asset ambitions extend beyond custody The Ripple arrangement arrives as Meritz evaluates a wider set of potential digital-asset businesses. Those areas include spot exchange-traded funds, fractional-investment products, security tokens, trading platforms and Korean-won-denominated stablecoins, TokenPost reported on October 7. Those evaluations should not be conflated with completed launches. None of the potential offerings was announced as a live product, and the Ripple partnership does not identify any of them as an immediate outcome. Still, the range under review gives the custody and tokenization discussion a broader institutional context. A securities company assessing token-related products, trading venues and fractional-investment structures would need to consider operational systems alongside the regulatory limits that govern its current business. Ripple and Meritz have said their work begins within those limits. The distinction is particularly relevant to security tokens and fractional-investment products, both of which appear among Meritz’s evaluated areas. The announced partnership concerns exploration of infrastructure; it does not say that Meritz will issue, list or distribute tokenized securities. Ripple gains its first Korean securities-firm partner For Ripple, Meritz is its fourth institutional partner in South Korea in 2026 and its first in the country’s securities industry, the company said. Ripple cited earlier collaborations involving Kyobo Life Insurance, Kbank and Jeonbuk Bank. The Meritz agreement therefore extends Ripple’s Korean institutional network into a different segment of finance. The company’s prior named partners in this year’s count include insurers and banks; Meritz brings a securities-firm relationship to the group. Whether that relationship progresses beyond exploratory work will depend on the scope Meritz can pursue under existing rules and on how South Korea’s regulatory framework changes. For now, the announced mandate is limited: the companies are assessing custody and tokenization infrastructure for capital markets within Meritz’s established business boundaries. S&P Dow Jones Indices Completes First On-Chain OTC Swap on Canton With DRW and Marex
Canton and Derivnex said on Oct. 13, 2026, that DRW and Marex completed the first over-the-counter swap transaction on the Canton Network. The total return swap references S&P Dow Jones Indices’ iBoxx USD Liquid Investment Grade Index, placing both the benchmark data and a record of the trade’s lifecycle on distributed-ledger infrastructure. The transaction is described as the first OTC derivative referencing a fully tokenized index on distributed-ledger infrastructure. It combines a tokenized version of the credit benchmark with signed official index values for continuing valuation, rather than using blockchain solely as a post-trade recordkeeping layer. DRW and Marex complete total return swap tied to iBoxx credit index The swap was executed between DRW and Marex and references the iBoxx USD Liquid Investment Grade Index, according to a Canton Network announcement. A total return swap transfers the economic performance of a referenced asset or index between counterparties under agreed terms. The first-of-its-kind designation rests on the use of a fully tokenized index in an OTC derivative workflow. FinanceFeeds reported that Derivnex uses the derivatives industry’s Common Domain Model to standardize trade and lifecycle representations. Tokenized index and signed values support valuation Kaiko tokenized the iBoxx USD Liquid Investment Grade Index on Canton. It also supplied signed official S&P DJI index values to Derivnex for the swap’s ongoing valuation, according to an S&P Dow Jones Indices release. That arrangement is central to the transaction’s operational design: the index representation is on Canton, while official signed index values are used in valuing the contract through its life. Derivnex records trade terms and lifecycle events on Canton Derivnex represented the transaction as a smart contract on Canton containing the trade terms, giving DRW and Marex a synchronized record for valuations and other lifecycle events, Canton said. The workflow links the benchmark, official valuation inputs and the contract record within the same network environment. Canton’s disclosures do not provide financial terms for the swap or indicate broader volumes of OTC derivatives executed through the arrangement. Pixagram Announces Free Account Creation for 250 New Users Daily Through 2026
Panama City, Panama, October 15th, 2026, Chainwire Pixagram announces free account creation for up to 250 new members daily through the end of 2026. Built on the standalone Layer-1 Pixa blockchain, Pixagram is an anti-hierarchy social network where every post, vote, and comment is recorded as a signed on-chain transaction, with no ads and no cryptocurrency purchase required to get started. Pixagram will cover the 20 PIXA network fee for up to 250 new members daily through the end of 2026. New members can claim a free @username at Pixagram.com and join the platform’s on-chain community for creators. ► Quit Renting the Spotlight — Users can register at http://pixagram.com An On-Chain Username and Wallet Address Opening a Pixa chain account normally costs around 20 PIXA. Pixagram is covering this fee for up to 250 new members daily through the end of 2026. Username and wallet address: Each @username serves as an on-chain wallet address, replacing a randomly generated string of characters with a recognizable handle. Blockchain-based registration: Once registered on the blockchain, an @username remains associated with its on-chain record, subject to the network’s rules and technical conditions. Phone verification and privacy: One-time phone verification helps limit bot abuse of the daily account offer. A public @username can separate a creator’s online identity from their legal name, although public blockchain records may limit privacy. Not Really Anti-Social, Truly Anti-Hierarchy Mainstream social media serves advertisers while gatekeepers decide who sees your work. Pixagram—alongside platforms like Hive and Mastodon—is a SIGMA platform built for creators who prefer agency over status games. Your posts, art, followers, and feeds live directly on-chain with nothing in between, allowing you to reach every follower automatically. NFT Platform Storage and Artwork Permanence On many NFT platforms, the token sits on-chain while the image lives on a cloud server or IPFS—meaning a token can easily outlive its art. On Pixa, every artwork is stored directly on-chain inside its post as a lossless image. Compact pixel art lives permanently on the blockchain and renders up to 4K resolution as a painting, CRT filter, hexagonal shapes, or square pixels. Zero upfront cost: Every new account receives a starter delegation of stake (Resource Credits fuel) to cover posting and voting from day one. Build Mode Note: Direct on-chain art sales launch in 2027, so everything you publish today builds your permanent portfolio ahead of the marketplace release. ► Less Lurking. One Original Post. Start at Pixagram.com Proof-of-Brain and Community Curation Instead of relying on the computational process used in Proof-of-Work systems, Pixagram uses Proof-of-Brain, a mechanism that allocates rewards based on posting, commenting, and voting activity. Community reward distribution: 70% of newly issued PIXA is allocated to community-voted content, with 60% distributed to authors and 40% to curators after seven days. Staking and governance mechanisms: Authors can receive Pixa Power, which determines voting weight and supports governance participation, and Pixa Supra (PXS), a unit referenced by an oracle to a agnostic purchasing power index (without a fixed dollar value). Curators can also receive Pixa Power. Censorship-Resistant by Design Built on the Hive codebase with Steem lineage, the Pixa chain started from a clean genesis block with no airdrop and produces a block every three seconds. While an application interface can hide a post from its view, it can never erase the transaction record from the chain. Furthermore, every artwork is checked for copies using PAPH-X (an open-source perceptual fingerprint for pixel art) and indexed by the Search V4 engine. "The old internet wants you trapped in feed fog, renting reach from gatekeepers who track every click. Today information is king, and Pixagram operates outside that hierarchy... Don't believe the hype. Create it." — Matias Affolter, Co-Founder of Pixa "The strongest rebellion is a working alternative. We're covering the network fee for 250 new accounts a day so any creator can step into build mode at zero cost. Claim your permanent @username now—because once a handle is written to the chain, it's gone forever." — Mathiew Estepho, Co-Founder of Pixa Pixagram Account Registration and Developer Resources Pixagram offers fee coverage for up to 250 new accounts daily through the end of 2026. Eligible new members can register and claim an @username at Pixagram.com. Additional technical information is available in the developer documentation at pixa.org. Disputed Bet? How Licensed Web3 Sportsbooks Handle Complaints
Your corners bet settles as a loss, yet the broadcast showed eleven corners against a line of 10.5. Somewhere between the stadium and the sportsbook, a data feed recorded a different number. Disputes like this follow a pattern. The majority stem from data sources, timing or settlement rules, and the outcome often depends on evidence saved in the first hour and on the deadline set in the terms. Licensed Web3 sportsbooks follow the same basic complaint process as traditional books, with a few twists from wallets and on-chain records. Five Disputes That Recur on Sports Bets Sports bet complaints cluster around a handful of causes. Knowing the cause tells you which rule and which evidence will decide the case. Dispute Typical cause What usually decides it Wrong result or statistic Data feed differs from the broadcast or another site The sportsbook's named settlement source Void or partial settlement Abandonment, postponement or a player who did not start Time windows and void rules in the terms Obvious pricing error Odds far outside the market at the time of the bet The palpable or obvious error clause Bet placed after the start Delayed feed or a wrong start time on the site Actual start time, not the listed one Delayed or reduced payout Limits, verification or a security hold Withdrawal and account review rules Last verified: October 2026 Statistics disputes are among the most common, since corners, cards and shots can differ between providers. Our breakdown of void rules covers abandonment and postponement in detail. Evidence to Save Before You Write Complaints succeed on detail. Gather these items before contacting support, ideally while the market is still fresh: Bet ID and timestamp: with the time zone shown on the bet history Screenshot of the slip: odds, line and stake as accepted Settlement source: a link to the official result or statistic you rely on Transaction hashes: for any deposit or withdrawal linked to the dispute Support chat logs: exported or captured before the session closes Transaction hashes give Web3 bettors one advantage, since a block explorer proves when funds moved. Bet records usually stay in the sportsbook's own database, so screenshots still matter. The Path a Complaint Follows Licensed sportsbooks usually set out a staged process. Each stage needs the previous one finished first: Raise the issue with live chat or email support, quoting the bet ID. Submit a formal complaint to the address the terms name for disputes, inside the claims window. Wait for the operator's final written response, which closes its internal process. Escalate to the licensing authority or an approved dispute service if the answer seems wrong. Consider independent mediation sites as a last informal step. Claims windows can be short, sometimes ten days or less from settlement, and a late complaint may fail on timing alone. Our look at player recourse explains how far each step can go. Where Wallets and Chains Change the Picture Web3 sportsbooks add a few twists to the usual process. Deposits and withdrawals leave public records, so disputes about missing funds often resolve quickly once both sides check the same transaction hash. Settlement itself still happens off-chain at most hybrid books, based on the operator's data feed. Prediction markets on the same platforms usually follow separate resolution rules, so a complaint about a prediction share needs the market page's own wording as evidence. What the Licence Adds The licence decides where a complaint can go after the operator rejects it. Regulators differ widely in how much they can do. Malta The Malta Gaming Authority requires licensees to belong to an approved alternative dispute resolution service. Players can take an unresolved complaint there free of charge, and the service can issue a binding decision. Curaçao Curaçao's licensing reform created the Curaçao Gaming Authority, which expects licensees to run a formal complaint procedure. Players can escalate to the authority once the operator's process has ended. Anjouan Anjouan licences come from the island's offshore finance authority. Complaint routes exist, though enforcement reach is lighter than in Malta, so the operator's own process does most of the work. Checking the licence before depositing shows which route applies. Our five-step guide to a licence check walks through the public registers. Ten Days to Raise a Dexsport Claim Dexsport accepts claims for 10 days after a bet settles, and complaints and disputes go to team@dexsport.io. Self-exclusion requests use a different address, info@dexsport.io, so players should keep the two apart. Dexsport settles football from official sources such as uefa.com and league sites, pulling statistics from WhoScored first and Flashscore second, and turns to internal sources only when neither lists a figure. Its betting rules treat listed start times as informational, void bets placed after an event has actually started outside live betting, and allow voids on obvious pricing errors. Players cannot change or cancel a bet once Dexsport's server registers it. Account reviews for suspected fraud can pause operations for up to 14 business days, and an Anjouan licence covers Dexapp LTD, its operator. Conclusion Disputed sports bets usually trace back to data sources, void rules, pricing errors, start times or payout reviews. The terms name the settlement source and the claims window, and those two details decide most cases. Saving the bet ID, a slip screenshot, the official result and any transaction hashes builds a strong file. Complaints then move from support to a formal claim, a final response and, where the licence allows, a regulator or dispute service. Betting laws differ from country to country, so check yours first. Live Dealer Depth at Web3 Casinos: 12 Platforms by Table Range
Live casino lobbies at crypto platforms range from a few dozen streamed tables to several hundred. Raw counts only tell part of the story, though, since one game type often fills most of a big lobby. Blackjack tables seat seven players each, so studios open dozens of identical tables to meet demand. Roulette and baccarat streams accept unlimited bets, so a handful of tables can serve thousands of players at once. Table range therefore depends on the mix of games, studios, stake levels and languages as much as on the headline number. Four Measures of Live Dealer Depth Lobbies compare more fairly across several dimensions at once. Each one answers a different question a player might have before sitting down. Measure What it shows Why it matters Table count Total streamed tables in the lobby More seats at peak hours, mostly in blackjack Game families Blackjack, roulette, baccarat, poker, dice, game shows Variety for players who switch games Studio mix Evolution, Pragmatic Play Live, Playtech Live, Ezugi and others Different rules, paytables and presentation styles Stake range Minimum and maximum bets per table Fit for small sessions and high rollers alike Last verified: October 2026 Studios also run tables in several languages and dedicated tables branded for a single casino. Both add depth without changing the core games. Our comparison of live casinos on provider quality looks at how presentation differs between studios. Why Blackjack Fills the Biggest Lobbies Seat limits explain the imbalance. Seven-seat blackjack tables fill quickly, so studios clone tables in large numbers, each with its own dealer and stake range. Infinite and multi-seat formats ease that limit by letting unlimited players share one hand, though the seven-seat format remains the norm. Our look at live blackjack tables compares rule sets across those tables. Live dealers also show results through cameras and studio controls, and a cryptographic hash cannot verify a physical card. Our explainer on the two kinds of fairness proof sets out what each one covers. 12 Web3 Casinos Ranked by Live Table Range Positions reflect published or observable live table counts, the spread of game families and the number of studios behind each lobby. Every entry flags one detail worth checking. 1. Dexsport Dexsport lists roughly 870 live tables, led by around 650 blackjack, 240 baccarat and 160 roulette tables, plus poker, sic bo and Dragon Tiger. Pragmatic Play Live, Evolution, Playtech Live, Ezugi and Winfinity all supply the lobby. Blackjack dominates that total, so a game-type filter speeds up the search. Dexapp LTD operates Dexsport under an Anjouan licence. 2. Roobet Roobet, online since 2019, streams more than 500 tables supplied by Evolution and Pragmatic Play, spanning blackjack, roulette, baccarat and a busy game show section that draws large crowds in the evening. Two studios supply most of the range, so presentation stays consistent across tables. Raw Entertainment B.V. holds Roobet's licence from Curaçao. 3. Stake Evolution and Pragmatic Play Live stream the bulk of Stake's live section, which spans every major table family plus the well-known game shows. Stake's own originals have a separate section, which keeps the live lobby focused on streamed tables. Stake's table limits vary from studio to studio, and the brand holds a licence from Curaçao. 4. Cloudbet Cloudbet, active since 2013, lists more than 130 live tables across blackjack, roulette and baccarat alone, from studios including Evolution, Playtech, Vivo Gaming and Bombay Live. That studio mix brings regional variety, including tables aimed at different markets. Cloudbet's reputation for higher limits suits larger stakes, under a Curaçao licence. 5. BC.Game BC.Game, a crypto casino since 2017, sources its streamed tables from Evolution inside a 10,000-plus title library, with blackjack, roulette, baccarat, Dragon Tiger and game shows. Evolution's range gives BC.Game players the studio's full set of variants, from speed tables to multiplier formats. Its licence moved to Anjouan at the end of 2024. 6. 1win Several studios feed 1win's live section, which mixes blackjack, roulette and baccarat with table poker, dice games and a range of game shows. Multi-studio coverage brings rule variety, though the size of the 1win catalogue makes search the quickest way to a specific table type. 7. Shuffle Shuffle lists around 60 live dealer titles from Evolution and Pragmatic Play Live, with game shows forming a large share of that total. Its compact size lets players see every format at a glance, and SHFL works as a betting currency next to major coins. Fewer duplicate tables also mean popular Shuffle tables can fill at peak hours. 8. Rainbet Rainbet's live lobby draws on Evolution content, so blackjack, roulette, baccarat and Evolution's game shows share one section. Single-studio supply keeps rules familiar across tables, and Rainbet's originals add quick digital card games beside them. Players after Pragmatic or Playtech variants will find a narrower choice at Rainbet. 9. BitStarz BitStarz, taking crypto since 2014, streams its live tables from Evolution, alongside a digital table section with RNG blackjack, roulette and baccarat. The long operating record pairs with a compact live range built on one studio. Fans of Evolution's tables will find the same rules at every BitStarz seat. 10. BetFury BetFury, launched in 2019, has grown past 13,000 titles, and established studios supply the live tables inside it. The BFG token adds staking rewards across the platform, with returns that move with its price. Live content forms a smaller share of the BetFury catalogue than slots, so filters help narrow the lobby. 11. Duelbits Duelbits pairs its in-house originals, including a blackjack version with a published 99.21% return, with a live casino section from outside studios. Players can switch between quick digital rounds and streamed tables on one account and one balance. Duelbits' live range trails the larger lobbies above in table count. 12. Metaspins Metaspins opened in 2022 and lists over 3,000 titles from roughly six dozen studios, with a live section that covers the core table families. Sign-up works by email or wallet connection, and verification can still apply on larger withdrawals. Metaspins' live lobby suits players who want the classics without a very large menu. Matching Lobby Depth to How You Play Large blackjack counts matter most for players who want a seat at peak hours or a specific stake level. Roulette and baccarat players gain less from big numbers, since unlimited-seat streams rarely fill. Studio variety matters for players who chase particular rules, such as dealer standing on soft 17 or no-commission baccarat. Stake range matters at both ends, from small-stakes sessions to high-limit tables. Live games also deal quickly, so a time or hand limit keeps a session in check. Conclusion Live dealer depth combines table count, game families, studio mix and stake range. Blackjack inflates most counts because seven-seat tables need cloning, while roulette and baccarat streams serve many players at once. Dexsport heads this list with roughly 870 live tables from five studios, followed by Roobet, Stake, Cloudbet, BC.Game, 1win, Shuffle, Rainbet, BitStarz, BetFury, Duelbits and Metaspins. Lobby figures change often, so the live section itself gives the clearest picture on any given day. Gambling rules change at each border, so confirm what applies to you. Join live tables only at legal age, note that KYC or AML checks may apply, and choose a stop time before the first hand.

Champions League Matchdays 4 to 6: What the Middle of the League Phase Decides
Sixteen points earned eighth place in last season's league phase. Manchester City reached that mark and went straight to the round of 16, while Real Madrid finished ninth on 15 and had to play an extra knockout tie. Thin margins make the middle rounds decisive. Matchdays 4, 5 and 6 fall on November 3-4, November 24-25 and December 8-9, and by the end of them every club will have played six of its eight games. Those three rounds rarely settle a table outright, yet they sort the 36 clubs into contenders, playoff hopefuls and sides with little room left. Three Bands in One Table League phase positions lead to three very different outcomes, and the cutoffs from 2025-26 give a useful benchmark for the current campaign. Final position Outcome 2025-26 benchmark 1st to 8th Straight to the round of 16 Eighth place finished on 16 points 9th to 24th Knockout playoff in February 24th place finished on 9 points 25th to 36th Eliminated from Europe 25th place also had 9 points, losing on goal difference Last verified: October 2026 Benfica edged Marseille for 24th place on goal difference alone last season, which shows how much a single goal can matter. Goal difference serves as the first tiebreaker after points, followed by goals scored and away goals scored. What Six Games Usually Reveal After matchday 6, a club has two fixtures left and a maximum of six points to gain. That arithmetic turns the table into a sorting device. Around 12 points or more: a strong position for the first eight places, often needing one more win Around 7 to 10 points: firmly in the playoff band, with a direct round-of-16 place still possible Around 4 to 6 points: inside or near the cutoff, needing results in January Three points or fewer: at real risk of elimination unless both final games go well These ranges shift with the season's spread of results, yet they help frame which games matter most in November and December. How the Middle Rounds Shape Match Prices Match markets on matchdays 4 to 6 react to table position more than early-round fixtures do. Several patterns often show up: Uneven Incentives Clubs in the race for the first eight places may push for a win where a draw would once have satisfied them. Opponents already resigned to the playoff band sometimes rotate ahead of domestic fixtures, which can move match odds and totals. Goal Difference Pressure Because goal difference breaks ties, leading teams may keep attacking late in games they already control. Late attacking of this kind can affect totals, handicaps and late-goal markets in one-sided fixtures. Our explainer on Asian handicap lines covers how margin markets work. Fixture Strength Every club faces eight different opponents from four pots, so the difficulty of the remaining fixtures varies widely. Sides with their two hardest games still to come may stand higher in the table than their true chances suggest. Domestic Load Meets European Pressure November and December pack league fixtures, domestic cups and European nights into a few weeks. Squads with thin depth often rotate on one front, and managers choose based on where points matter most. Clubs comfortably placed in Europe sometimes rest key players on matchday 6, while sides near the cutoff field their strongest line-ups. Team news therefore moves prices sharply in the final hours before kick-off, especially for player props and goalscorer markets. Weather and travel add smaller effects. Long trips to Eastern Europe or Scandinavia in December can cost a squad recovery time ahead of a weekend league game, which feeds back into rotation choices. Futures That Move in the Middle Rounds Outright and qualification markets react strongly to these three matchdays: First-eight finish: a Yes or No price on skipping the playoff round Knockout qualification: a price on finishing anywhere in the first 24 places League phase winner: the club that tops the 36-team table after matchday 8 Tournament winner: the outright for the June 5 final at the Estadio Metropolitano in Madrid Paris Saint-Germain start the season as holders. Prices on the tournament winner tend to shorten sharply for clubs that reach December inside the first eight places, since a direct route avoids two extra knockout games. Our breakdown of the league phase format explains how pots and seeding feed the bracket. Matchday Markets on Dexsport Dexsport sets out 39 football market types, from Asian and European handicaps to half-time totals, bookings, corner counts and individual player lines. Champions League results settle with uefa.com among Dexsport's named data sources. Its Combo+ feature boosts the odds on accumulators once they reach four legs, which suits midweek slates with nine fixtures in an evening. Cash Out lets a bettor close an open bet before full time where Dexsport offers it, and the company behind it, Dexapp LTD, holds an Anjouan licence. Midweek European evenings also open markets that weekend fixtures rarely list, and our guide to midweek European nights covers them. Conclusion Matchdays 4 to 6 rarely decide the league phase outright, yet they sort the table into clear bands. Last season, 16 points earned a place among the first eight and 9 points marked the playoff cutoff, with goal difference separating 24th from 25th. Middle-round prices react to uneven incentives, goal difference pressure and the strength of remaining fixtures. First-eight, qualification and outright markets move sharply as clubs settle into those bands before the January finale. Sports betting rules vary from country to country, so read the local law first. Stake only at legal age, bear in mind that KYC or AML checks may apply, and cap midweek accumulators at a weekly figure.

ALPS appoints Brian Turnbow to lead the development of next-generation AI data centers
The Italian scale-up has appointed Turnbow to lead its technical expansion into artificial intelligence and high-performance computing, with an energy-to-compute approach that aims to harness renewable energy sources and reuse existing assets to develop more sustainable compute infrastructure. TRENTO, Italy, Oct. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- ALPS announces the appointment of Brian Turnbow as Technical Director for AI. Founded in Trentino in 2018 and operating across four continents, the company is applying its expertise in designing, building, and operating data centers integrated with energy systems to AI and HPC. Access to power is one of the main constraints on AI infrastructure development. According to Terna data as of 31 August 2026, data center grid connection requests in Italy totalled more than 100 GW, up from around 30 GW at the end of 2024 — a rise that makes site selection and grid connection lead times critical. ALPS's energy-to-compute approach is based on a deliberate choice: locating data centers where energy is already available, including outside major hubs, to reduce reliance on congested areas of the grid. The company aims to integrate renewable energy sources and redevelop disused industrial sites, reusing existing grid connections, buildings and other assets wherever technically feasible. The aim is to develop more sustainable compute infrastructure, making use of local resources and, through asset reuse, limiting land take and reducing the need for new construction. This expansion complements ALPS's ongoing mining operations, which continue in line with its business plan. Turnbow will lead ALPS's AI/HPC technical strategy, from assessing architectures and sites to engaging with technology and industrial partners. Italy will be a priority market. ALPS intends to bring its international expertise back to Italy and work with Italian engineering and industrial companies, drawing on their expertise in projects abroad as well. "Italy and Europe have energy resources, industrial assets and technical expertise we can harness," says Francesco Buffa, CEO and co-founder of ALPS. "Through our energy-to-compute approach, we want to turn the energy and industrial potential of the regions in which we operate into a competitive advantage and help narrow Europe's AI gap." Turnbow brings over 25 years' experience in telecommunications and digital infrastructure, having held technical roles at TWT, Unidata and CDLAN. He serves on the board of ITNOG. "AI infrastructure starts well before GPU deployment," says Brian Turnbow. "Every project must start with the workloads it needs to support and clients' requirements, not just the available power. My goal is to translate these requirements into coherent design decisions, building flexible, scalable and sustainable computing capacity while making use of renewable energy sources and existing assets." About ALPS ALPS designs, builds and operates data centers for energy- and compute-intensive applications, combining energy expertise with data center engineering and operations. Its international growth has been supported by Azimut through a €40 million transaction in 2023 and a €105 million club deal in 2024. Speed, Squeeze and No Commission: 9 Crypto Casinos Ranked on Live Baccarat Variants
Every live baccarat table offers the same three core bets: Banker, Player and Tie. Yet one table deals a hand every 30 seconds or so, another peels each card back slowly on camera, and a third drops the 5% Banker commission in exchange for a different payout rule. Those variants change pace, presentation and sometimes the house edge, while the cards follow identical drawing rules. Live lobbies at crypto casinos mix variants from several studios, so the range on offer depends on which providers each casino works with. Six Formats Built on the Same Three Bets Studios rework baccarat in a handful of recognisable ways. Each format below keeps Banker, Player and Tie, yet changes something that affects a session. Format What changes Effect on the Banker bet Typical studios Standard Classic pace, 5% commission on Banker wins About 1.06% edge Evolution, Pragmatic Play Live, Ezugi Speed Shorter betting windows and quick deals Same edge as standard, more hands per hour Evolution, Pragmatic Play Live Squeeze Dealer bends and reveals cards slowly Same edge as standard, slower rounds Evolution, Playtech Live No Commission Banker pays 1:1, except a winning 6 pays half About 1.46% edge Evolution, Ezugi Multiplier Random multipliers funded by a 20% fee on bets Base payouts drop to fund the boosts Evolution's Lightning, Pragmatic's Mega Baccarat High-limit Larger maximum stakes and a private dealer Same edge as standard Evolution's Salon Privé House edges assume eight-deck shoes and standard rules. Last verified: October 2026 Player bets hold an edge of about 1.24% across standard formats, while the Tie, paying 8:1, holds an edge near 14.4%. Our walkthrough of baccarat basics covers the drawing rules behind those figures. What a Quicker Shoe Costs Speed tables keep the same edge per hand, but more hands pass in the same hour. Standard live baccarat often deals around 40 to 60 hands an hour, while speed versions can exceed 100. At $10 per Banker bet and a 1.06% edge, the expected cost works out to roughly $0.11 per hand. Across 50 hands, that adds up to about $5.30, while 100 speed hands bring it to about $10.60 for the same session length. Squeeze tables work the other way. Slow reveals stretch each round, so fewer hands reach the felt per hour and the expected hourly cost falls, even at identical stakes. Multiplier Tables and Their Fee Lightning Baccarat from Evolution and Mega Baccarat from Pragmatic Play Live add random multipliers to winning hands. Each adds a 20% fee to every bet to fund those boosts. Lightning Baccarat applies multipliers of up to 8x to selected cards, and combined multipliers can lift a Tie payout far above its usual 8:1. Mega Baccarat uses a separate draw to apply multipliers that can reach 100x. Returns on these tables fall slightly below standard baccarat once the fee enters the maths, and larger swings come with the format. Studios list the exact figures in each table's help panel. 9 Crypto Casinos Ranked on Live Baccarat Variants Positions reflect the number of live baccarat tables, the range of formats across studios and the presence of speed, squeeze and no-commission options. Each entry closes with one practical point. 1. Dexsport Dexsport tags around 240 live baccarat tables within a live casino of roughly 870 tables, plus a smaller set of RNG baccarat titles. Its live content comes from four studios, Ezugi, Playtech Live, Pragmatic Play Live and Evolution, so speed, squeeze, no-commission and multiplier formats appear in one lobby. Lobbies that large reward a quick search. Every live hand also counts toward the double casino turnover attached to each Dexsport deposit, and Dexapp LTD holds the Anjouan licence behind the platform. 2. Cloudbet Cloudbet, a crypto operator founded in 2013, offers more than 30 live baccarat titles from studios including Evolution, Playtech and Vivo Gaming, alongside around 40 digital baccarat games in its card section. Cloudbet's reputation for higher table limits suits players who want larger stakes at Salon Privé-style tables. Studio mix varies by region, so a Cloudbet player outside the main markets may see a narrower set of variants than the full catalogue suggests. 3. Stake Stake hosts a large live lobby built on Evolution and Pragmatic Play Live, which brings Speed Baccarat, Lightning Baccarat and Mega Baccarat into one account. Stake also builds its own provably fair baccarat game among its originals. That pairing lets a Stake player compare a live table with a verifiable digital version on the same balance. Live table limits differ by studio, and Stake holds a Curaçao licence. 4. BC.Game BC.Game, launched in 2017, takes its live dealer content from Evolution, so baccarat shares the section with Dragon Tiger and game shows. Across all categories, the library tops 10,000 games from upward of 80 studios. Evolution's range gives BC.Game players access to speed, squeeze and multiplier formats. Its wide range of accepted coins lets players fund a session in niche assets, and BC.Game has held an Anjouan licence since December 2024. 5. Roobet Roobet, founded in 2019, offers 500-plus live tables supplied by Evolution and Pragmatic Play, so live baccarat shares a busy lobby with game shows and blackjack. Pragmatic's involvement adds Mega Baccarat and Super 8 formats to Evolution's set, which widens the multiplier options. Roobet's in-house games focus on crash and other originals, so baccarat at Roobet relies entirely on its live studio partners for variety and table limits. 6. 1win 1win draws live baccarat from several studios, with classic tables beside speed and multiplier formats. Its wider casino spans thousands of games across slots, tables and live dealers. Variety helps players who hop between studios to compare paytables. The large 1win catalogue can make specific variants harder to find, so a search for "speed" or "squeeze" usually narrows the live lobby more efficiently than browsing. 7. Shuffle Shuffle's live section draws on Evolution and Pragmatic Play Live, with around 60 live dealer titles in total, baccarat among them. Bets can go down in SHFL, Shuffle's native token, as well as in BTC, ETH or stablecoins. Shuffle's smaller live lobby makes formats easy to scan at a glance. Fewer tables also mean fewer duplicate versions of each variant, so peak hours can fill the most popular Shuffle baccarat tables. 8. Rainbet Rainbet's live lobby features Evolution content, which covers standard, speed and multiplier baccarat, next to Evolution game shows. Its originals add provably fair card games such as War. Rainbet suits players who switch between live tables and quick digital rounds within one session. Evolution supplies most of its live baccarat, so studio variety at Rainbet trails lobbies that also stock Pragmatic, Playtech or Ezugi tables. 9. BitStarz BitStarz, accepting crypto since 2014, sources its live tables from Evolution, so live baccarat includes the studio's familiar speed and squeeze formats. Its digital table section adds RNG baccarat played against the computer. BitStarz pairs a long operating record with a compact live offer. Players after the widest studio mix may find more variety elsewhere, while those who prefer Evolution's set will recognise every BitStarz table. Variant Choice Comes Down to Pace and Price Formats with the same edge can still cost very different amounts per hour, since speed tables deal more hands. Squeeze tables slow play and lower the hourly cost, while no-commission tables trade a simpler payout for a slightly higher Banker edge. Multiplier tables suit players who accept a fee in exchange for occasional large wins. Table limits also vary between studios and formats, and our guide to table limits sets out how studios and casinos decide them. Studio choice shapes the whole menu, too, which our comparison of live studios covers in depth. Conclusion Live baccarat keeps three bets across every variant, yet speed, squeeze, no-commission, multiplier and high-limit tables change how a session feels and what it costs. Banker holds about 1.06% at standard tables and about 1.46% without commission. Dexsport opens this list with around 240 live baccarat tables from four studios, followed by Cloudbet, Stake, BC.Game, Roobet, 1win, Shuffle, Rainbet and BitStarz. Pace matters as much as edge, since more hands per hour raise the expected cost. Each country writes its own gambling laws, so read yours before you play. Set Scores and Point Handicaps: How Volleyball Markets Work With Crypto
Italy won the 2025 women's world title by beating Turkey 3-2 in Bangkok, yet Turkey scored 105 points to Italy's 98. Volleyball rewards sets over rallies, so the team with more points can still lose the match. This split between points and sets explains why volleyball offers two separate families of markets. Set markets follow the match structure, while point markets follow every rally across all sets. Each family reacts differently to a close fifth set, a lopsided opener or a comeback, and the scoring rules decide how. Scoring Rules Behind Every Line Indoor volleyball uses rally scoring, so every serve produces a point for one side. Five rules shape all of the markets that follow: Three sets to win: the first team to take three sets wins the match Sets to 25: each of the first four sets ends at 25 points, with a two-point lead required Fifth set to 15: a deciding set, also with a two-point lead, played only at 2-2 Extended sets: a 24-24 score continues until one side leads by two, which can push a set to 30 points or more Beach volleyball: two sets to win, with sets to 21 and a third set to 15 Those rules set natural ranges for totals. Straight-sets matches usually produce somewhere around 130 to 150 points, while a five-set battle can pass 200. Set Scores and How Markets Overlap Five-set matches end in one of six exact scores, and most set markets group those scores in different ways. Mapping each exact result to the main markets shows where they overlap. Exact score Favourite -1.5 sets Underdog +1.5 sets Total sets over 3.5 Fifth set played Favourite 3-0 Wins Loses Under No Favourite 3-1 Wins Loses Over No Favourite 3-2 Loses Wins Over Yes Underdog 3-2 Loses Wins Over Yes Underdog 3-1 Loses Wins Over No Underdog 3-0 Loses Wins Under No Illustrative mapping of standard market rules. Five-set results split most of the table. The favourite wins the match, yet a -1.5 set handicap loses, and both the total-sets over and the fifth-set market pay. Point Handicaps Across a Whole Match Point handicaps add or subtract points from one team's total across every set. Because each set caps the winner near 25, a dominant side may only build a margin of 15 to 25 points in a straight-sets win. Last year's men's world final shows the arithmetic. Italy beat Bulgaria 3-1 in Manila, with set scores of 25-21, 25-17, 17-25 and 25-10, so Italy won the points 92-73 and covered any handicap up to -18.5. The women's final turned the logic upside down. Turkey won sets two and four by wide margins and lost three close ones, so even a Turkey -6.5 point handicap would have paid despite the defeat, and the match total reached 203 points. Totals Shift as a Match Unfolds Pre-match totals assume an average spread of set scores. Once play starts, two forces move the line more than any other. Set count matters most. Two sets to nil cuts the chance of a fourth and fifth set, so live match totals drop sharply, while a 1-1 score keeps every long outcome alive. Extended sets push in the other direction. Each set that reaches 24-24 adds at least two points and often more, so two tight sets in a row can lift a match total by 10 points or so. Close teams on paper therefore attract higher totals lines before the first serve. Set Markets Inside a Match Several markets focus on a single set, and they suit bettors who follow momentum within a match: Set winner: a two-way price on any individual set, often offered live Set totals: a points line for one set, commonly set around 44 to 46 Set handicaps: a points spread for a single set, usually a few points either way Race to points: the first side to reach a set score such as 10 or 15 Live set markets move quickly, since a run of three or four rallies can swing a set. Sportsbooks that offer Cash Out allow an early exit from an open bet, and our explainer on Cash Out covers the timing. Leagues That Fill the Volleyball Calendar Club volleyball dominates autumn and winter, with international events taking over in summer. Coverage tends to be deepest for: Italian SuperLega and women's Serie A1: two of the strongest domestic leagues Polish PlusLiga: large crowds and a long season Turkish Sultanlar Ligi: a leading women's competition CEV Champions League: Europe's club competition for men and women Volleyball Nations League: the summer international series Smaller leagues often show only match winner, set handicap and totals. Our look at table tennis markets shows a similar pattern in another rally sport. Volleyball Lines on Dexsport Dexsport lists five volleyball market types in its rules: match winner, set winner, a tie-break in the match, totals by set or match, and handicaps by set or match. Those categories cover both families described here, from set handicaps to point totals. Beach volleyball appears on Dexsport's sport list as a separate discipline. Settlement follows the platform's published rules, and Dexapp LTD operates Dexsport under an Anjouan licence. Volleyball fans who also follow handball can compare the two sports in our breakdown of handball markets. Conclusion Volleyball markets split into set-based and point-based families. Set handicaps, exact scores and fifth-set markets follow the five-set structure, while point handicaps and totals track every rally across the match. Each family answers a different question about the same game. Close matches expose the difference most clearly. Even a 3-2 win can lose a -1.5 set handicap, and a beaten side can still cover a point handicap, as Turkey did in the 2025 women's world final. Midterm Markets: How the House and Senate Questions Settle
Americans vote on November 3, 2026, for all 435 House seats and 35 Senate seats, including special elections in Ohio and Florida. Prediction markets have priced both chambers for months, yet the result on election night and the result that settles a market are not always the same thing. Each market answers a precise question, and its rule card decides which seats count, who counts as a party member and when the answer becomes final. Runoffs, recounts, independents and tie-break votes can all shift that moment, sometimes by weeks. Two Chambers, Two Thresholds House and Senate control rest on different arithmetic. Markets usually mirror the constitutional rules, though each platform writes its own definition of "control". Detail House Senate Seats on the ballot All 435 35 of 100 Majority threshold 218 seats 51 seats, or 50 plus the Vice President's vote Common tie rule in markets Party of the first Speaker elected Vice President's party at 50-50 Independents Counted with the party they caucus with, if the rules say so Same, with caucus status often already known Late-deciding factors Close races and slow counts in large states Runoffs and recounts in a handful of states Last verified: October 2026 Vice President JD Vance breaks Senate ties, so a 50-50 chamber favours Republicans under most market definitions. Democrats need 51 seats outright for Senate control. From Election Night to Settlement Major news organisations call most seats within hours. Markets, however, rarely settle on the first projection, because rule cards usually point to official results or a consensus of credible reporting. Polymarket's House market, for example, defines control as a majority of voting seats in the Congress elected in 2026. If neither party reaches a majority, it awards control to the party of the first Speaker elected when that Congress convenes in January 2027. Settlement timing depends on the number of close races. Clear majorities can resolve a market within days, while a narrow chamber may keep a market open until the last few seats finish counting. Edge Cases That Delay a Result Several situations push resolution past election week, and each one has its own treatment on a well-written rule card. Runoffs Georgia holds a runoff whenever every Senate or House candidate falls short of 50% of the vote. Markets that count runoff winners stay open until that second vote, which can fall a month after the general election. Recounts and Legal Challenges Close margins can trigger automatic recounts in several states. Rule cards that rely on official certification wait for those processes, while those that accept a consensus of credible reporting may settle once outlets agree on the winner. Independents and Party Switches Senate independents Bernie Sanders and Angus King caucus with Democrats. Market rules usually count such members with their caucus, and some attribute a seat to the party the winner ran under even if the member switches parties before Congress meets. Vacancies and Special Elections Ohio and Florida hold special Senate elections this year, and those seats count toward the 35. Vacancies after Election Day rarely change a market, since most rule cards freeze seat attribution at the election result. Seat-Count and Combination Markets Control questions form only part of the midterm board. Platforms also list seat-count ranges, balance-of-power combinations and individual state races. Seat-count ranges: brackets such as 220 to 224 Republican House seats, each priced as its own Yes or No Balance of power: combined outcomes like a Democratic House with a Republican Senate State races: single contests in competitive states, often with the deepest public attention Popular vote margins: national vote shares, which can diverge from seat results Combination and range markets split probability across many outcomes, so their prices often add up to more than 100%. Our explainer on prediction liquidity shows why thin brackets can quote wide spreads. Stablecoin Shares on Dexsport's Politics Tab Dexsport groups US elections under a Politics tab beside sports, crypto and economy markets. Shares price from 1 to 99 cents, each winning share returns $1, and only stablecoins settle trades. Dexsport's event pages show when trading stops, the deadline for resolution and the period each market covers, with its team confirming outcomes inside a day. Sources differ by market, from a single named reference to a general appeal to credible reporting, so check the page before buying. Sampled pairs of opposing prices on Dexsport added up to roughly 101 or 102 cents, which works as a small built-in fee. Liquidity comes from a shared pool, and Dexapp LTD operates the platform under an Anjouan licence. Phrases Worth Finding on a Rule Card Rule cards often fill only a few lines, yet each line can decide a payout. Look for wording on these points before buying a midterm share: "Control": majority of seats, Speaker election or organising majority Runoff treatment: whether runoff winners count and how long the market waits Independents: caucus-based attribution or strict party labels Resolution source: official certification, named outlets or a consensus of reporting Deadline: the last date for resolution and the fallback if results remain unclear Positions can sometimes close early when liquidity allows, which our guide to selling a position explains. Platforms also word the same question differently. Rule cards compared across prediction platforms can reveal different answers to one election. Conclusion Midterm markets settle on precise definitions, whatever the headlines say on election night. House control turns on 218 seats or the first Speaker vote, while Senate control turns on 51 seats or a 50-50 split broken by the Vice President. Runoffs in Georgia, recounts, independent caucus choices and special elections in Ohio and Florida can all move the settlement date. Reading the rule card, resolution source and deadline before buying a share avoids surprises after November 3. Prediction markets involve real financial risk, and their legal status differs from country to country. Check local rules, trade only at legal age, and keep in mind that KYC or AML checks may apply.

UK High Court Says Chinese Law Governs Claims to More Than 61,000 Seized Bitcoin
More than 61,000 Bitcoin are under the control of the English court, but their seizure in London does not answer the central ownership question. The High Court has held that Chinese law, rather than English law, governs the substantive proprietary claims advanced over the cryptocurrency. The decision matters because the Bitcoin sits inside an English proceeds-of-crime process while the alleged investments, collection of funds and acquisition of the assets occurred in China. That distinction sharply limits what the choice-of-law ruling decides. It does not award the Bitcoin to investors, nor does it establish a final right for the UK state to retain it. Instead, it moves the decisive legal contest to the content and proof of rights under Chinese law. That is a consequential divide for a pool whose value rose dramatically during the period covered by the criminal case. It also creates a demanding evidentiary and distribution exercise for a claimant base connected to at least 128,409 investment contracts. A London seizure does not make English law the source of ownership In its October 12, 2026 ruling, the High Court said Chinese law governs the substantive proprietary claims to the seized Bitcoin. English law governs the procedural operation of the Proceeds of Crime Act framework. That outcome reflects where the alleged economic events occurred, rather than simply where the assets were eventually found. On the court’s assumed facts, the Bitcoin was acquired before Zhimin Qian left China, using a Huobi account, Chinese over-the-counter transactions and mining machines located in China. More than 100,000 Bitcoin were purchased through the Huobi account between June 2014 and June 2017. The Metropolitan Police later seized devices and access keys in London during October and November 2018, and recovered further assets afterwards. The property now under the court’s control includes more than 61,000 Bitcoin. Physical control, however, is not the same as an answer to the prior question of who, if anyone, held a proprietary interest when the Bitcoin was acquired. The ruling therefore separates two issues that can appear to merge in a high-profile crypto seizure. English law supplies the machinery through which restrained or recoverable property is handled in the UK. But the existence of the asserted underlying rights is a Chinese-law question because that is where the court located the relevant alleged investments and asset acquisition. The 61,000 Bitcoin claim now turns on Chinese proprietary rights, not English tracing English law supplies the framework for handling property restrained or recovered in the UK, and the judgment recognises Bitcoin as property under English law. But that does not itself give applicants a proprietary claim to the seized Bitcoin: English tracing cannot recreate rights that may not have survived the assets’ original acquisition in China. What remains to be established is the existence and content of the rights asserted under Chinese law. The court did not decide ownership or distribution, and it left open the later assessment of Chinese law, the applicants’ evidence and the final relief. That leaves a factual and legal route still to be shown—from payments into the alleged scheme to specific assets now controlled in England. The ruling does not declare such a route impossible; it says the governing analysis is under Chinese law and requires evidence on what that law provides and how it applies. The seizure itself therefore does not automatically make all recovered assets state property, nor does the presence of alleged victims automatically produce restitution from the identified coins. 128,409 contracts make recovery a proof and distribution problem At least 128,409 investment contracts appear in the court’s assumed facts, alongside about RMB40.23 billion raised between 2014 and 2017. About RMB34.1 billion had been repaid to some investors before the scheme collapsed. The numbers establish the size of the underlying exercise. They do not establish who is entitled to what. Any distribution would have to distinguish among claimants, account for the repayment history and examine the individual investments and rights asserted under them. Nor does the aggregate fundraising figure supply a formula for dividing the seized Bitcoin. The choice-of-law ruling left ownership and distribution unresolved; applicants must prove the existence and content of relevant proprietary rights under Chinese law. That leaves the central evidential questions intact: what Chinese law recognizes, how the relevant rights are characterized and what evidence establishes them. The size of the pool cannot substitute for entitlement to assets or their traceable proceeds, as opposed to an assessment that an applicant suffered a loss. Asset appreciation raises the stakes without resolving entitlement Roughly 70,000 Bitcoin moved from a sentencing-record valuation of about £305 million when Qian arrived in the UK to more than £384 million at seizure and over £1.5 billion when police recovered it between 2021 and 2025. The High Court case, however, concerns property under court control that includes more than 61,000 Bitcoin, not an identical pool. That distinction matters because the High Court has not determined ownership or distribution. The remaining work is to establish the existence and content of relevant proprietary rights under Chinese law, including whether those rights survived the original acquisition; appreciation alone decides none of those questions and does not settle the form of final relief. Procedurally, English law governs the operation of the Proceeds of Crime Act framework. Substantively, the claims are governed by Chinese law and remain factually extensive: at least 128,409 investment contracts, substantial prior repayments and a Bitcoin pool whose value changed sharply before recovery. Metaplanet Prices 2031 Zero-Coupon Convertible Bonds After Launching a Fresh Buyback
Metaplanet has set a conversion price of ¥339 per share for ¥52 billion of zero-coupon Euro-yen convertible bonds due October 29, 2031, and has begun a large share repurchase program. The price, set on October 14, was roughly 29.9% above the company’s October 13 closing price of ¥261, according to Metaplanet disclosures. Metaplanet expects about ¥51.9 billion in net proceeds and plans to use the funds during the current quarter to repay Bitcoin-backed borrowings and purchase its own shares, according to the company’s stated use of proceeds. ¥339 conversion price sets a 29.9% premium to market The bonds carry no coupon and mature in late October 2031. Their holders have the right to convert the securities into Metaplanet shares at ¥339 apiece, subject to the terms of the issue. A zero-coupon structure means the bonds do not make periodic interest payments, while the conversion feature gives investors potential exposure to the company’s equity. At the stated conversion price, investors would convert at a level ¥78 above the October 13 close. The premium is material because it places the initial conversion level above the market price used for the transaction’s pricing comparison. Metaplanet’s announcement identifies the offering as €? No, the company described the instruments as Euro-yen convertible bonds, with a principal amount of ¥52 billion and an October 29, 2031 due date. The disclosed terms do not establish how the shares will trade over the life of the bonds; they set the financing conditions agreed for this issuance. ¥51.9 billion proceeds split between Bitcoin debt and repurchases Metaplanet said it expects net proceeds of approximately ¥51.9 billion. Of that amount, ¥23.6 billion is allocated to repaying Bitcoin-backed borrowings in November 2026, while up to ¥28.3 billion is designated for share repurchases from October through December 2026. The allocation means the transaction is not solely an equity-support measure; a substantial portion of the financing is directed toward Bitcoin-backed debt repayment. CoinMarketCap Academy characterized the transaction as a balance-sheet restructuring that replaces part of Metaplanet’s Bitcoin-collateralized debt with unsecured, interest-free convertible bonds while funding buybacks. Buyback began with ¥19.3 billion off-auction purchase The company’s repurchase activity was already underway on October 14. In an initial ToSTNeT-3 off-auction transaction, Metaplanet acquired 73,981,400 shares at ¥261 each, for approximately ¥19.3 billion, according to a MONEY BOX reproduction of the disclosure. The per-share purchase price matched the October 13 closing price cited in the convertible-bond pricing announcement. It was also below the ¥339 conversion price set for the 2031 bonds, though the two prices serve different functions: one was the price paid in the initial repurchase, while the other is the bondholders’ initial conversion level. The off-auction purchase forms part of a wider authorization allowing Metaplanet to buy up to 200 million shares, equivalent to about 14.7% of issued shares, for a maximum of ¥60 billion. The authorization runs from October 14, 2026 through October 13, 2027, according to Japan IR. The initial ¥19.3 billion acquisition therefore uses part of the year-long framework, while the company has separately said that up to ¥28.3 billion of the convertible bond’s net proceeds may be used for repurchases through December. The stated timetable puts the debt repayment in November and the near-term buyback funding window at the center of Metaplanet’s next capital-allocation steps.
