#kospifallsmorethan2% South Korea’s Stock Market Slides Over 2% as AI Fears Return South Korea’s benchmark KOSPI index fell 2.10% to 5,647.04 in early trading on October 20, dropping below the 5,700 level despite a rebound in US semiconductor stocks. The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also declined nearly 2%. 📉 Investor concerns over the profitability of AI investments, rising financing costs and persistent selling by foreign and institutional investors weighed on the market. SK Hynix fell more than 4%, while Samsung Electronics also moved lower. The decline highlights growing uncertainty around AI-related valuations. Investors are now watching upcoming earnings from major US technology companies for signs of whether the sector can regain momentum. #KOSPI #stockmarket #AIStocks #CryptoMarket
