Exchange Bitget suffers hacker attack with losses of more than $170 million
Bitget is facing speculation of an attack after users reported problems with withdrawals, while on-chain data points to around $176 million being transferred from wallets identified as belonging to the exchange.
Arkham data shows a series of large transfers occurring over approximately 20 minutes. The funds started from multiple hot wallets labeled as Bitget and at least one cold wallet.
