The Top Female in the Crypto World|What Makes He Yi the 'Sister'?
If there is a goddess in the crypto world, He Yi is definitely not a 'marketing persona' but an OG Queen 👑 forged through real effort.
She didn't rise to fame through labels but through hardcore execution and a strategic vision that transcends cycles, step by step establishing herself as an industry benchmark.
🎙️ From a host at CCTV Finance to co-founder of Binance, this is a cross-industry leap that many can't even imagine.
In 2014, she gave up a stable job and jumped into the muddy waters of the crypto world, where Bitcoin was still just a small circle of geeks and idealists, yet she entered when it was least favored.
She bet on the future and won the trend.
Later, she partnered with CZ to found Binance, responsible for the core areas of 'brand, community, and globalization.' She was not just an operator behind the scenes but a core decision-maker 'on the front line':
Connecting global communities Building a bridge between Chinese content and international users Establishing platform trust through live streams, AMAs, and Twitter Driving Binance to become the largest exchange in the world
Her statement 'Binance is everyone's Binance' has touched countless users, making retail investors willing to 'trust once more' during crises.
💬 She never plays the 'victim' or relies on the 'female entrepreneur' label to attract traffic. She has repeatedly emphasized in public: 'Whether you can get things done is not because you are a woman, but whether you can drive things to happen.' She is one of the few who can retain users' attention in a tech-dominated industry through 'content + consensus.' She transformed Binance's brand from a 'cold, centralized platform' to a 'trusted community' without relying on traffic but on deep human understanding + high-intensity execution. 📌 She is one of the few 'articulate, capable, and action-oriented' OGs in the circle.
On social media, she is very outspoken and sincere, occasionally dropping golden quotes for people to ponder:
'If you don’t sell, it’s not a loss.'
'You either love it or leave it. The middle ground is reserved for liquidated retail investors.'
'Not doing anything in a bear market means you’re not even worthy of doubling down in a bull market.'
This is not showing off; it’s a summary—she is the one who has experienced the complete cycle from zero, and what she says, she has truly lived through.
Solana has a major network milestone to clear tonight 👀 Around 21:30 Beijing time At the epoch 1079 boundary
Nodes that haven’t upgraded to Agave 4.4.1 or Firedancer 26.10.6 will be forked off and vote rewards will stop immediately
The patch does just one thing: sets a minimum loading size for loader-v3 ProgramData The feature gate activates at the scheduled time If the two sides calculate things differently, the network splits
It only came out yesterday afternoon leaving everyone roughly a dozen hours RPC nodes need to catch up too or wallets may even read the chain incorrectly
Just making a note of it This isn’t about the market It’s a network maintenance day
Kalshi has launched regulated single-stock perpetual contracts in the U.S. 👀 The first batch lets you trade AAPL and AMZN With nearly 5x leverage No expiration date Go long or short directly
The company says it covers the NYSE and Nasdaq More than 50 major companies META and others are on the list too The COO also mentioned that On the morning of its quiet launch Trading volume had already topped $300 million
In the past, these kinds of single-stock perpetuals Were mostly on offshore platforms With annual trading volume of around $4.5 trillion This time, they’ve moved onto U.S. soil With the CFTC and SEC both keeping watch
Of course, lawsuits are still challenging the regulatory stance But the product is already live
I’ll keep an eye on it The crypto-style perpetual trading model Is gradually making its way into U.S. stocks
Spotted an interesting one while scrolling through governance this morning 👀
Aave DAO has put “Onboard Native BTC as Collateral via Babylon Trustless Bitcoin Vaults” on Snapshot
The voting window is roughly 2026-11-06 to 11-09 in Eastern Time
The mechanics are pretty convoluted BTC stays in Babylon vaults on the Bitcoin chain instead of being handed to a custodian to make wrapped tokens On the Aave side, it’s just recorded as a non-transferable accounting token
LlamaRisk recommends a collateral cap of 300 BTC and a collateral factor of around 78%
Note Passing Snapshot is only a governance commitment A separate on-chain AIP is still needed for the actual launch
The idea of bringing $BTC into lending sounds cool but there’s still a long process ahead
Checking my phone this morning and came across another regulatory-related update 👀
Nasdaq-listed Hyperliquid Strategies (ticker: PURR) disclosed that a subsidiary has applied to the U.S. CFTC to register as a futures commission merchant (FCM)
Put simply, it wants to act as a compliant intermediary If approved, U.S. clients’ accounts could be connected to the permissioned perpetual markets under HIP-3
I also took a quick look at the quarterly figures Revenue: about $13.3 million Net income: about $620.6 million Most of it came from unrealized gains on HYPE tokens It still holds around 38.52 million HYPE
The key thing to remember: This is an application, not an approval The timeline and final form are still up in the air
I’ll make a note of it Another path has opened for on-chain perpetuals to move toward U.S. regulatory compliance
Saw this morning that the White House is reviewing crypto rules again 😅
The SEC’s draft proposal to adapt broker-dealer rules for crypto RIN 3235-AN48 was submitted to the White House OIRA on November 3 Status is still Pending Review It’s also marked Economically Significant
The proposed changes cover Rule 15c3-1 capital requirements Rule 15c3-3 customer asset protection Rules 17a-3 / 17a-4 recordkeeping and reporting Bringing crypto assets under broker-dealer rules
Congress is still working on its market structure bill while the SEC is moving ahead with its own rulemaking Regulatory clarity is inching forward
As a retail investor, I can’t make sense of long legal documents but seeing capital, custody, and recordkeeping all being revised at least tells me this isn’t just empty talk
Worth keeping an eye on The next step comes after the White House review
This morning, the group chat was still arguing about European tax reforms 😅
Yesterday, the Greek parliament passed a framework for taxing crypto capital gains Tax rate: 10% Annual gains of up to €500 are tax-exempt Crypto-to-crypto swaps won’t be taxed immediately The rules take effect on January 1, 2027
The EU still hasn’t harmonized crypto taxes Each country sets its own rules Rates commonly range from around 8% to 30% Greece’s new rate is on the lower end And it includes a small-gains exemption
For a small portfolio like mine, the €500 threshold seems pretty friendly But with larger transactions, you still need to keep careful records
Just something to keep in mind When it comes to taxes in Europe, every country is still doing its own thing
Just came across this: Europe’s largest asset manager is making a move too 👀
Amundi With around €2.4 trillion in assets under management, it has launched tokenized shares of its flagship equity index fund, Amundi Core STOXX Europe 600, directly on the public Ethereum blockchain.
Its partner is CACEIS, which handles the tokenization infrastructure and transfer agency. The fund tracks 600 European large-, mid- and small-cap stocks and has around €22.8 billion in assets. It’s still available through traditional channels; the tokenized shares are an additional share class.
Actually, it already put shares of a money market fund on-chain last November. This time, it’s moving from cash-like products to an equity index.
I took a quick look: the tokenized equity market is around $4.24 billion. US equity products still make up the bulk of it. European asset managers are clearly trying to catch up.
I’ll make a note of it: putting TradFi on-chain is becoming less and less novel.
It’s called Leap The team is the same crew behind Dialect Dialect was acquired by Solana Labs this year They built Actions / Blinks and the cashtag feature on X
Early access opens November 5 iPhone via TestFlight Android coming soon, they say Official site: leap.xyz If you’re in one of the restricted regions in the UK, don’t get your hopes up
What can you do with it? Tokenized stocks, ETFs, metals, commodities, forex, and crypto 24/7 Place orders in dollar amounts Jupiter routing, Helius infrastructure, Birdeye market data On-chain swaps
One thing I find pretty interesting: Research will pin news that affects the market to the corresponding moment on the candlestick chart PnL details are pretty thorough too, including the cost basis and breakeven for each position
For now, there’s no app-specific fee at launch Network and routing fees still apply They plan to use future fees to buy back and burn SOL There’s also a Founders Club referral reward
GM said Alpenglow is confirmed at around 150ms Anatoly has endorsed it too
I’ll keep an eye on it for now If I get a TestFlight invite, I’ll check it out
Scrolling late at night, I came across something else that was a bit surprising 😅
The midterms had just wrapped up, and people in the group were still saying regulation would be dead in the water for two years. Then some media outlets reported that Democrats were discussing expanding the crypto investor rights provisions in Waters' bill into a comprehensive market structure bill.
The general direction seems to be giving the SEC broader authority and the CFTC a bit less, while also adding ethics restrictions on federal officials dealing with crypto. The actual text hasn't come out yet. Republicans are calling it a messaging bill.
But just 24 hours ago, the consensus was that market structure legislation would be shelved for two years. Now people are talking about reviving the whole Clarity approach again.
For now, I'll take it as news. Let's see what happens if it actually comes to pass.
Just finished checking the charts and my hands are still shaking 😅
It was still hovering above 80K during the day Then it got dragged down by the sell-off in U.S. AI stocks In a short time, it slid from around 81K all the way to around 76.5K Watcher is also showing About $400 million in long liquidations over 60 minutes
Nasdaq down around 4% S&P down a little over 2% NVDA down about 8% AMD and MU also fell by double digits COIN down about 8% HOOD down about 10% MSTR down about 8%
Gold, on the other hand, caught a bid Up about 1% to around 4,116 Feels like risk assets are all letting go at once
After watching the bounce following the midterm elections this morning Tonight it gave back 80K again I'm not rushing to buy the dip Let's see if it can hold around 76K
Just saw a phone maker put stablecoins right into its system wallet Samsung
Samsung Wallet stablecoin accounts are now live for U.S. Galaxy users Buy, hold, transfer, and receive USDC directly on Solana
Compatible with around 82 million devices Requires a Samsung account, Android 13+, and age 18 or older New York residents can’t access it yet
No Samsung fees for transferring USDC between wallets You can also send funds to bank accounts in over 60 countries Some support conversion to local currency; fees vary by region
Accounts are held by a licensed custodian Everyday users don’t need to install a separate crypto app or manage their own private keys
Stablecoins are moving into the phones people use every day 📱 Maybe buying coffee or sending money will take one less app 🙂
In crypto, the community often pushes for delivery while the team waits for token unlocks—and the two things often seem to move on separate tracks. The product can wait a little longer, but the unlock calendar hasn’t missed a single day 😂 So with NeoSoul’s Believe Plan, the question I most want answered is: if the community sets challenges that could actually prevent the team from receiving its current unlock, will the team still accept them?
Based on the direction announced this time, each team unlock will first have to pass KPIs. If the targets aren’t met, the tokens won’t unlock, and the community can also help set the challenges. Last month’s proposals focused on real revenue, retention, and on-chain verifiability—not token prices or trading volume as measures of success. I support that direction.
But setting the challenges is only the first step. Who chooses them? Who scores them? And whose decision counts when the team and community disagree? Those are the things that determine whether the community is holding an actual exam paper or just a suggestion box.
I hope the rules to come will answer one question: if the community raises an issue the team doesn’t want to hear, but one that really could determine the product’s success or failure, can it stay on the table and become a challenge the team has to face?
For now, let “a project built to last a century” remain a vision. The real test of a promise is whether the rules still hold when delivery falls short and the team itself has something to lose.
That’s far more convincing than any number of “Believe” shouts when the going is good.
See @NeoSoulAI’s main post today for the details. I’d rather see everyone set tough challenges. If you say you won’t grade your own homework, then don’t just pick questions you already know how to answer. @NeoSoulAI #NeoSoul
After nine years as an independent Layer 1 blockchain, Zilliqa announced today that it’s transforming itself into something called Zilliqa Institutional Layer — an institutional-focused L2 on Ethereum
In a nutshell: Settlement happens on Ethereum Verified identities are embedded using vLEI A permissioned marketplace for verified institutions Liechtenstein’s state-backed LTIN will run the sequencer and also become a qualified vLEI issuer
The token is still ZIL The team says holders don’t need to do anything today
They were pretty blunt about it themselves: usage on the independent L1 never really took off Funding and liquidity dried up, too while security costs kept burning through cash More details are on their website: zilliqa.com
I took a quick look ZIL is around $0.0017 and down about 5% over the past 24 hours
An L1 that’s spent nine years pivoting to an L2 for institutions — not a script you see every day Worth keeping an eye on. Let’s see how they put it into practice.
Just saw another payments giant launch stablecoin payouts Stripe
U.S. merchants can now test Global Payouts Send USDC or OUSD directly to someone’s crypto wallet Available in over 160 markets Usually arrives within minutes
Funds come from a merchant’s USD or USDC balance in Stripe Treasury Stripe handles the exchange rate and conversion No need for merchants to integrate with a blockchain separately
USDC is available on quite a few networks: Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, Ethereum, Optimism, Polygon, Solana, Stellar, Tempo OUSD is currently available on Base, Ethereum, Solana, and Tempo
New York merchants can’t get in on this yet They’re waiting for the waitlist
Stablecoins are moving beyond price speculation to real salary and payment payouts 💸 Maybe cross-border settlements will have fewer hoops to jump through in the future 🙂
Came across the news tonight that another asset management giant is going on-chain Schroders
With around $1.1 trillion in assets under management, it’s bringing its emerging markets debt strategy to Solana with Centrifuge This is its first time on this chain
The product is called SISF It’s a feeder share class You hold an on-chain share Its NAV tracks the underlying Emerging Market Bond fund Covering sovereign debt, corporate bonds, and local-currency debt
They’ve been investing in emerging markets debt for over 50 years With more than 40 dedicated investment professionals Now they’re bringing an active credit strategy on-chain It’s no longer just government bonds and money market funds
Tokenized assets on the Centrifuge platform have surpassed around $750 million The overall RWA market is roughly $39 billion Cash and money market funds still account for around $14 billion
Trillion-dollar legacy finance is starting to take on emerging markets credit risk On-chain fixed income is looking less and less like a deposit alternative 🙂
Just came across some new details on miner Riot Ticker: RIOT
It signed a roughly $28 billion, 15-year power and land lease with Anthropic About 910 MW in total in Corsicana, Texas Once fully operational, annual rent is expected to average around $1.8 billion
Total project investment is about $5.5 billion Up to roughly $3.6 billion of that is reimbursement to Anthropic for data center modules If financing falls short, Anthropic can also recoup the amount through rent offsets Plus interest at an annualized rate of about 12%
Phase 1 is expected to start generating rent around June 2027 with phased payments continuing through July 2028
To transition to AI data centers, Riot sold about 20,264 BTC in the first three quarters of this year, raising about $1.5 billion It had only about 2,418 BTC left at quarter-end and said it would continue selling most of its newly mined coins
Miners are selling coins to fund computing power Lease agreements are so big they include 12% interest clauses U.S. stocks and crypto are pretty tightly linked this time 🙂
Came across Arthur Hayes’s new long piece tonight It’s titled “D is for Dilution”
The core argument is pretty hard-core SpaceX (SPCX) could face around 50% dilution by June 2027 About 8.6 billion shares are set to unlock, mostly from Musk’s vesting shares
It’s even more intense for Anthropic He estimates early investors could face around 83% dilution by June 2027 That’s the kind of math where supply hits you in the face before you’ve even popped the champagne
OpenAI’s IPO is slated for 2027 All three are riding the compute-demand narrative If their share prices soften, sentiment around AI credit could cool too
His chain of logic goes like this: Equity dilution → pressure on AI stocks → slower bank balance-sheet expansion → tighter dollar liquidity → short-term headwind for BTC
His own Maelstrom is staying on the sidelines Saying it’ll wait until liquidity conditions ease a bit more
After reading it, I’m left with one feeling: The narrative is still climbing, but supply is lining up too In the short term, don’t tie AI and BTC together as if they’re joined at the hip 🙂
Just saw that South Korea has pushed back its crypto tax again.
It was originally set to take effect in January 2027, but today the finance ministry changed course and delayed it to 2029.
This is already the fourth postponement since 2020 😅 The tax rate remains 22% (including local tax) on annual net gains exceeding KRW 2.5 million.
The official reasoning is pretty practical: The U.S. won't join the OECD's CARF information exchange until 2029, and taxing crypto earlier could put domestic traders at a disadvantage compared with those overseas.
They also mentioned that losses can be carried forward for three years. Minister Lee Hyeong-il said the working group will continue through the first half of 2027, with legislation planned for 2027 and detailed rules for the first half of 2028.
The news just started circulating in the group. I'll make a note of it for now and see how the National Assembly responds.
